Cultivation Island

Patrick and Lester were inside of the city as they made their way to the biggest building compared to the others. The city wasn't too big, as there were only a few buildings which so happened to be shops, and other types of resources like restaurants, and a hospital.

When they entered the huge building they were a little shocked by the scene. The main lounge was huge, in fact, big enough for many people to fit in. On the corners of the building, there were receptionists, speaking to individuals. There were some areas for sitting and conversations as well as huge televisions all around the walls, depicting rankings, battles, and other news.

"Let's go sign up!" Lester and Patrick walked towards a nearby receptionist as they stood a few feet away waiting for a man to finish his discussion with her.

The man wore a green robe, with some sandals on. His hair was tied back and on his back was a wooden pole. The receptionist handed him a paper and told him to take the elevator, which he would walk towards as he left the receptionist stand.

Patrick walks up and talks with her for a short moment and is given another paper and told to go to the elevator. He walks away from the receptionist and smiles at Lester, giving him a thumbs up.

Lester goes on to speak with her as well.

"Goodmorning, sir! Do you wish to establish a partnership with Cultivation Island?" The blonde woman asked. Her smile wide, and her eyes sparkling as she stared at Lester.

Lester felt a little uncomfortable as he could tell she would take glances towards his glabella.

"Yes please." Lester nods

She pulls out a paper from the desk and states whilst pointing at it, " Please take the elevator to floor 3, and head towards room 312, there you will be explained a few things in regards to this island. Thank you for choosing us, and we wish you success!"

Lester smiled and gave a slight nod as he took the paper and moved towards the elevator.

Heading towards room 312 Lester walked past a few rooms and he could hear bangs and other sounds coming from each of them.

As he entered the room, he was a little taken back by the size of it. There was a man in a blue suit, with a paper in his handwriting something on it. The man lifts his head quite quickly making his circular glass shudder slightly, as he glanced towards Lester with his blue eyes.

"Welcome! I am Felix, one of the people taking care of signups." The man placed his pen down and moved his long blond hair behind his ear.

"Hi, I'm Lester," Lester responded. He wasn't the biggest social person, as he did travel around the world when young, and even in his early adult years, he lived in partial seclusion.

"Welcome! If you didn't know we are simply an organization looking to use the powerful people around the world to protect our motherland. As you know many beasts have leveled certain cities and killed many of our own kind. We simply want to prevent that. If you do not have the capabilities, please pull back and allow cultivators to do their thing. You could lose your life..." The man's face turned serious as he spoke.

"Understood, but I choose to go through with it." Lester responded.

"Great! To be quite honest we aren't a sect or school like the ones appearing around the world lately, promising to guide young cultivators into a world of power." Felix resumed his welcome.

Although Lester wasn't a teenager, early twenties on earth were considered to be quite young for a cultivator. Although from his new memories, Lester realized that it was quite pathetic and nothing compared to the geniuses around the world who are able to take a step into the world of cultivation at the early ages of five and six.

"There aren't any binding contracts that require you to pledge loyalty for us, as you do know we own these amazing treasures known as Spiritual contracts, and the only thing that we as of you is to not betray humanity. Not very hard is it?" Felix joked as he moved his glasses back for a better grip.

Lester shook his head.

"Despite that, many have tried to cause a ruckus and betray the contract attempting to use our resources whilst creating dangerous terrorist groups that could danger humanity. However, the same spiritual contract that they looked down upon took their lives as once it's broken it will directly destroy the core. I'm sure you remember Fisheye Killer and Arms of Death Chico." Felix continued.

Lester listened and nodded along, as he did understand these things. Fisheye Killer's death was actually caught on television as he suddenly exploded during a battle with some cultivators.

"Anyways, to prevent people from going to their deaths, we have a little procedure that you have to go through, I hope you don't mind." Said Felix, pointing behind himself as there was an open space with completely smooth walls and floor, as the ceiling seemed to be full of wires and strange technology.

Lester nodded.

"Before you get tested though, you will need to give me a cultivator name, you know? Cultivators are the new star, and people like a name to go with the heroes saving them… I don't know it's interesting how the world works." Felis said once more nodding towards Lester.

This was it! The name that would represent him for many years to come. Although Lester could care less for the spotlight and fame, cultivator names would usually speak volumes about the cultivator and who they are. It meant more than just a name. In fact, Lester has thought about that before and he was quick to answer.

"Black Seed."

Felix smiled and jotted it down.

Due to the black stone of knowledge on his forehead, he was able to gain more than he could have possibly wished for. For that, he had given himself that name.

Afterward, Lester walked towards the spacious part of the room where he would be tested for his capabilities.
