"Well, you got a point, better be safe than sorry," murmured Kevin to himself.

After spending a few hours checking his cultivation manual, he noticed a lot of information become clearer and more information about Chaos energy that he will be using more frequently in the future.

He noticed that some martial skills can only be used with pure Chaos energy but those skills are a bit away from him now since he doesn't have large reserves of Chaos energy in his body yet. As for the remaining skills, they can be used with a different kind of energy essence. As Chaos energy is all about unpredictability, destruction, creation, and all kind of forces but of course to wield this kind of power one has to have a thorough understanding of Chaos Law, as only wielding it without understanding what kind of power the user has will only lead to untold catastrophes that may or may not affect all living being in the area of person wielding Chaos energy.

That's why the system sealed the fragment of Chaos and will only loosen the seal as Kevin advances in cultivation to not destroy his body by this power and to increase his understanding of Chaos energy as it slowly got infused into his body.

As Kevin was lost in thought thinking about his future plans and how he is going to use Chaos energy in the future, the System interrupted his daydream to advise him.

[Host you should use darkness and fire energies]

"Huh, Why, especially those two?" asked Kevin confusedly.

[Because of the original cultivation manual that your mother gave to you]

"Are you talking about 'Dragon Domination Cultivation art'?"

[Yes host, if you start manifesting different energy than the energy used in the manual your mother gave you, it will make her suspicious since you haven't gone anywhere to learn a new manual]

[Also Host you are Black Dragon, so Fire and Darkness should be engraved in your bloodline now, and after the blood pool your affinity towards those elements would have increased tremendously]

"I think you got a point," I replied with a smile since the system being useful is new to me.

"Right, I forgot to ask, Will anyone be able to notice the second core in my heart or the small traces of Chaos energy?" I decided to ask to be sure since if those things were noticed it won't matter which lie I weaved in front of my mother, she will easily be able to catch it since she might notice the new strange energy in my body.

[For now, no one should be able to notice anything as the second core is sealed with the system powers, as for any traces of Chaos energy, they won't be noticeable for now until you break through and reach peak Soul Connection Realm]

"So when it starts to appear what should I say about it at the time," I asked in a tone filled with worry.

[There will be multiple solutions at the time Host]

"Well, whatever I will leave this small problem to my future self," I said to myself then I started to relax for a while before going out to see my mother and to see if my sister had come back.

After asking one of the maids working in the Palace, she directed me to the garden.

As I walked in the direction of the garden, I saw a round table with two chairs opposite to each other, on one of them, sat a beautiful woman with long black hair and crimson eyes. She has a face that can mesmerize mortals if appeared unveiled in public.

Behind the woman sitting on the chair stood a woman with an expressionless face, she has darker than the night hair and abyss-colored eyes, she is wearing a black maid outfit that made her figure more apparent in her uniform.

The one on the chair is his mother, Queen Rebekah. As for the other one Kevin has a guess but he can't be sure since he hasn't met her yet.

After arriving in front of his mother, she smiled happily seeing him come out of his cultivation room and motioned for him to sit on the empty chair in front of her.

After sitting in front of his mother he waited for her to speak since she appears to have a lot to say.

"How come you haven't come out of your room for a whole year without even coming out to see me?" she asked with a smile that could make the one receiving it feel as if he's thrown in a cold tundra.

Seeing her smile, I knew I fucked up for not taking a break before diving into my long year seclusion and coming to visit my mother, and I know I have to give her a good excuse.

"I was focusing on cultivating to break through to Core Formation Realm" I replied with a weak smile.

"Of course, I have noticed that you broke through but that didn't change anything, you can take a rest in between, like when you finished refining your marrow or after some time of collecting energy in your dantian" she still replied with the same smile.

I now begin to sweat buckets as I have no way to refute her, and like she said I should have come out after refining my marrow but at the time I was irritated with the system so I continued cultivating, as for my breakthrough to Core Formation Realm, I was forming two Cores so different from others, I couldn't simply stop least I do something wrong and damage my heart in the process, but of course, I can't say any of that so the best solution here is VERY simple actually…

"I am very sorry mom, I will take notice to not repeat it next time"

… it is to apologize, simple as that as there is no leeway for me and better apologize than make her angrier because I knew she was just worried about me spending a lot of time cultivating will affect my mentality as a child but since I am not really a child it won't affect me much but it won't do me any good if I say that.

"Good that you know not to make such a mistake again" replied my mother this time with a genuine smile on her face.

"Prepare something to drink for Kevin, Lyra," said my mother to the woman standing behind her all this time with an expressionless face.

"Yes, Your Majesty," said Lyra and went to prepare my mother's orders.

To change the previous topic to not dwell too much on it, so I decided to ask about the maid.

"Who is she, mother?" I asked with a curious smile on my face.

"You want to know?", she asked me back with a smile.

"Yes, I haven't seen her before."

"Sure, she is…"
