Chapter 22 (Message Unreceived)

"Your reassurance is killing me...anyways where and what is it this time?" he asks

"I don't know that where it is, but I can hear a weird beeping sound getting louder and louder," she replies.

"Beeping sound? *Yamato realizes* You dumbhead, it's not some enemy, it's my alarm clock telling me to go to hell." he sighs.

"Alarm what? So it's like a device that tells about danger?" she asks with wonder.

"Precisely not, it's telling me to go to school," he replies

"Oh...SO GET UP GO TO SCHOOL WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" she annoyingly shouts...

Yamato with a sleepy face gets up and washes his face. He then gets ready for school.

As he was about to get out of his house, he once again felt the overwhelming and strong presence.

This time, it was heavier.

"This again? How about I go and look for it now. I mean I have trained well for the past few days." Yamato wonders.

"Nope, not gonna happen. The person is probably like level 9 so it's way out of your league. So just head straight to your school. We will look over it later." she cautiously replies.

"Alright then. But I will look over this case soon," he says as he heads out for his school.

*IN THE DUNGEON*

"C'MON YOU DUMB SPIRIT STOP TELLING HIM TO NOT COME HERE IT LEAKS A LOT OF MY ENERGY TO SEND THE SIGNAL." the general screams in anger.

"I wanted to save this for later but I guess I have to use them as the messengers now," she says as she looks at the stone golems she made.

"Alright guys, RISE."

The golems stood up and started going to the entrance to find Yamato and bring him inside the dungeon.

"I hope he defeats them, I put the message inside them and the dumb spirit can read it if she has a brain." she sighs

*AT YAMATO'S SCHOOL*

"WHERE WERE YOU? YOU HADN'T COME TO SCHOOL FOR 5 DAYS." Yuna shouts at Yamato

"That day you left without explaining anything and didn't contact me days. That worried me you know" she continues with a slightly shy face.

"Ahh, I was just tr-- I mean I was just resting because I wasn't feeling so well," he replies.

"So you were asleep for 5 days?" Yuna asked.

"Yeah." Yamato stupidly replies.

"That's the dumbest excuse but that will do for now," Yuna replies with a grin.

"Yeah, I guess," Yamato mutters.

"Good going big boy." Akari teases Yamato.

"Anyways let's go to the class or we will get scolded by the old man," Yuna says as she grabs Yamato by his hand and drags him to the class.

*OUTSIDE*

The golems have reached the outside and are now dragging themselves towards the school, destroying anything that they come across.

The area is becoming a mass of destruction and there is ruckus everywhere.

The golems are slowly chasing Yamato, which basically means more trouble.

After 3 hours.

*PZZT*

A string passed through Yamato's mind

"Did you too sense that Akari?" he asks

"Yeah, the presence is dull though, maybe because it's far. Anyways I'll do a quick search that what it is," she replies.

"Yes, please do."

After 30 seconds, Akari says.

"They are golems. 'Stone' golems to be more accurate."

"Oh, and why are they here?" Yamato asks.

"Well it's the usual I guess," she replies.

"What's the difficulty level?" he asks again

"Let me take a look.....Oh..." she stops.

"What?" Yamato asks

"They are....basic level. Like even you can kill them in 10 mere seconds with your swords" she replies

"And they are sent by the kings too?" he asks

"The user is different. That's suspicious," she replies.

"Anyways so how destructive are they?" Yamato asks

"In our world, they were like guards of houses. They could kill a wolf in seconds. So maybe not that destructive." she replies.

"And what about this world," he asks again.

"Well, they can take out a heavy firearm easily I guess," she replies with relief

"Oh god, I can't imagine the look outside. I am going to stop them ok?" Yamato says

"And how will you get out of this class?" she asks

"Leave that to me. Just increase my body temperature to 100 celsius for a bit." he replies

"Okay I'll increase it"

Yamato stands up and starts to fake coughs.

"What happened mister Matsume? his teacher asks.

"Sir I think I am having a fever. I am suddenly feeling so hot and coughing," he replies.

"Oh, come here let me check." his teacher tells.

Yamato comes near his teacher and when he put his hand on Yamato's forehead, his hand burnt

"That's too hot, are you sure that you are okay? Should I fix an appointment?" the teacher asks worriedly

"No no no need for that. Just let me go home, for now, I think I need rest." he replies

"Alright you can go." his teacher replies

"What happened Yamato?" Yuna asked as Yamato was leaving.

"I'll explain later," he replied

When he got out, all he could see was destruction everywhere.

"What the...YOu said it would be minimum!" he yells at Akari

"Well, I guess worlds really are different," she replies.

"Well, I guess I got to take care of them," Yamato said.

He then changed his appearance, put his mask on, and went directly towards the golems.

When he reached them, there were 3 of them coming at Yamato like they were created for this sole purpose.

"This is weird. Usually, golems mind their own business. Is someone using them?" Akari mutters.

"What?" Yamato asked

"Nothing. You just focus on the battle." Akari replied

"Oh I will." he said as he pulled the swords from his back.

He grabbed his swords in a reverse grip position and sliced through the first golem.

*SLICE*

"That was easy," he smirks

He then takes out the next one in the same way.

*SMASH*

"Two down one left. It's easier than I thought. It's mysteriously easy....which makes it weird." he mutters.

"I should take down the last one too." he continues.

"GWAAAAH"

he yelled as he reached for it but when he was halfway through, A voice from above came.

"NO, YOU DON"T!" a man said as he blocked Yamato's sword.

Yamato jumps back blocking the attack.

"What the. Who are you?" Yamato asks

"I am Galberd, The Knight of the King Of Mages," he replied.

"Be careful, i can sense huge power coming from him," Akari warns
