Chapter 15, Blood Pool

After spending 4 years of bitter cultivation in Body Strengthening Realm and finally reaching the peak, one step away from stepping into the Core Formation realm.

As Body Strengthening Realm is divided into 5 small realms with each being divided into three mini small realms.

The first small realm is called Flesh training, in which the cultivator would train his flesh following a set of specific movements from the cultivation manual a cultivator possess, so the cultivator can make the energy move in a specific way to strengthen the body slightly while strengthening the flesh at three intervals until the flesh of the body reaches its maximum capacity in this stage.

As Kevin is following the 'Freedom cultivation manual', the movements that Kevin was following was the strongest set of movements that can be found in this Universe but of course, Kevin has no idea since he doesn't know where this cultivation manual comes from and he hadn't tested his strength against anyone yet from the same level as him in battle but that is something he is going to discover in his future battles.

The second small realm is called Viscera training, In this realm, a cultivator must strengthen his inner and outer organs so they can move forward in Body Strengthening Realm, by allowing the energy collected from the previous stage to flow through the organs to strengthen them slowly along with the movement set available in the manual which will allow a cultivator to advance to the next small realm.

The third small realm is called Altering muscle, In this realm as the energy gathered filled the organs and strengthened them the overflowing energy will then continue on its path to strengthen and temper the muscles of the body which will result in increasing the strength, speed, and reflexes of the body. As the cultivator follows the movement set specified for this small realm, it will allow the body to adapt faster to the new speed and strength while avoiding getting injured while tempering his muscles with excessive energy.

The fourth small realm and the last for normal cultivators is called Bone Forging Realm, Kevin in this realm had to focus on the Gin gathered in his body along with Gin in the atmosphere which he usually absorbs while practicing his movements sets, all this energy would be directed to his bones to make it stronger and sturdier which results in increasing his defensive capability and bone density, the more a person bears the pain of having to infuse more energy into his bones until the bones cannot accept more energy the more powerful one would become at the end of this realm.

As for the fifth and the final real small realm where not many go through this realm as it requires great courage for the amount of pain a cultivator has to go through and the number of resources needed and used will also affect the results, it is called Blood and Marrow Tempering Realm.

In this realm, a cultivator will focus on refining their blood using Gin energy collected from the air and they must drill the energy into their Marrow after strengthening it greatly in the last stage of the Bone Forging realm, so you can imagine the amount of will power and pain tolerance at such a young age needed to go through this stage, as it depends on how much you have strengthened your bones with energy to be able to drill more energy in the marrow where the blood is produced.

As for why this realm requires special resources, because the big families and clans always have blood pool of blood essence of the diseased great ones who always leave them to help the younger generation refine their blood to become purer and increase their talent, of course not all big families do that but most of them especially the dragons, vampires, and demons since the purity of bloodline is everything for them.

As such when Kevin reached this stage, he went to his mother to ask her to prepare the blood pool to help him purify his bloodline, even though he doesn't know what is he supposed to do in the blood pool if he can use the energy collected to refine his blood without needing the blood pool.

After coming out of his room when his mother called him after a few days of waiting, he went to his mother's room.

"Is the preparation of the Blood pool ready?" asked Kevin his mother with a smile.

"Where are your greeting to your old mother?" my mother asked with a pout on her lips.

"Haha, I am sorry, I am just excited and nervous about the blood pool," I said while smiling awkwardly at my mother's face, then I went kissed her on her cheeks to calm her down a little.

"Okay, you are forgiven, and yes the blood pool is ready," said Rebekah with a smile, but she continued with a serious expression,

"You should steel your resolve because it is going to hurt, Do you know the steps you are going to go through?".

"Yes, first I have to empty all the blood in my body first so I can refine my marrow and change my blood with a purer blood, so what is the use of the blood pool when I will use the energy absorbed from the atmosphere?" asked Kevin curiously since he didn't know.

"After emptying all the blood in your body, you will use the bloodline energy in the pool along with Gin absorbed from the atmosphere to refine the marrow using both at the same and it will be more painful since the bloodline energy in the blood pool contain higher bloodline purity since it contains a lot of different ancient dragons blood essences from different bloodlines of different branches, so get ready."

"Sure, Let's go, I am ready," I replied with confident expression written all over my face.

After my mother wrapped me with her energy and we headed to one of the sealed areas in the dragon realm, as the blood pool is a place where a lot of resources are used to activate the blood pool and also since it contains the legacy of different dragons so it is always sealed and would be only unlocked when members of the young generation shows great promise as they show that they are cable of breaking through the shackles of mortality and attaining Divinehood, or when a member of the Royal family like my sister and me go through Blood and Marrow Tempering Realm as this is special privilege for us Royalty.

Just like that, it took us half an hour to reach there and what I saw stole my breath away from the amazing view I saw after passing the barrier that blocks people's sight and senses from seeing.
