<Dumbledore's POV>

When we were informed by the two young girls, Hermione and Daphne about Oz's fight with the troll and two black cloaked beings I felt myself wondering what we would turn up to.

The boy is definitely hiding his true prowess deep down, I can sense it. Although that ring masks his core I feel as though he is more trained than initially expected. His intelligence already shook me the day he entered my office for the first time but if I confirm that he also has the power to back his claims up then I feel as though my plans will change quickly.

That boys smarts did impress me that day though. He stood up to me with confidence and no fear, as if he knew I couldn't act against him. If I tried hard enough though im sure I could get rid of him if he was truly in the way however him being a descendant of Merlin gave him the security that stayed my hand from even doing anything. After all if the descendant of Merlin were found to be attacked or killed in Hogwarts then I would be blamed for the transgression. A clever plot indeed...

While thinking of the boy and his wits we eventually stumbled upon the hallway that lead directly to the bathroom in which the poor trio of Harry, Hermione and Daphne were attacked. Just as we arrived however, A roar shook the corridor making all the other teachers flinch. While they were recovering I took that moment to look down the hallway to see a dementor near the bathroom.

Those vicious fiends... I've always loathed them. Such beings have no right existing considering how inherently bad they are. Its honestly a shock as to why the ministry still keeps such disgusting creatures employed.

The second I spotted the creature I sent my own Patronus to completely banish it. Although dementors have a core of negative emotions those cores are only temporary storages, like pouches. A dementor cannot truly die after all as its Amortal. I'm sure however now it has dispersed, its ash strewn across the floor, it'll find its way back to Azkaban one way or another... I will have to take up all these offensives with fudge though...

Turning the corner we ran into Oz who was sat on top of the Troll that was mentioned by the two girls. He seemed to be catching his breath after what seemed like a prolonged fight. Looking at him I felt a smile slowly creep onto my face.

This boy, he was indeed someone who would be useful in the long run. Being able to kill a troll at age 12 and also fend of dementors is an incredible feat.

As I was basking in this revelation, Severus spotted a dementors ashes to the side of the hallway near a wall. This suggested that Oz had indeed managed to take out one of the dementors himself. Seeing this I recalled the roar we heard while coming up to this hallway, that roar was no troll roar or dementor roar, it was a dragons roar.

Thats when it dawned on me truly. The boy had actually casted a corporeal Patronus! and it was a dragon no less! Such talent was truly impressive...

As I looked at this boy who was fighting for rights of the trolls corpse with Snape an idea formed in my mind.

Although he's clearly of a defiant nature, there's one sure way I can make him come under my banner...

Ill have to directly force him.

Oz had finally arrived to Dumbledore's office yet again. Feeling a weird sense of deja vu, he stepped inside.

Locking eyes with Fawkes again Oz stared the bird up and down.

'I don't know when, I don't know how but your feathers and tears will be mine eventually you fiery chicken...'.

Chuckling to himself at this thought Oz walked further into the office as he spotted Dumbledore on the upper balcony looking down at him.

"You've finally arrived Oz... How was Harry? Is he doing okay?".

Oz looked up at Dumbledore and let out an exasperated sigh.

"The boy is doing fine... It seems as though this little experience has changed him in some way though. A dementor attack is something thats incredibly rare after all and it happened to him while he's only 11".

Dumbledore listened to Oz while stroking his beard.

"Yes... Dementors attacking inside Hogwarts is alarming indeed. I've always hated those creatures, disgusting things that feed off of emotions. I will be launching a full scale inquiry about why such things were even here at the school and not at Azkaban as soon as I can gather the wizengamot".

Oz looked up at Dumbledore with a confused look on his face.

'He's being awfully polite and considerate this time round... asking about Harry's condition and then even instantly jumping on the ball to inquire about the dementors...'.

Walking down the stairs Dumbledore started to speak again:

"Last time you were here Oz your intelligence and cunning surprised me greatly. Although I didnt agree with everything you said to me the vast majority of what you said was true and hit closed to home on many accounts".

While monologuing Dumbledore was making his way to his desk to sit down.

"This time however, seeing what you did in that hallway, I was truly impressed by your magical prowess. I know you're a descendant of Merlin but many descendants don't live up to the monikers of their forefathers. You however have to a T".

Finally sitting down, Dumbledore stared at Oz deeply.

"After all I saw your Patronus. A dragon wasn't it? Such a unique Patronus shows that you're indeed a wizard with a ton of potential and talent...".

As Oz was listening to this old man talk he started to realise a pattern. He again felt a serious sense of deja vu.

"Oz... Wont you let me tutor you in the future?".
