The world of Gamindustri is Tough for a DxD Devil of Shadows

"Now let's see... in order to win the game, you must first try to learn strategies and learn the storyline to get what the game story is about."

"I see."

If one wanted some context to what was going on here, it'd be that the two students Vali and Olivier, were located within the Library, the former having been sitting down with the latter who had recently immersed herself in studies regarding the upcoming exam for the game class. All the while, Vali himself gave advice now and then whenever she had become stuck and had tried to solve it herself. Vali of course, was someone who preferred not to baby his companions, as that would impede their growth by making them too reliant on outside help to achieve their problems, a flaw that would cause their downfall in the long run.

While they were studying, the silver-haired teen then began to think back to a certain time in the past two months that had passed since his helping of the brown-haired girl, about one month prior. He had been with Olivia, Alpha, and Emilia when they had signed up for an adventure class, although he hadn't seen much point to it since he DID have actual adventuring experience. In the end, he only went with them to ensure that Olivia's time in the dungeon ran more smoothly, and to help if she needed it. Of course, those damn Princes had also signed up along with that Marie chick, but he'd been VERY lucky that those idiot princes didn't even pay attention to him, nor did the rest of the class. He had even been allowed to go alone or pick a group that he can take with him, to which he had chosen his companions of course... although, this didn't sit well with everyone as girls had tried to get them to join their groups.

Instead, Vali just gave them the famous cold answer, one which he had become known to say when he had thought about it one time: "NO."

Meanwhile, seeing his usual luck with the ladies got the males of the class pretty heated up. The boys constantly cursed at him that he was so lucky to have three girls with him, that they began to LITERALLY cry tears of blood, something which freaked them all out (even Vali himself, to his surprise and slight dismay) before the male had prompted them to leave in a hurry, before things could get too crazy. Once they had gotten themselves alone, things calmed to a more serene atmosphere as the group explored the dungeon which was very easy for Vali, Alpha, and Emilia since they had been adventuring with Vali and the training they had received over the years.

One time, one of the monsters they had encountered, a monkey monster managed to sneak attack him, Vali had promptly incinerated it with his MR… though not without suffering an injury to his arm as the beast had launched a sneak attack on him. He of course, didn't flinch nor worry about it too much since he had been used to such things, so he would have been fine to let his own Mana do the healing work, but Olivia was worried about him so she decided to do something which Vali, Alpha AND Emilia became surprised at: cast a healing spell that made his wound vanish in an instant. It impressed, as well as surprised, him and his group members that Olivia was skilled in healing magic, though by comparison to his comrades, Vali wasn't as much since he believed that there was a hidden talent in everyone that they could use, like his rival Reinhard Van Astrea. Originally, he had a defective Mana Core in him, something which had naturally formed once the human race had been exposed to the Share Energy of CPUs long enough to let them reproduce and use Mana. As a result of his Mana Core being defective, the guy can't cast any spells, but as a payoff, he was able to absorb an incredible amount and that it didn't cause any harm to his body since he used all of that Mana to boost his physical abilities. Because of this, he could make others unable to use any magic while he's absorbing mana, which was how, every time they'd fought, they always ended up in a tie… something Vali hoped to change whenever he would meet with him again.

By the time that they had completed their task, which had been collecting enough Minerals to exchange for credits, they had gone back to the dungeon entrance to meet up with the teacher and the class. However, things didn't end quietly like they had hoped, since when they had arrived, they'd become witness to yet ANOTHER argument with Angelica telling Julius that Marie wasn't worth it, and to be with her instead.

'This is getting very annoying…'

That had been Vali's sole thought on the matter, as he had wanted to leave as soon as possible to get away from it, though fortunately for him luck had been on his side this time. Julius told her that 'enough was enough', telling her to leave Marie and him alone. As a result, this made Angelica become scorned by the other students that she was rejected again by the prince. As she had watched this, Emilia had begun feeling a bit sad about the blonde woman and had initially wanted to comfort her since she, as a woman, could relate to something like this. However, instead Vali got ahead of her, unleashing his Mana towards the students and told them to shut their traps. It had been the least he could have done for her, since she had done him a favour by accepting his request to teach Olivia about the Gamicademi regulations.

That had all occurred about one month ago, and now the two of them had begun studying for the upcoming game exam, with Emilia and Alpha immersed in their own tasks. ".....Damn, how the hell did the CPUs even solve the problem of how to beat bloodborne when it got harder?"

"Well..... maybe it's because they used strategies, not to mention grinding their levels to beat the game."

"How can grinding be helpful? It's just doing the same thing over and over..."

"Its because they think it will help their character to become very pow-"

Whilst Vali mentally tried to wrap his mind around the bullshit of games, since he wasn't a gaming person since he focused more on actually fighting and training than games (largely due to Zora forbidding him from having much growing up, though he got the feeling he'd already found his calling at this point)...

"Are we really doing it here?"

"It's fine isn't it? We're the only ones here after all."

The sounds of smooching, of lips pressing and breaking away from one another, filled the air and disturbed the two students. Immediately, a slightly pink hue formed on Vali's cheeks whilst he groaned into a palm he had planted onto his face. "......Ugh I knew it, those people won't even keep it in their fucking pants." he muttered in distress, not to mention that he wouldn't even have been surprised if the two in question happened to be one of those stupid Princes and that thot Marie (he'd once heard the term spoken by one of the female students, and upon looking up it's meaning, found it fitted her quite well. He even wanted to meet her just so he could say

'Begone, THOT!' to her, for some reason).

On the other hand, a significantly scandalized expression formed on Marie's face, which also turned cherry red at the rather… intense sounds that grew from the passionate makeout she had been hearing for a few minutes now. "Oh... my..." she whispered, placing a hand over her lips whilst her eyes shook, a dazed look soon forming on what could be seen of her red face.

"...Lets go to my dorm, where we can't hear them fucking around."

"Okay, Vali."

"Hehehehe this world is the best. Unlike my previous world, there aren't many dull boys and the best thing about it is that women have the most rights in the world since the CPUs are also women too."

Humming a merry tune to herself after having a SPLENDID makeout session with one of the Princes, Marie cheerily walked through a corridor whilst talking to herself. In truth, one could say she wasn't someone who was 'normal', for she was a reincarnated person from another world, also known as an 'otherworlder' who had made it a mission of hers to bend the storyline to her will.

Of course, she knew about this world, this world called Gamindustri. It wasn't the 'original' Gamindustri she had come to know, having forced one of her relatives to play the rebirth series including the spin-offs about them, but she DID recognize things from an Otome Game she had forced that same relative to play for her. These traits combined made Gamindustri, a world usually about jokes which she found stupid and pointless as well as male-oriented fanservice, into one with some of the comedy but with more female-oriented power roles. Hence, it could be called an Otome Style Gamindustri, which Marie preferred since it gave the females as much power as they deserved whilst the men (whom didn't even have many appearances in the original series) now were exceedingly handsome whilst raised to be subservient to women. It felt like goddamn PARADISE!

Though, one element flashed through her mind, and Marie's mood plummeted slightly.

"But that unbeatable prince, I never have seen him in the game before. Is he an anomaly...…..? Well, whatever he is just a mob character. Might as well ignore him."

Whilst she walked, Marie shifted focus from the silver-haired male in order to think about how to get rid of Olivia fast before she ruined everything. She WAS meant to be the character in her position after all, so if her potential was discovered before the time was right, then Marie might lose everything she had built up until this point.

"Marie!"

"Ah! Lord Julius and Jilk!"

Upon hearing the two voices of two of her capture targets, Marie switched to her 'game face' on the fly, having learned how to do such things over the years she had reincarnated in this world. Afterwards, she saw the two capture targets walk up to her, their smiles pleasing her to no end… even if she did have her problems with their personalities.

"So you were here. You can stop calling me Lord, just Julius is fine."

"O-okay did something happen?"

"I've talked to Jilk about something, I seem to recall that you don't have a personal servant?"

"My family is.....having financial struggles." she replied, sighing in a genuine manner this time. If there was anything she truly enjoyed, it was having a lot of money… something which she didn't have a lot of the time since the family she had been born into tended to spend the money she had rightfully earned on their own stuff, resulting in said family falling into high amounts of debt. ' Sigh I really wish that I was born into a rich family'

After hearing this however, Jilk made a suggestion that caught Marie's attention. "In that case, me and Jilk shall buy you a servant, you must be lonely without one don't you." he offered, prompting her to beam happily before him, clasping her hands together as if to pray.

"Th-thank you you, Lo-Julius and Jilk!" she exclaimed, whilst internally she had a few more sinister words floating around. 'Finally, a demi-human sla-servant!'

Now that he had her approval, Julius gave a smile of relief. "In that case, I shall arrange a carriage. We're going to the Plantetune Emporium in the Leanbox Captial." he explained, causing Marie to remember how, thanks to the four Nations having signed a Peace Treaty some time ago, each of the said Nations shared their technology, facilities and other stuff with each other. Hence why there were things in one Nation that were actually from another.

'As usual, the boys would do anything to make their lovers happy. Well, since I am happy, I'm going to enjoy this world to its fullest and there's no one to ruin it!' the girl thought to herself, giggling merrily at the thought of a peaceful court life with multiple lovers at her beck and call.

Of course, these thoughts would soon come back to bite her, and bite her in the future they would.

Timeskip six weeks

"Oh, Vali! Here, come and have a drink with us!"

"......Hell no, bitch."

"What did you say?!"

"I said no."

"Grrrrr maybe I should teach you a lesson! Wilber-Wilber?t What are you doing behind that column!?"

"Sorry mistress, but.....that boy emits so much Mana that I can't even get close to him."

"I don't care, just get over here and teach him a lesson!"

"I....mistress he's not even there."

"What! When did he-?!"

Whilst yet another random arrogant noblewoman tried to get him into her growing harem of lovers, Vali just snuck outside to get some air… as well as to get away from her. Not just her though, but all the other girls who had demanded to hang out with him. It would seem that because of the setting at the moment, more girls than normal had tried to lay their claim on him, something which irritated the boy to no end.

Also, as to not look like a total bum, and after having Luxon send him some funds over, Vali had chosen to adopt a new wardrobe to compliment the occasion. He now wore, instead of his school uniform, he now wore a blue dress shirt with the collar straight up, an open black suit jacket over it with silver cufflinks. The teen also had his shirt open at the neck, allowing some of his torso to be revealed. He wore a pair of matching black dress pants and shoes on his lower body, a leather black belt keeping his pants in place (although he did hear of a few perverted girls wanting to take that belt off when he wasn't looking or in the bedroom… which caused him to shudder and want to stay the HELL away from those). Combined with his hair being styled normally as well as with the cologne he had doused himself with, and Vali looked like a natural lady-killer.

He could definitely agree with the saying that 'money makes the world go round' here...

Though, aside from those things, some other interesting developments had begun as well, involving Luxon and the Island he now owned. It had become quickly infested with all kinds of different monsters, to which the AI had to create worker robots like the ones it'd used against him and the girls back when they'd stumbled across it's home before, to take care of them. Some of the more popular ones had been slimes, some as large as Giant Doggos, and some small ones. He'd been working on a project revolving around them with Luxon, especially after he had learned of how well they could conduct Mana… despite only the larger ones beng strong enough to handle HIS destructive Mana.

Another project had been putting the Monster Egg he had found in a simulation of it's home environment which Luxon had created. What would eventually pop out from that Egg would be anyone's guess, but Vali had heard from the AI that it likely would become quite powerful in a short amount of time, which made the teen REAL excited about a potential sparring partner for him. One who could give him a challenge like his sole rival Reinhard.

After having yet another sigh, one which he felt would be on a long list of them he'd have for this night, Vali managed to find a bench and sat on it. Whilst a moan escaped his lips when he felt the weight abade from his legs, the boy began to recall the events that happened two weeks before.

'I was right when I considered this whole thing to be one big pain in the ass…'

Currently, Vali was attending a student party that he had been invited to, though not Emilia and Alpha because they had been studying for the finals that were due next week, so they couldn't be with him. That would be fine, he would have refused it, but Olivia was going to be in it, so with a heavy heart and mind...…..he decided to attend the party with her but couldn't find her anywhere. The reason why he had decided all this was because, when he thought of how people would likely bully her like he'd seen before inviting her to his party, he would also think of his mother. That, and combined with how he considered her to be… one of them, one of Shadow Garden's potential members, in a sense, resulted in him placing her safety as a higher priority than his own studies… which weren't too bad hence why he had been invited to go to this in the first place.

Moreover, there was also something else regarding this Party, something which his bratty older sister had to him one night after barging into his room like she owned it (he had nearly beheaded her at that point with a MS, but refrained at the last second, regrettably) about Marie and the prince entourage, about how they were getting extremely close and the potential scandal that would erupt from it if it leaked out into the public. Julius' family, according to her, was considered to be quite close to the CPU of this region, Leanbox, so if something were to happen to Julius, like say break his relationship with Angelica, then they are not only disrespecting their houses, but also disrespecting the CPU, which was a bad idea for everyone. His older sister had warned him to not ruin this chance, or else there will be hell to pay (which he didn't care about originally, before she had reminded him that Olivia was going to be there)

While he was just sitting there, Vali heard the dreaded sound of footwear, causing him to tense up. Was that another girl coming to try and claim him again, couldn't they give it a rest already? Thoughts like that had filled his mind before Vali looked to the source, intending to deploy a MS just to give them a piece of his mind… until he saw that it was Olivia, causing him to stop those actions. Probably due to her being a commoner, Marie didn't have any nice fancy formal wear to go with this party, so she had opted simply for the school uniform.

After confirming that it had been her and not some sleazy woman, he noticed that she had been looking left and right before her gaze locked onto him like. Vali would have called out to her in a leisurely manner like he usually would have, but judging from the anxious expression she had on, something must've happened. "Olivia…...what is it?"

"Vali there's trouble! There's trouble in the court!"

"Huh?.....fine, show me."

Upon hearing that there was trouble, Vali decided to check it out. It'd beat having to bat away girls with a MS honestly, though that thought did have its own appeal. Vali walked with Olivia back into the building that the party was being held in, only to discover an… interesting sight. To his relief, everyone's attention was not on him, but instead in the center of the room and from it, came a loud voice that he recognized as Angelica's. 'Oh no… this is going to be what I think it is, isn't it…?'

"WHY CAN YOU JUST UNDERSTAND? I'M DOING THIS FOR THE SAKE OF OUR FAMILY!"

"Angelica, stand down now."

Standing before all four Princes as well as Marie, each of them clad in formal-looking suits compared to the lone school uniform-wearing girl, Angelica had an absolutely LIVID face on as she glared murderously towards Marie. Said girl having stood 'anxiously' behind her four companions who were guarding her from that gaze whilst retaliating with cold, uncaring ones towards the blonde woman. It looked like Angelica had caught them doing something that would be frowned upon by society, well, at least to her, with her fury having attracted the attention of the entire party.

"You know her true nature, but yet why!? How could you accept her, nonetheless!? Don't you know people know she' been making moves on each one of you!" Angelica raged at the four, who remained unperturbed by both her words and her gaze.

Yet, her anger soon got mixed in with a bout of shock when the following words escaped Chris's lips as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. "We know."

"WHAT!?"

Uncrossing his arms, Chris then placed a hand over his heart whilst closing his eyes, as if trying to speak through his honest feelings or something like that. "I was saved by Marie when she scolded me for being reckless. I wanted to repay her by protecting her."

In response to this, however, Greg aimed an amused chuckle at his fellow Prince. "Get to the point man, be honest you're in love with her." he chided, causing Chris to roll his eyes indifferently although the Princes (and pretty much anyone who'd done their homework on him) knew that it was just a facade at this point.

Though, Jilk took the opportunity to state his feelings first before the other three Princes could take the spotlight. "She is a wonderful girl, I would say that I love Marie the most."

"Grrrrr!"

Angelica growled like an animal at the three Princes, but they ignored her. She looked to Julius as he formed a determined face, stepping forwards in front of Marie, shielding her from the majority of the gazes directed at her (in his mind), with an arm in front of her. "No I would say that the one who loves Marie is ME."

RIGHT after saying that...

"Kyyaahh!"

"Did you hear that!?"

"I want to try say that toooo!"

Angelica just stayed silent as she heard people talking about this

"It looks like their engagement will break."

"It's so pitiful for her that she is rejected by lord Julius."

Angelica still stayed silent as she had a conflict face on her expression before speaking to Julius

"So that's your final answer, you don't plan to end this as a school affair?"

"Yes, to me there is only one irreplaceable girl....and that's Marie."

Whilst watching this play out, Vali just stayed silent as he saw this drama happening. He now knew what his sister meant that Julius would ruin not just the region of Leanbox, but also the CPU directly to it. 'This......will not end well' The male thought to himself, frowning internally whilst crossing his arms in front of his chest. According to what Olivia had told him, apparently Angelica had caught Marie doing scandalous actions with someone other than Julius and had informed him about it… which the man had no care for, hence the metaphorical bubbling kettle boiled over.

Angelica just stood there with an emotionless face, before she did something that surprised not just him but also the students.

"OW!"

"Pick it up, you wrench."

"Uh oh, now this became serious....ehh not that I care about."

"Vali you don't say something like that, you have to help her!"

"Well what can I do, I can't get involved with their affair and beside it's not like it my business af-"

"And besides with all five of us, not even Vali can beat us, not like he ever wants to show us his face, that coward."

...

...

...

...

That did it, it made everyone quiet when Greg said that so arrogantly, puffing out his chest with pride whilst proclaiming that they could beat the one known literally as the 'unbeatable prince'. Even Angelica became silent when she heard that, such had been the shock that enraptured her alongside the rest of the crowd of girls. Even the boys became quiet, for they knew WELL what would likely happen in this case, with many of them becoming quite fearful… although a small portion led by a guy who looked like he spent way too much time gaming overnight began to become hopeful at seeing a possible beatdown.

"Hoooo…...did I hear that right? You five think that together, you can beat me…?"

When they heard that voice everyone looked at behind or front as they quickly parted to the sides, allowing Vali passage as he slowly strode forwards with a slight smirk on his lips… one which didn't reach his eyes though. Not to mention the silver aura, not one born from his MSK though, swirling around him that felt absolutely chock full of his repressed fury as he walked towards them. When he had heard those words, something inside of Vali just SNAPPED. He had a HUGE ass list of troubles that these four idiots had brought upon him, enough to fill a whole encyclopedia book, but that one statement about being STRONGER than him? HIM? When these assholes didn't train NEARLY as much or as intensely? Oh, there was ZERO chance he would let this stand.

This wasn't going to be Angelica's problem anymore, it was HIS…

He'll MAKE it so.

Whilst this happened Greg quickly thought about what he had just said, momentarily confused and surprised, before becoming paler than a ghost. What he had just said, it may as well have sounded like a freaking death sentence, since not ONE of the Princes, heck even anyone in the SCHOOL aside from one person who had graduated, had any record of beating Vali. The guy loved to fight all the damn time, which resulted in him being so strong that nobody here could challenge him, even then he STILL kept on getting stronger. Thus, he had his reputation as the 'unbeatable prince' because of this fact… a reputation well-deserved, especially if one looked at the merits he had achieved.

Yet, despite the bone-chilling sensations inside him, Greg STILL tried to play it cool to keep his image. "Uhhhhh-I-uuuhh yeah, we can! Even you won't stand against us-ugh!!"

An image that got cracked when Vali silenced him. He did so by punching Greg STRAIGHT in the gut when he continued to bluff, he punched him so hard that he went flying towards one of the columns at the back of the room.

BOOM!

"GREG!"

Upon seeing what had just happened, Brad called out Greg's name in alarm whilst several shrieks rang out from the onlookers (although a few cheers could be heard from some guys, too). He quickly went to his friends side, kneeling on one leg whilst looking him up and down to see if he was alright. Aside from being unconscious with a big bruise likely forming where Vali had hit him, he'd live live....for now

"Well well, good afternoon..... your highness."

Julius, Chris and Jill quickly got in front of Marie to protect her from the coldly smiling Vali.

"Vali Fou Bartford."

"Hmph so you know about me after all, your highness. It would seem that your friend there, still didn't even learn his lesson. This makes it what, the 4500th time I've kicked his ass, now? And besides, Chris, how's your cousin doing? Is he fine, because if he is, I might pay a visit to him to see how he's doing. Maybe a little spar with him would do fine." Vali questioned the prince with his smirk becoming all the more sinister each second. Not to mention the grin he aimed at the stoic member of the group.

Chris stayed silent as he knew how powerful the teen was when he fought him before.

Marie stayed silent as she began to become scared of Vali. She then tugged on Jilk's sleeve, wanting to ask him something in a rather scared voice. A genuinely scared one at that. "W-who is he Jilk?"

For a moment, Jilk remained silent, which served as a first for Marie since usually he answered her questions immediately. Showed just how intimidating this guy whom she had originally considered a Mob Character, was, especially when he finally DID answer. "......his name is Vali Fou Bartford, he's known as the 'unbeatable prince' in this Academy."

"Wh-why is he called the unbeatable prince?"

"....the reason why extends back a few years. When he first came here in the academy, having joined the Elementary division, he had challenged many students in his year and won without a scratch. Even the robot armors couldn't stand up to him, and then there were many seniors that wanted to beat him for his title, but still lost. There was only one person that can match up against Vali: Reinhard Van Astrea Chris's cousin and the current sword saint of Leanbox."

"I-I see." Marie muttered, whilst internally she began a heavy and anger-fuelled rant. 'Shit! This has become so difficult now, I knew that there was something wrong about him! But I never seen him before in the game!....wait a minute…..shit, the butterfly effect! Oh no, what should I do?'

Out of the Princes, only Julius remained completely calm as he spoke with an authoritative tone towards the unbeatable Prince, his eyes cold and hard. "This does not involve you, Bartford." he stated.

Vali meanwhile, looked unaffected by that voice as he pocketed his hands in his trousers, grinning coldly at him whilst his aura intensified, giving a strong pressure to the rest of the room. "Oh believe me, your highness, I would stay away from everyone's business that I would not get involved. Buuuuuut, since one of your group had the audacity to say that all five of you could beat me, why not we test that theory? I'm raring to go anytime, anywhere."

"....Fine we, will."

GASP!

All of a sudden, a loud bout of chatter erupted throughout the audience once this declaration was made.

"Did I hear that correctly!? The princes are challenging the unbeatable Prince to a 5v1 fight!"

"I know, but I don't know who I should root for, Vali or the prince entourage!?"

"I heard that he even beat the seniors who were way older than him when he was just in the elementary Division! Plus, remember way back when, he found Lost Items while on an adventure, which means he had to go through a lot to get them, right?"

"I'm putting my money on Vali! I know he will win!"

"Me too!"

Vali just grinned in a very dark manner, his eyes gleaming with malice and sinister intent. The sight literally almost made Marie scared of him.

Unknown to the onlookers though, one lone female who looked to be dressed in uniform, almost as if she were trying not to drag attention to herself, eyed the scene with deep interest… and not the same kind of interest the rest of the students were having. Her eyes scanned Vali up and down, especially when she had heard about the merits that Vali had accumulated over his time here. A small, mischievous yet mysterious smile formed on her lips at this, thoughts and ideas starting to flow in her mind. "Finally, something that is worth my attention."

Back with the main hero of the story, Vali tilted his head as an interesting idea hit him, one which he KNEW everyone would eat up, plus he knew that with the Princes' prideful natures, they likely wouldn't refuse this. Anything for the chance to 'avenge their chivalrous dignity' as they called it. "But for the fight, instead of those clunky robot armors, how about we settle this in the human body?"

Cue more shocked gasps from the audience.

"WHAT!? Did I hear that correctly!? In the human body! Now that is impossible!"

"I know, there was only one person that was able to match him, and it's Chris' cousin!"

"You know what, I'm also going for Vali!"

"....I accept your proposal."

"Julius! Are you serious!? You can't be sure of that!"

"It's the only way we can match him, Jilk. Besides, you know that it's impossible to match him against robot armor. Remember when we saw him defeat one when he wasn't in one himself'? That Mana of his is very much unlike anything we've ever seen, and that's a HUGE advantage he has against metal constructs." The Prince answered his fellow Prince's shocked question, to which they ALL remembered THAT sight. A young boy, not even in his teens yet he still tore apart multiple story tall robots like it was nothing, without even using one himself. To call Vali a literal monster would not be too far off, given society's standards.

Once he heard their acceptance to his request, Vali snickered darkly and with delight too. Of course, he had ways of fighting with a Robot too, but he just preferred fighting himself, not behind some piece of metal. It just felt more… right to him, not to mention personal. "Hehehehe, now this is something I've been waiting for so long since I was assigned to the advanced class! To make this more challenging for you I will put up my stake, if I win you will stop seeing Marie and start seeing Angelica instead."

"And if I win.....you will never interfere with my relationship with Marie and never step foot in this academy ever again."

".....heheheheheGAHAHAHHAHAHA, YES! YES, THIS IS IT! THIS IS SOMETHING I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!"

Unable to contain himself any longer, Vali raised his foot up before bringing it down onto the floor beneath him. As a result, his foot SMASHED into it with brute force, creating a small tremor whilst forming a three foot deep crater beneath it. The foot also had the effect of making cracks spread everywhere in the room, scaring every student senseless whilst they tried to maintain their balance.

What's more, his angry silver aura intensified even MORE… along with forming a shape of something behind him, looming behind him like he was a puppet and it was the puppeteer. The silhouette gradually took form, and after a few seconds, those who could still stay standing fell onto their backsides when they saw the silhouette form into a DRAGON, one the size of the entire room's height. It's silver form just OOZED with power in waves whilst it sported two glowing hollow blue eyes that bore down on the now pale and sweat-covered Princes. Even Marie looked like she had gazed into the eyes of the reaper when seeing that Dragon.

"My CPU, his power......it's so unreal!"

"Has his power grown so much!?"

"Forget about the match, it would be a slaughterhouse instead!!"

A pale-faced Brad gaped at the sight, looking like he was about to meet his end just by standing within the overwhelming, dominating presence of SUPERIORITY that Vali exuded with his bloodthirsty, excited and almost CRAZY looking grin. "Julius.....we won't be able to match against that-that monster! Only Reinhard is able to match against him! We can't win against him!!"

As much as he agreed with his friend about his diagnosis of the situation, Julius just couldn't back down, especially when he saw how utterly TERRIFIED Marie looked as she clung onto him for dear life, trembling violently and looking like she would lose consciousness from the sheer power output a frustrated Vali was dishing out. Hence, since he brought this upon them, he had no choice but to follow through otherwise his reputation would be shattered into pieces. "......we won't know unless we try, Brad."

"WELL THEN, COUNT YOUR DAYS HOLFORT, BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE YOUR LAST, HAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Now REALLY happy with current events as well as downright giddy for what would come, a cheery Vali then turned on his dress shoes and left them alone, walking out the room with an almost spring in his step while also breaking the door out from it hinges showing off his power. Boy, was this a GREAT turn of events for him, or what? It wasn't often that Vali got so excited for this, heck his eyes which had turned silver and slitted before, were still in this state even as he had left the room! He just couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear! The thrilling thought of how happy he would be once he got into that five vs one fight against those assholes nearly made him sigh like a lovestruck schoolgirl, thats just how much he would look forward to this.

Though first, before he got ahead of himself, Vali had to talk with Luxon for a bit. There were preparations that needed to be made.

After he had left, the tension in the room abruptly vanished too, while Olivia looked at the direction that Vali had retreated to with concern on her face. Was this what she had heard about him, the REAL Vali? One time when she had been with Emilia, she talked about Vali being a battle maniac, and how much he loves to fight. He would do anything to get a good fight, even putting his reputation at stake just to get one. As much as she didn't want to be, she began to feel afraid of Vali, of this bloodlust side of him. Yet, more than that if he lost.....then she won't ever see him ever again: Her very first friend that cared about her (that also included Emilia).

".....WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING, ACCEPTING HIS PROPOSAL JULIUS?! YOU KNOW WE CAN'T MATCH AGAINST HIM!"

"We have no choice Brad! it's either that or we lose Marie!!"

".....Well, I hope you're right Julius, because if we can't beat the unbeatable prince......then there truly IS no one, other than Reinhard, to match against him."

AN:

Ohohohoh looks like their in for a lifetime, those Princes will regret on accepting the half devil proposal!.......Oh my name is Darklord and bringing back another chapter of the story! Now the reason why we made it early was because like Hunter said in last chapter we have enough time that we might do a chapter for a day. But don’t get your hopes high, I said might, not everyday. So anyway thanks fo reading me and Hunters story, leave a review if you want to and I’ll see you next time

GOOD LUCK!

Hunter here, hope you like this chapter, its a bit bigger than normal… but I think that its because we had the inspiration. Writing Vali going crazy over a good fight was actually pretty fun though, lol. Anyways, there were also subtle hints for not only what would happen in the final climax of this arc, but also the next one. Trust me, it’ll lead into the Rebirth 2 stuff and not in the way you might expect… lets just say this might be a more original way of leading into the rebirth 2 stuff than just being isekaied into the Gamindustri Graveyard or something. Hope you like the chap, let us know what you think, and look forward to the next.

PEACE OUT!
