He says the last statement with a smile that had a tinge of stupidity, and outer sacarsm.

Well he was known for getting on teachers nerves and that statement had something to do with Sir Moses being trained by one of the female teachers.

Sir Moses just ignored him since even his so cold temper can't much up to Ben's father's. No matter how angry he was now he didn't want to start a fight with someone he knew he couldn't go against. Especially when he's just a stand in trainy.
