Bromance

The weekend passed by quickly with family events and meeting up with friends. Xue Changmin couldn't stop thinking about that girl, though. His mind would keep finding its way to her lovely face. Occasionally, the images of her soaked blouse would also pop up in his head. And he would find his face flushed in embarrassment and felt a stir in his lower private parts.

He was interrupted by Wang Xuan, "Bro! Who are you thinking about? You're blushing and your eyes are lost in space. Did you find a girl so soon?"

"What are you talking about, everyone knows he's not over her. Why do you think he disappeared overseas for two years before coming back two years ago?" Xia Huanting spoke his opinion.

"You guys don't know anything. I'm over her. She left me and I've moved on. She's long gone in my heart. Don't you remember me leaving the clubs with those girls last year?" Chang tried to defend himself. He really didn't feel anything for her anymore. But he also didn't feel much for any other girl either.

"How come I only remember you leaving with me?" Xuan replied confused.

"Are you guys tell me something right now? Are you guys coming out of the closet to me?" Huanting was speechless. How could he not know what was going on with his two friends?

"What are you talking about?!" Chang shouted.

"Brother Ting, how could you say that?! I don't like men, I'm into women! I only care for you guys like brothers. How could you take my love and it twist it? Is bromance dead?!" Wang Xuan whined. How could his brothers think of him like this? He could not accept it!

"Hahahaha! I was just kidding. I know you're not like that. Not with the way you ogle my little sister you perv. Don't even think about her!" Huanting slapped the back of Xuan's head. And he pouted even more. But he knew his little sister was his bottom line, he wouldn't dare do anything to her.

"Speaking of which, how is your little sister, Ting? Is she still head over heals for that jack*ss?" Change asked Huanting.

"No. He just announced his engagement with some other dirt rag." They could feel the anger oozing from Huanting's presence as soon as the topic was brought it. Chang decided to drop the topic immediately.

"Oh. Just forget I said anything about it. I haven't checked useless news in a while, so I was just curious. Isn't it her birthday next month?" Chang felt bad so he thought if it was her birthday, he could just get her a nice gift.

"Yeah, we're planning it right now and my mom secretly wants to matchmake her that night."

"She doesn't know about it?"

"No. Mom made me swear not to tell her, otherwise she would matchmake me as well."

"Her name is Biqing, right? I want to make sure to get the name right on the gift." Chang couldn't mess up twice in front of the big tiger protecting his sister tiger.

Next thing he knew, he found a shoe being thrown right at his face! He managed to dodge it last second. "Idiot! Her name isn't Biqing! Since you haven't bothered to remember her name after all these years, I'll let you suffer under her punishment!" Huanting's rage flared up again and he stormed out of the private bar room. "Xuan, you better not tell him either! I'll wring you like a used towel if you do!"

Xuan looked at Chang with a helpless smile and shrugged his shoulders, "Can't help you bro, you dug your own grave." Xuan laughed his butt off by himself. Before he could catch his breath, Huanting opened the door for the room again.

"I forgot to tell you guys, you and your family are both on my mom's secret list. So, tread carefully." With that, he slammed the door shut and left the bar.

Feeling that the mood was gone, Wang Xuan and Xue Changmin both left the bar and headed home. As Chang kept trying to remember Xia Huanting's sister's name, he just couldn't. He decided to get on his phone and do some research. The Xia's had so much information online it took a while before he got to the current generation.

'What? Xia Biming? That's her name? No. It couldn't be the same person, right? I must be crazy.' He clicked on a link to her biography where he was shocked that the portrait of her was the same girl he was thinking of. He continued reading her biography to learn that she was really talented. She's turning 24, but already has a successful company under her. She built it from the grounds herself too. Although it's a partnership company under Xia textiles, she managed it all by herself. Everything went through her.

This of course, fascinated Chang even more. He clicked on more photos of her and couldn't stop himself from looking through them. 'Why am I being such a creep? I hardly know the girl. And Huanting would kill me.' He put his phone down and tried to sleep. He fell asleep, thinking of Xia Biming once again.

When morning came, he got up and went downstairs for breakfast with his family. He stayed at the Xue mansion last night instead of his own villa. His grandmother seemed suspiciously happy. She was even humming some happy tunes as she served Chang's grandfather.

"Is today a special day grandma?" Chang couldn't help but ask.

"I guess you could say that, my handsome grandson. The housekeeper just gave me the mail and I found something interesting in it. You know that friend of yours? Xia Huanting?" Grandmother Xia chided happily.

"Yes, what about him? Did he manage to get a good business deal?" Chang was really curious why his grandma was so excited.

"Nope. We just received an invitation from their family. It's for his younger sister's birthday celebration next weekend. There were also a few extra slips of additional information. Including her education, talents, accomplishments, how she's eligible for marriage, and a picture of her! She's grown to be quite stunning. We must go and try to matchmake the two of you!" His grandmother was determined not to let such a great girl slip through her hands. Especially after the last money-grubbing girl broke her grandson's heart. She must work extra hard.

Caught off guard, Chang choked on his breakfast. Left speechless, he could only say a light prayer for himself. 'Dear Lord, please go easy on me. I don't know who's going to be scarier. The brother tiger, the tigress herself, or my own family?'
