The Villainess?
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Chapter 19: Who is she?
Meanwhile, a commotion was happening downstairs. The grand duke had held Ryan back on purpose and Damian smartly guarded the bathroom just to allow them to talk.
"Who was that girl?" asked Ryan. "Which girl?" The grand duke asked foolishly. Ryan rolled his eyes and replied "The girl who woke me up," he replied. "Oh her, she's just my maid," brushed off the duke. "The maid just happens to have those special features..." he muttered. The grand duke signalled towards the butler and soon everyone cleared out of the room. The grand duke stood up and asked "What did you see?". Ryan smirked and replied "She was really pretty. She has a cute face. Blonde hair near her waist and golden eyes. I couldn't see what she was wearing though, her black cloche was covering it. And it just so happens that the royal family's characteristics are blonde hair and golden eyes. And we all know that His majesty would never have cheated on Her Majesty they spent so much effort just to get together. And it is well known that Her Royal Highness Princess Camila was taken when she was a year old. So we put two and two together. It doesn't take a genius to figure out things,". The grand duke stood up and clapped his hands. "Well done," he praised "You know you should work in my knight squad. I'm sure you would do wonderful with your careful observation,". Ryan blushed but shrugged. "Now where do we go from this?" questioned the grand duke. "We could forget anything that just happen I suppose. But I do need a ride back to the capital,". The grand duke turned around and looked at him asking "Are you threatening me? You do realise that you've no proof,". Ryan stood up and shook her head. "I just really want to get home. I miss my parents. I'm sorry if that seemed like a threat,". The grand duke turned around and softened his face "I have got a good relationship with your father so I'm happy to offer out a lift but the little girl is our secret until the right time comes," the grand duke announced, "Go upstairs we leave tomorrow morning,". And with that Ryan went upstairs to see Damian sitting at the door of the bathroom glaring at him.

Damian POV:
When we arrived at the inn. I had ordered some food for myself and it came in a time frame of 20-30 mins. I was pretty hungry and luckily I was because I tasted the mushroom in the mac and cheese. Usually, they never put the mushrooms in mac and cheese and the grand duke had specifically said for there to be no mushrooms. I looked opposite and found Camilla almost taking a bite of the mushroom. So I had to immediately stop her. To be honest I don't know why I did that. Perhaps it's because I'm not as cruel to see a child dying when I could save her. I wasn't that heartless yet. Besides she's just a kid now. Maybe if I teacpatienceatient when she's young. She won't be as heartless in the future. Which is why I was quite shocked when the people died. Would this be considered an assassination? She's technically a princess although she hasn't received her title in this life yet.
When we went upstairs I headed for a room and not long later I heard Camilla screaming. I rushed to where the sound came from and saw a young boy standing up fully naked and Camilla turned the other way with her hands covering her eyes. Before I could make grasp the situation Camilla rushed out of the room and headed downstairs. At this moment the Grand Duke had already arrived. The boy was thrown a towel and was ordered to come downstairs after he was dressed.
I followed the Grand Duke I suppose I should call him father now. But that wouldn't take a long time to adjust to because I practically called him that last lifetime. And to me, my last life was a fell months ago. Anyways I followed Gr- Father downstairs along with his knights. I saw Camilla sitting on a stool drinking water as if nothing had happened however I could see her reddish face. Was she embarrassed about what just happened? How cute... Wait...What? How could I just call one of the most heartless women cute? I must be out of my mind...
I listened patiently as Camilla began to retell her story. The young man in the bathroom had been unconscious and she was just trying to wake him up when he jolted straight up and she happened to have seen his whole body. It was a misunderstandiitst it's finest.
At that moment the young man came downstairs which interrupted our conversation. He was a few inches taller than me. He had jet black hair with black eyes, his eyes looked as if it was soulless. Perhaps that was why I lowered my guard around him. However, as soon as I heard that man introduce himself as Aiden Ravert. I immediately busted with fury. This was the man that tried courting my beloved. However, why were his personalities so different? I remember that disgusting man to be weak, frail and quiet which was why Eveline talked to him. She promised it was out of sympathy and I believed her. When the man announced his real identity I was beyond happy. Adrian Ravert wasn't gonna get anywhere near Eveline this lifetime if I could help it.
When the conversation ended I walked upstairs with Camilla and offered to guard her bathroom door out of kindness. She looked a bit shocked but still agreed. This was all just a kind gesture. Remember that Damian. You're only treating her with respect and nothing else.
