"How did you know about his secrets" Luke asked curiously before he continued,

"He guarded his notebook very carefully, I mean, when did you find the time where he left his notebook and skimmed through it"

"That's a trade secrets" Mikel grinned mysteriously before getting slapped to the head by Luke.

"Secrets my a*s.

Hurry, tell me. I want to know" Luke's eyes were filled with intense curiosity.

Mikel sighed and finally gave in.

"Two years ago when Magna hadn't been a focus of attention yet, he already started to write and draw something in his notebook.

As per usual, I was interested in what he was so invested in and I was also curio.."

"Nosy" Luke cut him.

"Do you still want to know?" Mikel looked at Luke, unsatisfied.

"Continue please, mister" Luke brush his hands flatteringly.

"Where am I again?

See, I am lost now" Mikel said, blaming Luke.

"You are curious" Luke supported.

"Yes, at that time I was curious and he wasn't as paranoia as he is now.

"How do you know he would comply?" Luke looked at Mikel

"Easy. This is the biggest secret in his life and he wouldn't let it out before he is ready for it." Mikel said while peeking at Magna sneakily, pity in his eyes.

"But when would he be ready? What if he decided to let the secrets out himself and sabotaged our plans, ruining our hard works and funds?"

"For the first question, the answer is 'Never'. He would never be ready and I knew it.

Everybody has a secret, romantically or not.

They already know that it's better for the intended person to know the truth but they rather not speak them out to maintain the so-called status quo.

Human is complicated" Mikel looked at the blackboard in front of the class absentmindedly.

He came back to his sense and looked at Luke while he grinned.

"As for the second question, he is not that courageous with his past actions.

He would just glared at the people that coming in his ways.

So it was a solid 70% chance and I really won, hahaha"

"So you gambled, you b*st*rd" Luke looked at Mikel angrily.

"But it worked, isn't it" Mikel shrugged.

"So what is the next phase" Mikel looked at Luke, serious this time.

"The main service for the hub would be 'the inquiry' " Luke said while deep in thought.

"Inquiry?"

"Yes, the hub would give them the chance to learn the secrets about anything that they wish to know and if the hub happened to know, it will appraise the price according to the effects it would make.

And I also think about trading secrets.

"Wow. You programmed it that advanced? I never knew such a model could be built so quickly" Mikel looked at Luke, full of praise.

Just don't let the school turn into warzone" Luke patted Mikel back confidently.

Luke said without giving Mikel any space to protest.

"Alright that's the plan then" Mikel just smiled wryly after he heard Luke summarized his plan.

Before Luke and Mikel could speak, they saw Magna left the room.

Luke and Mikel looked at each other, almost swearing before they both stood up slowly and went after him.

"I thought he would give it to someone in the class" Mikel whispered.

Luke didn't intend to say anything, his focus was totally on Magna and to prevent Magna from knowing that they both were stalking him.

If Magna managed to do something that would ruined the hub, all their efforts would gone to waste and it would further delay their operations even longer.

"Oh no, that's the president office" Mikel's face paled when he saw the direction they were going to.

"I thought you said he wouldn't dare" Luke looked at Mikel nervously.

"I don't know. May be he was desperate?" Mikel screamed silently at Luke.

When they saw that Magna actually walked pass the president office, they both heaved a sigh of relief and what they saw shocked them.

Magna actually gave the hub to Professor Patrick as his office was next to the President.

Their faces turned paled once again before they both turned back to the class hurriedly to prevent Magna from seeing them and getting suspicious.

"What do we do now?" Luke looked at Mikel.

Mikel thought deep and hard for more than five minutes before his eyes turned resolute.

"I have one.

But it's just a rumor.

I guess we have to bet on this one" Mikel looked at Luke.

"What is this about?" Luke asked Mikel curiously.

"It's about Professor Lana"
