An Unknown man

Rather than relief, she felt a chill go up her spine hearing that sound. Rooting to the spot dreading what she would see Kate slowly turned around thinking of all possible monsters that could attack her. But in return of all monsters that she imagined what greeted her was a cute kitten looking at her beside a broken vase which maybe came from a nearby shop. Laugthing at her useless paranoid feeling Kate just smiled at the cute kitten.

"So u were the monster I got so scared of, were u? Come fast and eat me up u cute monster",saying this she just giggled to herself feeling amused of how Ali would react if she saw her this way.After this brief interlude she continued walking toward the exit of the alley.

But unbeknownst to her the person following her also came out from his hiding spot and picked up the kitten smiling at the receding back of Kate in a cold way. Appreciating his quick thinking of surreptitiously putting the kitten beside the vase so as not to make that girl alert.

Suddenly the gentle breeze around turned into stormy winds and large drops of water started to fall on the pavement.

"Dammit, do everyone want to mess with me today only. Stupid Idiot Rain!! Why can't it come when I reached home!!!!!!"

Storming her feet against the pavement in anger Kate started running so that she could reach home before the rain started heavily. But just some steps ahead and it started raining cats and dogs. She was very near to the end of alley but had no choice but to go inside a cafe to her right so as to not get wet.

After entering she surveyed the cafe which was very dimly lit. At a quick glance there seemed to be no visible soul, but after looking carefully you could see a hooded figure beind a counter. She sat at the back of the cafe overlooking the Menu.

Suddenly there came jingling of bells as the door of the cafe opened, showing a man wearing a trenchcoat and a kind smile. Gingerly holding someting in his hand which was not visible at first glance.

But after that man sat not to far away Kate could see that same cute little cat in his hands.
