Chapter 8, New Guests

In the Dragon realm,

In front of the Queen's Palace, two people are standing as they are waiting for someone.

One is 110 cm tall with short black hair, crimson eyes, and white smooth skin, beside him stood a bewitching woman that stood at 195 cm tall with long black hair that reaches her back and those attractive Crimson eyes of hers that could suck anyone who dares to keep staring at them with weak will power.

Those of course are the Dragon Prince and the Queen respectively.

It has been four years since I have been born, and now I can write, read and talk fluently without having problems.

Of course, my first few words had to be 'mama' and 'sister' to earn a few kisses and hugs from them.

I have spent those four years doing nothing except staying at the library reading books to deepen my knowledge about the Universe. I have always been a bookworm, and with nothing better to do except spend time with my mother and sister or sleep, so I decided to invest them in learning as knowledge is power here.

As for why I am not cultivating, the answer is pretty simple.

I cannot. Although I loathe the feeling of weakness in my body, in my first two lives, I was very strong in them compared to the people living in the world at the time, but I know I can never compare to the people of this Universe as when I look at my mother I could feel that she is above mortality, something Divine, but I couldn't get an answer from her about cultivation realm above Peak Mortality until I near the peak.

As for why I can't cultivate it is because my body's meridians are still undeveloped, So if I absorb Gin in my body that will result in crippling me before even starting my journey in this Universe.

Now, if you are wondering who would be worthy enough to make us the Prince and Queen of the Dragon realm wait for in front of the palace.

They must be someone with the same status as my mother, but if it was just that, my mother wouldn't have bothered to come out to welcome them as my mother should be one of the strongest in the Universe if you don't count the Hidden Monsters that always stay in seclusion.

The people that are visiting are friends of my mother even before she became queen, so naturally, she has to come out and welcome them.

Suddenly there was a sudden pressure that descended on the palace, but as soon it appeared, it also disappeared, Then there are three people that suddenly appeared before us, or more correctly a handsome man, a stunning woman, and a child of similar age to me.

The handsome man appeared to be in his mid-twenties with blonde hair, red eyes, and pale skin, while the woman with him have the same traits of having pale skin and red eyes, but she has white hair like the little girl she was carrying in a hug.

Those of course the characteristics of vampires.

If you see glowing red eyes, Then you should immediately run away unless you want your blood sucked dry or so I thought the vampires here are the same as my old world.

Of course, all of this is bullshit, Yes they drink blood, but that is only from their partners or the blood bags that are being sold in cities for vampires to use.

Now back to the three people, the man and the woman should be Virgil and Sylvia Noctis while the little girl's name is Emilia Noctis.

They are the Vampire King, Queen, and the little Princess.

As I was thinking about all of that,

"How are you doing Rebekah? We haven't seen each other for a hundred years" said Sylvia to my mother in a cheerful tone.

"Well, there had been a few things that had to be solved here so I couldn't leave. Then I gave birth to Alina and then to Kevin," replied my mother with a smile.

"That's why we brought our little daughter to get to be friends with little Kevin so they can become friends like their two older sisters and us when they grow up," said King Virgil from the said with a smile to join the conversation.

My mother seemed happy for seeing me going to make my first friend since I spent a lot of time alone when they are not around, she replied with a bigger smile "I guess Kevin would like to have someone of his age to play around with instead of staying all day long at the library".

"Well, we thought you might say that as we have the same problem here with Emilia," Replied Sylvia helplessly.

"Say hi to aunt Rebekah dear and introduce yourself," said Virgil to his daughter in a soft tone.

"Hi Queen Rebekah, I am Emilia Noctis," said Emilia in a confident tone that would should make people look at her seriously if not for her staying in her mother's embrace and having a face that would make whoever seen her speak like that think that she is as cute as kitty.

" Hi dear, you are like my daughter so you should call me aunt Rebekah without using the word Queen," said my mother to Emilia while laughing softly.

"You should introduce yourself Kevin and stop being lost in thought," said my mother while calling out to me.

That brought me from thinking of all the other staff, I knew that I had a bad habit of overthinking things and asking a lot of unnecessary stuff to myself when I am lost in my thoughts, well whatever for now I should introduce myself so my mother doesn't kill me.

"Oh yes, I am sorry. I always tend to be lost in thought. My name is Kevin Solaris. Pleased to make your acquaintance King Virgil, Queen Sylvia, and princess Emilia". I said in a slightly apologetic tone.

"No worries little Kelvin" replied to me King Virgil with a loud laugh.

"As dear said you shouldn't worry yourself with such a thing and you should call us aunt and uncle because we are family" replied aunt Sylvia in a mischievous tone.

I have no idea what did she mean by we are basically but I laughed it off as a joke or something like that.

Later I would regret not asking but well that is for the future me to regret not to the current me.

And like that after our greeting in front of the Palace, We headed inside for the adults to go to the study room of my mother while I took Emilia for a tour in the Palace to let the adults talk without us interrupting them.
