A new future with a glowing light

As the sun ras quietly entered the small house making it known that it was morning.

"Nathan," whispered a soft voice."Come on wake up we have to go," continued his mother. hearing the gentle voice he slowly woke up and looked at her.

"Where are we going mama," he sleepily said while he stood up."Our new home," she happily said while putting his clothes on the bed. Without questioning his mother he puts on the clothes and heads out the door. When he reached the stirs he was welcomed by the smell of waffles, bacon, strawberries, and maple syrup.

"Nat," said Nana Mia."Come and eat you have a long journey ahead of you." Nathaniel didn't even hesitate and made his way to the dining table and ate as much as he could. After eating their breakfast Nathaniel adn his mother left the nanas house and embarked on the journey to their new house.

After a couple of hours to finally made it to the outskirts of the village and found the secluded house in the middle of the forest. The duo entered the house which was already furnished and had everything they needed.

"Is this our new house," said Sophia with a faint smile.

For the next 9 years, the due lived peacefully. Sophia worked as a waitress in a restaurant in town. On the other hand, Nathaniel stayed at home doing house chores and working on his magic.

During those years his mother eventually told him about his father and the power he had. His mother was also a mage but she wasn't as strong as most mages due to fact that her mother was human.

Nine years Later

As Sophia was on her way home and Nathaniel was waiting for her a bright glow of light appeared out of nowhere. It almost seemed like a star fell from the sky. Seeing the bright light Sophia knew what was going she ran home as fast as she could. Nathaniel who also saw the light remembered his mother's warning and ran a fast as he could to their hiding place.

Sophia who just made it home looked around for any signs of intruders. She slowly made her way inside the house, when went and checked the bedrooms. She went into Nathaniel's room and was saw the figure of a beautiful woman dressed in white who was holding a baby.

The woman looked at Sophia and smiled, weirdly she felt like she had already viewed the lady.

Then remembered the warning given to her by the high priest.

"Don't let the light deceive you," Sophia quickly turned around and left the room running outside when she saw her son being taken away by sliding lights.
