Chapter 4: Don't let her out of your sight
In another land(not earth).
A young woman in her early twenties stares at the birds from the balcony of her room, she has emerald green eyes with long dark brown hair, wearing a red robe. The room is decorated lavishly with a big king size bed,with red bed sheet,the walls were painted white and a glass ceiling and a chandelier. there was a portrait on the left side of the room,it was the portrait of a man wearing a crown and holding a sceptre,the man had dark green eyes with brown hair, a woman was standing next to him,the woman had blue eyes with silver hair wearing a smaller crown,lastly a child in the middle of the couple,the child has green emerald eyes with short dark brown hair, obviously the young lady on the balcony.
The young woman is staring blankly at the sky,the morning looked calm and gentle but if only the castle was as calm as the morning.The knock on the bed room door snapped the woman back to reality.
" Come in" she simply said not taking her eyes from the birds in the sky. A girl walks inside,the girl is wearing a leather armour with her hair tied In a ponytail.
" Greetings your majesty" the girl bowed as she said.
the woman turns her head to face the girl "Jenna,what brings you here this early in the morning?"
" I came to check if you were awake yet, I see you are" Jenna replied
"You are definitely weird, we're cousins and you speak so formally" the queen said" Come over here" she use her hand to gesture for Jenna to move forward and she does.
"I haven't noticed how beautiful the morning looked in seven years" the queen stated.
" me either, nothing has particularly captivated me about nature" Jenna replied " the reason you're looking at the sky is it because of what the king of the wind kingdom said about it" she asked, Jenna knew her cousin, Nevaeh. Nevaeh who had been queen since she was nineteen and that had been six years ago and in those six years she only cared about ruling the earth kingdom her father had left her with and protect the water tribe that was her mother's home,she didn't care about her younger sister in fact she's ignored her for as long as she could remember and now her sister had gone missing, Jenna knew if it were up to Nevaeh her sister could disappear for all she cared but she had to protect the little ungrateful brat because it was their father's dying wish. Nevaeh was getting married to the King of the wind kingdom because she needed to form an alliance with them,the earth kingdom isn't as strong as they used to be and the fire kingdom was getting stronger everyday,she needed all the help she could get.
Although the earth kingdom originally ruled all four lands,after the war seven years ago they presently rule just their kingdom and the water tribe,the people from the tribe were not many,just a few of them were left after the war,most were healers and doctors and the men were palace guards and weren't good fighters,so they needed the assistance of the wind kingdom and since the king fancied her why not just use marriage to tie the earth and wind kingdom together.
" He's passionate about those this" Nevaeh said"He hasn't changed a bit".
" Nevaeh, you don't have to sell yourself to protect the kingdom" Jenna said,the king was good but her cousin didn't like him like he did for her.
" Am not, I do care about him... Forget my marriage,Any news about her" Nevaeh asked,her tone had changed from soft to serious all of a sudden. " She had that girl with her,she tried to divert the search crew but I had some else follow them,she changed her appearance a bit" Jenna said
" Foolish little sister, tell your spy to watch her for a while, let's see what she's up to" Nevaeh said in a commanding tone
" yes your majesty " Jenna bowed as she said.
" Dismissed " Nevaeh said coldly,it was like she was a totally different person from a moment ago." Tell King Rohan I will be joining him for breakfast, since he is here I should spend sometime with him" Nevaeh spoke,she took a moment of silence before saying " We are after all getting married aren't we"
"Anything else?" Jenna asked
" Don't let her out of your sight" Nevaeh said with no emotions in her voice.
Back on earth.
Ronnie drives Zane to the front of Roger's Antique shop.
" I can't believe you lost to a girl" Ronnie stated half laughing and half saying it.
" Don't rub in it okay, it's annoying enough as it is" Zane said in irritation." But why did you decide for a week?" Ronnie asked,he knew his friend didn't like the new girl but after being defeated by her,he decided to take the consequences for a week.
" If I was going to show her around,a day wouldn't be enough now would it?" He answered his friend's question as he gets out of the car" see you later okay "
" yeah, yeah whatever " Ronnie says as he drives away.
In a room, Amy was watching the boys through the window" He's here milady " she said still looking at the window.
" could you come help me put this wig on, it's hard" Lexi says,she actually has silver coloured hair( shoulder length) and blue eyes.
she extends her hand giving Amy the black wig to put on her head.
" I hate wearing this wig" Lexi complains
" well if you don't want anyone from Avalon to notice you I suggest you keep it on and hide those eyes of yours" Amy says as she puts the wig on Lexi's head.
" About the eyes,just give me contacts I can't keep using magic to hide them " Lexi mentions
" I told you so" Amy chuckles.

Zane browses through his phone as he waits for Lexi inside the shop
" She'll be down soon" Roger says.
" I know how girls can take a while to get dressed" He states
" Are you ready?" Lexi asks as she descends down the stairs. she is dressed simple with her black hair braided and a pin holding the hair, she isn't wearing any diamond necklace but a pendant that looks old.
" Yeah" Zane answered
