"Then what about with my cultivation" I decided to ask since apparently if my mother's analysis is correct which I am sure is, I will be able to fight 3 stages above mine.

"For now you should be okay but when you reach Peak Golden Core Realm, you will have to adventure and experience life-and-death battles in low-leveled Worlds or on one of the Continents floating in the Lower World.

"Hum? Aren't those Continents hard to pinpoint in the void?" I asked with a confused expression on my face.

"Yes, they are hard for ordinary cultivators but there are means for strong sects and people of similar power level close to mine or like mine to locate them easily"

"Why are they even hidden?"

"Because their Source is very useful for cultivators of the divine realm, as it has many uses and when one finds one of those Continents, if they are practising dark arts they would usually devour it not caring about the life on this small Continent," my mother said with a slightly serious tone.

Dark Arts, They are not people who use the darkness element or the like as there are a lot of demons and members of other races that have an affinity toward the darkness element, Dark Arts users are people who forsake any semblance of humanity even in this cruel world to do whatever they wanted by sacrificing innocents or devouring souls and bodies, or causing destruction and havoc everywhere.

There are a lot of users of Dark Arts but they remain hidden as not many in the Universe like to see them roaming freely before them.

As I remembered the information regarding Dark Arts here in this Universe, I remembered the Universe where I came from and remembered that even in my original world many dark mages loved to cause destruction in their wake and use necromancy with people's dead bodies.

I as Kevin am not a total villain but at the same time won't hesitate to do whatever it takes to achieve my goal, in normal time I wouldn't sacrifice innocents or kill without reason and if I have time to choose another way I will gladly do it, but if it was an urgent matter, I won't hesitate to raise my weapon to do the unspeakable.

Hypocrite, I may be seen but if it is for the safety of my loved ones like my mother, sister, and Emilia, People that I have gained in this life I won't hesitate to behave like a monster to achieve any goals.

As Kevin was affirming his mindset and strengthening his will in his mind. The only being to notice this resonance was the System that resided in Kevin's soul.

[I see, it has started, although weak, it will get stronger in the future] said the System to itself not allowing Kevin to hear it or feel anything strange, Kevin normally wouldn't have felt this strange reaction since he still hasn't connected with his soul.

As I lost myself in my thoughts like usual without noticing anything strange from my soul, my mother's voice brought me back from my thoughts.

"Little Kev, why are you lost in thought?" my mother asked while looking at me with a warm smile but I was sitting on her lap I couldn't see it clearly.

"Nothing mom, I was just thinking about the people that use dark arts to do their bidding."

"Are you not curious as to why they would use such methods?"

"Of course for power, people would do anything to get more power, it doesn't matter what method does it take as long as they receive the power that was not accessible to them before at the cost of other people's lives," I replied in a serious tone.

"How do you know something like that?" asked my mother with a raised eyebrow as she was curious how an 11-year-old child could give her an answer like that.

"Eh? From the books of course, I read a lot of stories in the library and history of the universe, there were a lot of fools that used Forbidden Arts to achieve their goals," I replied after thinking of an answer quickly as I can't just say 'Hey, I just dealt with a lot with this kind of mentality'.

Although Rebekah said that she would leave him alone in the place she is going to send him to, she is going to send people to shadow him and make sure nothing harms her baby in any way, because her love for him is way bigger than Kevin can even imagine.
