VWOOOM! FIUSSSSSH!

Space shriveled and hummed for a brief moment before spitting out two people. One in a protective field, while the other crashed into the ground with how abrupt the ejection was.

"Should've disabled the form-shift before activating quantum-shifting." He complained as he massaged his head to calm the throbbing headache he was feeling.

While Janet was stunned to be back in the human world, Vision rushed towards the monitor and checked the time and date, only sighing in relief after realizing that he was only gone for two hours.

'Did I ride the nearest time stream because I was in a quantum form-shift? It is the nearest thing to a mutual relationship I have with the Quantum Realm after all.' He pondered.

He disabled the barrier around Janet and went to check on Ava and found out that she was still soundly asleep.

"I'm guessing you want to see your family?" He said while turning to the other audience in the room.

"I would very much love to, but… how long?" She asked with a quivering voice, scared of what the answer might entail.

"28 years." Vision said crisply. "It's not exactly a good track record but hey, at least they are still waiting for you."

She hadn't even met them yet and she was already in emotional distress. The string woman who wanted to go against Kang was now trembling in passionate fear at the thought of meeting the family she was separated from for almost three decades.

Without saying anything else, Vision once again wrapped her in a protective film and flew out the window to return the original Wasp to the Pym family.

After what could only be explained as an heart wrenching bittersweet emotional episode that'll put any reality TV shows and K-Drama to shame with their poor performance, Vision was finally able to detangle himself from honest yet gratuitous atmosphere of the Pym household and immediately took his leave before someone else drew him in for another hug.

[The technopath signal you put a tag on registered some movements and was last traced to be somewhere around Manhattan]

"Seriously? Not even a shut-eye?" Vision let out an irritated sigh and reviewed the information on it before ultimately deciding to check it out.

Not even spending more than five minutes after returning to the Compound, he left towards where the ping was last registered.

He would admit that the whole debacle with Kang put him on edge even before he entered the Quantum Realm but despite everything, he ended up killing Kang the Conqueror, something that was bound to bring him facing odds against some outrageously powerful group.

He had been playing it safe for some time now, waiting for something to happen before he takes action, always reacting and being passive in acting.

Compared to the Kang he just faced, what was the government or even some unruly scheming mutants?

'Break his flimsy firewall.'

With a mental command, his technopathic conscience instantly shattered the firewalls and security the technopath had set up for their systems network.

They tried forcefully locking me out of the system or even isolating my movement but everything they did was laughable to me because it was like trying to tell a fish not to swim inside of a part of the river you marked as your own – A completely fruitless.

A lanky man with a low fade cut was sitting in front of a monitor playing a video game when all of a sudden alarms started blaring across the room, forcing him to quit the game and hack away at his keyboards.

His face paled almost immediately as he started receiving multitudes of notifications and warnings about his network being hacked at an impossible speed.

"We're having an attack!" He shouted to gain the attention of the others hidden in this base while his teeth clattered against their numerous siblings as he saw the entire monolith of information he had spent years building being speared repeatedly with absolutely precision.

While the others in the base were wondering how to respond to such an attack, he put his hands on the screen of his monitor and closed his eyes and dived into the digital world – a beautiful world of building blocks made up of zeroes and ones.

… but now that beautiful digital wonder was nothing more than a nightmare to him as he saw a yellow code he couldn't read for the life of him, a first, systematically tearing through his life's work.

'Leader is going to kill me.' He came to an astute deduction and panic gripped his fragile heart twofold, spurring him further to try to slow the foreign code. Inside the digital world, he could be said to be only short of a god given the freedom that you could anything you wanted in here… or at least that's what he thought.

The very second he attacked the machine code, he found his movements restricted which was the height of impossibility inside the digital world.

He almost screamed out in abject horror when he found that the code was actually trying to hack him too.

He pulled on everything he had to pull himself out of that death space before he got eaten.

°°°°°°

Not knowing he had severely traumatized someone, he mentally continued to break through everything and anything in his way until the entire network of the Brotherhood was laid bare in front of him but he did not have the chance to go through as he approached the place the signal was sent from.

Not even caring for niceties and making light talk, he crashed through the roof and also the next three floors until he landed inside a full of some panicking mutants while some were just a decision away from baring their fangs.

He scoured the entire building but didn't pick up on Magneto who he was planning on confronting but that didn't matter all that much.

"Who are you?" Someone shouted but Vision just ignored him as his eyes scanned everyone and crossed referenced them with what he had just gotten from their network.

"Hey, you deaf or what!?" One man walked up to him with a defiant look on his face only for Vision to instantly identify him and someone who could instantly create clones of himself.

The man known as the Multiple Man, or Jamie Madrid, fell to the ground like a puppet free from his strings, after experiencing a forceful mental shutdown.

That immediately lit a fuse in all their heads as they no longer cared about who the stranger was and immediately attacked him, only for them to have Vision start flinging them around like teddy dolls in a pillow fight, stopping only short of killing them or seriously maiming them.

As he was about to hit another one, he nimbly dodged to the side only to have someone crash into where he once was.

The boy was entirely black, as in void of all light, as solar flares danced around his body.

Sunspot.

"Who the hell do y-"

Roberto Da Costa's words were cut short as he felt his windpipe blocked as a thick heavy hand grabbed his throat and threw him out of the building just the same way he came in.

He could sense some incoming mutants from outside the building, no doubt reinforcements, or maybe they went on an errand.

Having taken care of everyone here, also knowing the real reason why they were here today. So if someone were to ask Vision right now if he hates the Brotherhood of Mutants then his answer would be yes because they actually were caring less and less about the who race and more about themselves. Trying to carry out a terrorist act was not something to be excited about.

Landing outside, he saw two other people who were running towards the hideout but stopped as they saw him, only to resume their charge with renewed vigor.

Sunspot wasn't here due to how far Vision's punch had sent him flying so Vision was now against two mutants; one who could shoot out shockwaves from his baby while the other could change his limbs into long electric whips.

The first to get it was the one with the whip who tried to bind Vision, a very wrong mistake which he quickly learned as Vision just tugged him forward and used the back of his hand to hit him to the sides, effectively knocking him out with one hit.

The one with the shockwave ability stopped his charge and moved backwards to get some space between them and released a loud wave from his mouth that destroyed everything in its path only for it to hit against Vision's barriers.

He tried again but it was the same thing and was about to try for the third time when he lost sight of Vision before his own view started shifting until he crashed into the ground.

"That just leaves one." Vision muttered as he stared in one direction that had a burning black dot that was getting larger as it came closer.

"Where's Magneto?" Vision asked Sunspot who just flew back. Hearing Vision's question, anger and embarrassment washed through him at the blatant disregard only for his innate ego to talk control. "How about you try to beat it out of me?"

Vision only looked at him as if he was a fool but nevertheless aimed to attack. "Much obliged."
