World Shaking Discovery

Time passed and a week went by in a flash. The world was still changing and developing as news of deaths were happening and powerful beasts were being birthed each day.

In Europe the European Union held a conference streamed to the world. A very popular cultivator from England called the Copper Knight was about to make an announcement that would shock the world and once again pivot human's future into a new direction.

There were hundreds of cameramen and journalists standing in front of a well-lit podium which was well elevated from the ground. There was a long silence before the man began to walk in.

No one spoke a word. In this new world of cultivation at the moment cultivators were held on to such a higher step that there were many who remained careful not to show disrespect. Especially if the man is known as one of the most powerful men on Earth.

The Copper Knight has had a very fast growth in popularity and strength in the past few months as his breakthroughs came suddenly in missions allowing him to stand at the top of the world. His body was long and tall, as his short blond hair and his rectangular face made him look like a giant amongst men, but his brown robe with copper accessories and copper shoulder pads made him look quite intimidating. His steps were quite tranquil as in no time he made it to the podium and looked towards the large crowd ahead of him with his blue eyes.

"Good evening. For those who don't know me, I am Copper Knight. A few days ago I had made a breakthrough that many of us have never seen before. I had completely filled my core and took a step into the next realm of cultivation." Calmly the Copper Knight laid out the facts and information that he possessed.

The room that was once attempting its hardest to keep quiet couldn't help but change into a group of low murmurs that could easily be seen as surprising murmurs as their faces were full of shock. Many wanted to cut the Copper Knight off and ask questions, however, his presence felt so large that they couldn't manage to do it, instead, they decided to listen attentively.

"...There have been many discussions and questions in regards to what is next once filling the core we possess within ourselves. I will say stepping into the next stage isn't simply done by sitting and cultivating for a long time like filling the core initially. Once our cores have been filled, we must temper our bodies through battles and stimulate the core which then will send roots filled with world qi to spread throughout your body. This allows you to manipulate the world qi better when using techniques, which means our techniques are now almost twice as powerful as before…" The Copper Knight took a pause, allowing all of this new information to be taken in by the audience as he understood this would shake the world in a few days.

He then continued,"... Another surprising point for me was the fact that after breaking through I was able to visualize the next few steps of my cultivation with my cultivation book. I'm not sure if this strange realization or thought is only triggered or created within our minds once we break through, or if every cultivation technique will have these visualizations towards the next step once we master the initial cultivation technique… As far as I know, there are other three cultivators who have reached this stage which we are now calling the Rooted Core Realm, and each root created allows your power to increase substantially. I myself have only created one root, and although it has allowed me to grow in power, even more, the Water Prince has created two thus far and through sparring, I could tell that the difference by a root can be hard to overcome…"

He took another pause as he shared another piece of information that the journalists were going crazy over. The Water Prince was already at the second root and most likely still the strongest man on Earth.

The Copper Knight went on to discuss the beasts and their fast growth and the need for human beings to come together to face this greater calamity that might wipe the human race out. He also shared information on beasts and the different kinds now being spotted. There were normal beasts and magical beasts capable of using world qi to launch different forms of attacks as opposed to the usual physical ones.

He also noted that he and the other three Rooted Core Cultivators stood behind the cultivation island and the good that they have been doing to the world.

There was a lot of new information to be unpacked not only by the journalists but the world. Many people were tuning in from their computers or smartphones, however, Lester wasn't one of them.

He was currently sitting in his room in a lotus position putting his utmost concentration into understanding the bags that he had received from the Holyman and the Hair Witch. For the past week, he had been here sitting this way and had made little progress. The intricate designs and combinations made by these formations used to seal these bags were so different he could hardly wrap his mind around it. He had been trying to dissect them to understand each sign and their effect.

There were beads of sweat forming on his forehead as his home clothes looked to be drenched in sweat.

Before coming here to spend time in cultivation, he had given the Holyman and Patrick their respectful techniques to help them in progress. He knew that they could achieve things with what they had as long as they dedicated their time into understanding.

Suddenly, Lester raised his head slightly and made a strange face as he looked at the bag. Initially, he had been thinking of formations as a combination of intricate designs that supported one another into creating a specific effect, and thus far it had proved right. However, he had never thought about the intricate designs being even more intricate than he had already seen. These essentially are a form of alien technology so he couldn't keep using human logical thinking for this.

Using this thinking process, he began to work with the formations on the bag, although he couldn't dissect them and study them individually, he could still use his world qi to work with the formations and hopefully activate this bag into opening.

A smile appeared on his face as he manipulated world qi into the bag's formation which seemed to be compatible with the careful maneuvering of the world qi.

"Chacka!"

Suddenly the bag lit up and the string that once tied the bag began to untie slowly. Lester's face didn't change as he was still placing all of his concentration into this action which if an average human witnessed they would feel strange as it doesn't look as difficult as it truly is.

As the bag opened there was a strange gust of wind that rushed out of it, making the temperature in the room fluctuate slightly.

"I wonder what's inside…" Lester murmured as he used his world qi to probe the inside.

"Ah!" Lester's eyes opened in surprise as he both noticed the large space within the bag and what was in it.

He reached into the bag and a bottle that was almost bigger than the bag. Within the bottle were three spherical-looking pills which thanks to his memories Lester knew what it was.

"Qi Absorption Pills!!!" He exclaimed as he knew that this pill would allow him to grow and improve faster than simply cultivating.

His blood boiled as he felt like he would reach a new realm of power once using these pills. His lack of talent when it came to cultivation was about to be assisted by these pills.

He was looking forward to the next few weeks as his progress was going to become much better.
