Chapter 7: The Plan

Jason POV

Some weeks have passed after Alexan wake up, that day was the happiest for us. I remember that after we hear his voice we get in my car and rush to the packhouse to see him. When we get there he was not connected to the machines and was breathing on his own. we rush to him and hug him, after letting him breathe Kelaiah explains to him what the doctor said about the baby. Later we get sure he was healed enough so he can be there at the birth of the baby. It was days after the baby was born a healthy boy and we love him so much like he is our son. I in my way to look for Cecil to get an update on his recovery "Hey Cecil, how is Alexan right now?" I ask her when I open her office door. "Oh hi Beta, he has a full recovery, right now is in the garden with Kelaiah and the baby" she answers. "That fantastic news, thanks again Cecil," I tell her "Is nothing Beta I was doing my job" she answers back, I leave her office to the garden to greet them. I found them near the pond we have in the garden of the hospital. "Hey, guys" I greet them they look at me and smile "Hey Jason" Kelaiah greets back and I smile and wave at her "Hey Jay" Alexan greets back too. I sit beside them and look at baby Michael he looks so cute and I will protect him like my own pup. "How is the baby doing?" I ask, Kelaiah raises her eyes and looks at me "He is doing good eating a lot" Kelaiah said, "That's good, and is letting you both sleep okay?" I ask "Yes thankfully he sleep all night" Alexan answer. I smile and look at him he looks better now than when he was the day he wakes up. "How are you feeling?" I ask him, he looks at me and smiles -god that smile just with that he can melt me- "Yes I'm feeling good no pain at all" he answers "Okay that good" I said.

Right now I'm debating telling him about them or not. I don't know how he will take it. But I need to tell him sooner or later because the dragons are still demanding an audience with Alexan. And I think Kelaiah needs to know about this to she has the right to know. I take a deep breath "Um guys I need to talk to both of you about something that happens when Alexan was unconscious" I say to them the first one to look was Kelaiah with curiosity and worry in her eyes. They look at me with all of their attention and I take that as to continue. "Okay while you were unconscious two persons come looking for you Alexan," I tell "Huh? looking for me?" he asks. I look at them and took another deep breath " They were Dragon shifters" I respond to him and look at his face. He looks at me confuse and Kelaiah was the same "Dragon shifters? and why they are looking for me?" he asks, I look at his face and only see curiosity about the information and I don't like this. "Well for what they tell us, supposedly you are the rightful heir to the throne," I tell them, they look at each other and then at me. "SAY WHAT!" both of them say together. I look at them and then to the stroller "Shh you will wake up the baby" I scold them they look at me then to the stroller "Sorry" both said to me, I look at them and continue " Yes like I said you supposedly are the rightful king of the dragons" I say looking at them.

Alexan looks at us with concern "But I'm not royalty" Alexan says looking at us, "Yes I know but they explain that the late king has a child outside of the kingdom and I presume is your mother" I say, and his face change to one of understanding like this information clear a question he has a lot. "My grandfather was a dragon? that explains a lot about my mother's temper hehe," he says giggling "Wait you knew this?" I ask him to he just look at me and shake his head "Nah I had my suspicions about it, hell I'm a wolfdrake obviously my mother was a dragon but never have a way to confirm it until now" he said, "That makes sense if you put it like that" I say then Kelaiah speak for the first time "So what you gonna do now Alen" she ask him and what I see in his eyes I will not like what he gonna say. "Jason arranges a meeting with them," he said -yep I knew I will not going to like it, he wanted to talk to them- "Babe I don't think is a good idea, I don't trust them," I say "I know, but I need to talk to them and know what is happening," he says "But-" he interrupted me "I understand your concern and appreciate it but I don't trust them either, I just want to hear what they have to say then I decide what to do next," he said to me looking at my eyes. There I see that there was no way I will convince him to not do it and with a sigh "Fine I will contact them they probably answer quickly" I say.

He looks at me and nods in acknowledgment "That would be good the sooner the better, that way we can get this done fast" Alexan say, I look at him and nod "Okay I begin immediately" I say, he just laughs " Haha I want to finish this soon but no need to do it now stay here with us and the baby" he said while holding the baby, he comes near me and offer me to hold him "Here want to hold him" he asks I look at the little guy and melt "Can I?" I ask and both of them nod "Of course silly" Kelaiah says to me with a smile, I then proceed to hold him with so much care "Careful don't shake him too much he just eat" Kelaiah tells me and I just froze in place. "Hahaha he just froze in place now kily," Alexan says while laughing. Kelaiah looks at him and shakes her head "Don't laugh at him you mean" she said giggling "Hehe sorry couldn't help it, sorry Jay" Alexan apologizes I look at him and just smile now a little more at ease that the baby didn't wake up. Then I look at the little guy again and see that he opened his eyes "Oh he wakes up what I do?" I ask in a panic "First calm down and he will be fine" Alexan tells me and I just do that and take a deep breath to calm down. The little one looks so much to Alexan and has from Kelaiah. "Hey little one how are you, I'm Jason papas mate," I say to him he just looks at me and moves his little hands "Well that makes you daddy I guess hahaha," Alexan say laughing I look at him and then to Kelaiah that was giggling "Daddy?" I say confuse "Well he will call you that or Jason that depends on him when he gets older" Alexan explains -hmm now that he says it like that makes sense- I thought.

I then look at them "So, guys what are you gonna do later?" I ask them and Kelaiah looks at Alexan and then to me "Nothing maybe go to the mall and Alen need to go to his job to talk about his absence this past month, I try to pass it like he was hospitalized but we don't know how we going to get the paper that proves it" Kelaiah tells me with concern in her eyes. I look at her and smile " that easy talk with Cecil she is a certificated doctor and the one that takes care of his case" I say Alexan looks at me and facepalm himself "Oh that right thanks, I will talk to her later thanks babe" Alexan respond and then kiss me a simple kiss but one that sends shivers to my back. "Any way I tell Cecil to make the paper you need Alexan, she tells me is not gonna take much time for it," I tell Alexan he look at me and smile "Oh okay thanks babe" - god that smile gonna be the end of me- "How about we go to the mall and later you can get the paper and go to your job?" I suggest.

"Yeah that a good idea," Kelaiah said and we look at Alexan. "Yeah let's go" he answers and begins to stand up. "Ok let's go in my car," I say "I don't think is a good idea, you don't have the platform for Michael's car seat" Alexan explains and he is right I need to buy one for the future if something happens. "Oh yeah, you are right then let go in your car" I suggest. We get to the car and Alexan gets Michael inside and Kelaiah gets in the back with him, while I get in the passenger seat and Alexan will drive. I'm a little worried about him driving but he assures me that he is feeling fine and that he can drive. We leave the packhouse and enter the main street to the forest and out of the barrier to their part. After a couple of hours, we get to the mall and they put the car seat in the stroller and we enter the mall and walk for a bit. We enter different stores looking for things for the baby, we end up buying a lot of clothing and shoes for him I buy a car seat for my car so I can help them with Michael if they need to. Later we go and eat something and continue walking in the mall I buy some clothes for myself and Alexan while he buys some from Kelaiah. We were there for like 3 hours then leave so Alexan can get the papers for Cecil and have time to go to his job and deliver them.
