The Villainess?
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Chapter 20: Legend has it...
From the perspective of the grand duke:
As soon as Ryan was out of earshot, the butler walked inside the living room looking at the duke. "Have you found out why Camilla was there?" I asked. "I checked the records secretly and found out that the young miss was not entered into their notebook. There are no records about her. I've got a feeling someone deleted it before we arrived there," replied the butler solemnly. The grand duke slammed the table in frustration and muttered "All the clues end here. Did you check who sent us that little tip saying Camilla was in that orphanage,". The butler shook his head and bowed watching his master's anger rise. I quickly walked outside to cool down.
Last month His Majesty and Her Majesty had received a dream that their daughter Camilla was in danger. Usually, when they have a dream they would consult the dream magician to find out what that dream meant. However, they came and found me after what the magician said. I have never seen them so scared. The monarchs were said to be a descendant of Princess Skylar and Princess Scarlet. The two duos had godlike power so any dreams the monarch have are said to be true.
Princess Skylar and Princess Scarlet were the founders of Thedo Kingdom. History states that the Thedo kingdom was built from towns and villages across the landscape. It's a well-known story of how they arrived here. Legend has it that Princess Skylar had water power and Princess Scarlet had fire powers. They were sent down to Earth to create peace among the countries. However, things turned the opposite way. At first, they ruled and governed the kingdom together, they were fair and just with punishments and rewards, so everyone liked them. However, the problem rises when the two sisters fell in love with the same man- a commoner. His name wasn't well known but the two fought over him and eventually, Skylar died. Leaving Scarlet alone, after Skylar's death she regretted it immediately but what was done is done. She could not undo the damage she had created. Her one and only sister had died at her hands. Scarlet never ended up with that man as he killed himself after finding out that Skylar had died. Perhaps the man had long chosen to be with Skylar. Princess Scarlet became Queen Scarlet after her sister died. History has it that she married another man later on. They had 2 sons together. Both were born with fire powers. Throughout generations, the water power has been lost since Princess Skylar died. And that was 10 generations ago. Princess Camilla and her brothers are part of the 11 generations. It's said that Princess Skylar and/or Princess Scarlet would together be reborn into the 11 generations. But who knows if that was true as it was just a myth.
With this in mind, I had to carefully select the tight-lipped ones to find out everything about the disappearance of the young princess. However, during the investigation, someone had sent a tip telling us that Camilla was in an orphanage South of the capital. So we had to search every single orphanage just to find her.
After some time we've finally found the right orphanage. At glance, you could tell that Camilla was the daughter of His Majesties. Camilla's physical appearance resembles His majesty like all of his children however her attitude resembles Her Majesty more. She was stubborn, kind and quite naive. But you could tell she had a good heart even after living in those circumstances. They were horrible living conditions which is why I had to ask John - the butler to find any information about it. However, nothing was found. I refuse to believe that. And I also adopted Damien after noticing that Camilla seemed to like him and also he reminded me of my late wife. Kathleen also had red eyes and silver hair. Everyone thought that she would be a curse to anyone who married her, but for me, she was nothing but joy.
After a while, I decided to head back inside and smelt something delicious. I walked near their kitchen to find Camilla cooking.
