On the southern part of the Continent, on the small coastal area of Celestia, there is a small kingdom of Annesly. Inside that Kingdom on the western side, there, the village of Spring could be seen.

This is the village of humans where Cyrus and his sister, Clair, grew up into fine young teens!

However, today... It's the day of departure of the Baumgartner family.

Cyrus and his parents are already outside the village gate, both Shane and James are talking to the village Chief bidding their farewells and good lucks accompanied by villagers of the spring village.

The villagers' emotions were too many, all of them had a disappointed, sad, and some are happy expressions.

The villagers had considered the Baumgartner as the members of the village as their protectors. Their gratitude towards them was huge that they cannot be repaid on a lifetime so the only thing that they could give is remembrance, blessings, and tokens.

The couples gave a sack of money for their gratitude to the villagers and told the village chief, "Take this money as our gratitude, please share it with everyone, and improve the village. So, if we ever had a chance return here, we would be glad to stay here forever."

These words made the villagers bright and very happy.

When the couples had made farewell with the villagers, the two separated apart with everyone and went towards their son, Cyrus.

Cyrus was leaning on the opened gates of the village, seeing his parents approaching him, he pushed his body forward and walked casually towards them as he followed them walked away from the village.

Soon, the figures of the three have walked away from the spring village as their figures could no longer be seen by the villagers.

The villagers seeing them disappeared from their sight, they could only take a deep sigh and continued their daily lives as mortal humans.

While walking, Cyrus asked, "Mother, father where is our destination?"

Shane took a map from her spatial storage by opening her palms, "Hmm, let's see... For a cheap ride, we would need to go to two cities and before leaving in this kingdom." Shane pointed out the places on the map as she explained.

Seeing this made Cyrus hyped up, "Nice!" I have never seen a city in this world since I was born... Cyrus could not help to sigh deep inside because he grew up here like the way he did from his previous life.

He lived in an isolated mountain with his clan members and the only time he could go to a city is when there are a field trip and work, and after his business was done, he would quickly return back to the mountains and thus he had never a chance to explore cities.

And now, he is reborn again, he lived a life away from populated areas and grew up here in the farthest region of Annesly kingdom where humans live and life here was very simple… And now, he would finally have a chance to see and explore the cities!

Seeing their excited son, both Shane and James didn't know whether to laugh or cry, because they felt a little guilt that their children have become a country bumpkin because they have grown here in an isolated village away from the real cruel world.

Although Shane and James could carry their son easily and fly towards the academy in a day, the two have planned to make Cyrus detour around the kingdom with them for a while and spend most of their time together with him as a way to make their hollow hearts filled with love before they could part away from him.

On the vast grasslands, there is only one dirt road heading towards the main road which is built with small rocks. On this snake-like dirt road, three figures, Cyrus and his parents were casually walking towards the stop on the main road. This stop made Cyrus remember that this is very similar to a bus stop only the difference is that the vehicle used was more like carriages, wagons, etc.

In an open field like this, Cyrus could not help to get mesmerized of the feeling he's experiencing, because he felt that the nature is very good here and the subtle winds comforted him even better. The skies were blue and clear, no clouds could be seen but a scorching hot sun hung on the middle.

Despite the sun is blasting its heat that could make skin run dry and burned due to radiation, Cyrus and his parents remained unaffected by this heat at all!

While walking on the dirt road, James remembered something then looked at his son, "Son, did you already see the money I gave you inside the spatial storage?"

Cyrus was startled a little then looked to his father before nodding his head, "Yes father, why?" He asked.

"Don't spend it too much okay, those crystals worth 2 million worth of money alone!" James jerked a smile across his face trying to make his son surprised.

Pffft! 2 freaking million!

Cyrus had his eyes wide opened almost popping out from its sockets, he didn't dare to believe that he's carrying 2 million worth of money inside his pockets!

I'm filthy rich now ah!

James nodded his head with a smug smile on his face when he saw his son's reaction as if this is the right reaction he should be showing.

"Father, isn't this too much?" Scratching his cheeks with his finger, Cyrus asked, "But because I don't know how to differentiate the crystals, I don't know if I would take the right crystal if I bought something, can father enlighten me?"

"Heh! Don't worry about that! Just take some random crystals and place it on the counter like it's nothing!"

*Bonk*

"Don't teach our son your stupidity!"

Shane quickly gave James a smack on his head using her mask when she heard her husband stupid suggestion. She then turned her head around to look at her son with a soft smile, "Don't listen to you idiot father and let your mother here teach you. Although even if you have two million worth of money in your pocket, it is not much than you thought!"

Cyrus was stunned.

"In this world, specifically here in Celestia continent we use crystal tablets as money or currency to exchange with goods, and these crystals are divided and categorized into three colours, white, yellow and cyan colours."

"While white crystal could be said to worth one value, but the yellow one is worth a hundred white crystal! And lastly, the cyan tablet worth a thousand of white crystal tablets! These are the basic money here, but then there is a special currency around here and that's purple and black cards, a purple card only worth fifty thousand white crystals, meanwhile the black one is the newest currency and I still don't know how much white crystals it could amount to." Shane explained to her son slowly for him to understand.

Cyrus nodded but before he could even say something, his mother continued to talk, "With the current status of the economy of this kingdom, there's deep inflation causing the goods and services to be high and expensive. For example, if you bought a bottle of water in any city here on the continent, the normal price should be ten white crystal, however, with the current status of the economy of this kingdom a bottle of water cost fifty yellow crystals! That's why people would rather want to drink from rivers than spend money for a bottle of water with that cost." Even for Shane, she finds this ridiculous as she could only shake her head.

Pfft! That expensive!? For a bottle of water, that normally costs ten white crystals he could buy fifty thousand bottles of water if the economy is normal!

Cyrus could only spat out from shock; he couldn't even believe that this kingdom has such pathetic economy! Such a ridiculous amount of money loss just for bottle water is very shocking on both previous and present life!

Cyrus shook his head feeling a headache starting to overwhelm his brain, "Geez, what happened to this kingdom to put themselves in a huge pile of shit."

Amused by his son's remarks, James casually replied, "Well, what can you expect, this is the smallest and weakest major kingdom in the continent. Not only manpower is lacking, the economy has a weak foundation and very unstable, not only that, the political power is really in deep shit as the previous king is a selfish cunt."

*Bonk!*

Shane threw another smack on James' head and her face had a displeased look, "Watch your words."

"Sigh, not only that. This kingdom had just a major loss after the war a few years ago when the Alexandria kingdom started to expand its territory here, and because this kingdom lost the war they could only helplessly look at the other country occupy their large chunk of land. Not only after, in just recent months, but the other officials are also fed up with the king and thus coup d'état happened, overthrowing the previous king and got beheaded in the public as punishment for being a parasite of the country and for his own scandal that had caused a major uproar throughout the kingdom." Shane explained without much emotions on her face as if the loss of kingdom is just so-so.

But of Cyrus, He's shocked!

'To think that this kingdom is standing on the pile of shit, it also fell into a deep hole! For sure this kingdom would not remain as the top 10 major countries! To think that there is a war happening a few years ago, why I had never heard such news? No wonder everyone in the village feels a lot tensed during those years.' Cyrus was lost to his though while walking.

Cyrus at the end could only sigh in pity for he, was ignorant to the outside world.

The three walked and talked non-stop on the long dirt road, their topics were all random that all of this takes some time to describe, but actually happened for a while.

Hours of walking they finally arrived at the main road made from pebbles, the three continued to walk at the main road before finally stopping at the shed at the side of the road as they waited. It only took a couple of minutes when a huge figure of shadow on the horizon arrived at their location.

A big carriage, the size of the bus made out of wood pulled by a big and nasty demi-beast that has a size of a mammoth but looked like a rhino.

With James command by waving his hands on the driver of the carriage, the big carriage stopped at front of them.

The three went inside the carriage, when Cyrus had entered, he was awed deep inside when he saw how spacious, bright and have good ventilation this carriage has.

As they walked inside, there are only a few passengers and most of them were normal humans ranging from elderly people, young couples to children. These humans are comfortable chatting with each other even despite that they are complete strangers to one another.

When they saw the three figures entering the carriage, they turned to look at the three with a smile on their face, but it suddenly froze when they saw the clothing and weapons wore by those two adults along with a handsome young man.

The three ignored their shocked expression and went upstairs without hurry as they casually find a sit upstairs.

In the second level of the carriage, this level was empty and devoid of people.

Cyrus and the couples sat on the back of the carriages. While he sat there comfortable in front of his parents, he was a little lost of thought as he called the expression of the humans below.

In this part of the land in the kingdom of Annesly, there are only a few demi-humans could be found here, this is the outskirts of the kingdom which is why it's only natural that there are not demi-humans here and for normal humans, this is the safest place for them but the opportunity is extremely low.

Normal humans could distinguish a person if that person is a demi-human because demi-humans have different pigmentation on their eyes and hair, not only that, their skin could be said as flawless due to their skin texture could hardly be affected by nature.

Meanwhile, humans, on the other hand, they have very dark black hair and their eyes were black. These humans have natural instinct to know and feel if the person is a demi-human, and they are completely powerless against demi-humans.

And because of this, all the normal humans have come to an agreement not to fight each other because there is no place for them here to become a part of power with these powerful humans and monstrous beasts all around the content, which is why the normal humans could be said as the most peaceful and hardly compete to each other.

When Cyrus had noticed that he was a loss in thoughts, he unconsciously looked at his parents, staring outside of the window.

Due to silence, Cyrus felt a lot awkward could not help to produce sweat on his back, thinking of any topic he could ask about, Cyrus finally recalled something and called his parents, "Mother, Father, would you tell me your adventures more? Let this son take it as a reminder."

Hearing this, the couple felt a lot happier as if they had a chance to talk to each other more and spend their time together. But before they could even start, Shane produced a transparent barrier around them which stunned Cyrus a little.

When the three was settled, James started to narrate things while touching his chin and talked a lot.

Looking at the multiple expression of his parents, Cyrus felt glad that he had kind parents on this world who loved him and his sister dearly. Thinking like this, Cyrus felt bitter inside because her sister didn't have a chance to experience this bonding with their family.

Both Shane and James talked and explained things on their adventure as the carriage continued to travel. If James were energetic, Shane, on the other hand, talked her personal adventure in a calm manner.

And for Cyrus, he initially wanted to make her parents not awkward towards him had learned a lot of things and he kept nodding and writing notes deep inside of his head, even in the process of remembering things he had even obtained and learned skills that do not use elemental essence and used only by the anima. These skills were techniques called [Fast steps] Which is a movement skill and [Needle Strike} which is an assassination skill.

As the conversation about adventures come to an end, the three talked about the plan ahead of them. For now, their first destination is to reach Jade City and stay there for a single day, but before they could reach the Jade city, it would take almost 8 hours of travel with the speed of lousy 40 kilometers per hour.

After spending a night there in the Jade city, they will take another carriage towards the Emerald City, and they will stay there for another one day before they could go to the Capital City of the Kingdom of Annesly and separate their ways there.

With everything planned out, Cyrus he relaxed a bit and unknowingly, he felt drowsy and soon enough, he fell asleep.

The couple looked at their son with a smile on their face and feel gratified, the two turned to look each other and talked in private isolating the two of them with barrier for Cyrus not to hear their conversation.

Cyrus didn't sleep fully as he had awoken from his dantian, by the time he had opened his eyes, he was surprised to see the two spirits inside. He stood up from the floor and walked towards the sleeping Lily and Lynae together, both clinging on the warm scarlet egg.

Seeing them pitifully sleeping on the cold floor, Cyrus felt bad, he wished he could take something from the outside world to bring it inside here.

He stared at the beautiful Lily who had fallen asleep while still pinching Lynae's tender and soft cheeks, meanwhile, on the other hand, Lynae was asleep as she kept saying, "Staaaph it~" adorably with small saliva dripping on the floor.

Cyrus felt amused and could not contain his flowery feeling inside his heart as he softly pats Lynae's soft azure hair. After that, he turned around to start to cultivate In dual-process styles.
