Chapter 3 Words of Possession "I shall take you and I will study you!" Kailey said desperatelyas these words rang out in the laboratory the witch hat started backing away in fear as if it had found a predator. "Hold on wait a second little girl you do not understand the power behind these words of possession," the witch hat said in trepidation "Words of possession?" Kailey said quizzically "Words of possession is a form of contract that can only used on special legendary grade and above objects, or objects that have souls trapped inside them. Furthermore objects that have Words of possession placed on them cause any who try to wield the object other than the one who has contracted with the object, to be punished by the object either by cursing, permanent scarring, or by dismemberment of the persons limb." The witch hat said proudly "Woah that's some serious punishments." Kailey said in a slight tinge of fear "Indeed" the witch hat said sagely "So what must I do to use these words of possession?" "Forcefully speak in a way as to make clear to any beings surrounding the world of the object you wish to have possession over." "After a few seconds the witch hat realized it was saying how to use the words of power, it then understood it had made a terrible mistake." "Heh, so I only need to say something like, 'Oh deities and beings us mortals can not comprehend, I shall take over the previous owners will, so shall this object before me is to become mine until the day my soul no longer lingers in rebirth." As Kailey spoke the words of possession jokingly with no sense of seriousness, the area around the witch hat began to glow with spiritual essence causing the soul of the witch hat to be brought forth into the open, as if sensing danger the soul of the witch hat began speedily darting left and right to arrive in front of Kailey, it did not want to be mistaken as a soul without a body by the hellhounds sent from the underworld with the mission of retrieving souls without hosts or bodies. Kailey's own soul shot out from her body to meet with the soul of the witch hat hurriedly creating a sanctuary for the fleeing soul Kailey's soul rapidly began creating a temporary domicile for the witch hat's soul until the ritual contract was completed. As Kailey's soul finished creating a domicile for the witch hat's soul, the soul of the witch hat entered Kailey's soul.
