Chapter 125: Last Ditch Struggle

"Huff…huff…"

Blood dripped down my wounds as I leaned against a tree. All around me, twenty corpses lay strewn about, in various stages of damage. Some of them had their own weapons used against them. Others fell to my blade, which was stained red with blood no matter how many times I tried to flick it off. A few were literally in pieces.

Closing my eyes, I took a few moments to catch my breath. However, no matter how much I blocked out my sight, I could sense the massive aura of a Yellowed Lands realm cultivator approaching me.

"So you're still alive, huh? I could scarcely believe it." Luo Yu approached me almost idly, his hands in his pockets. He smirked and shook his head. "I thought I blasted you to oblivion, but you're a lot more tenacious than I thought."

I didn't reply. I had nothing to say to an enemy. Plus I was exhausted.
