Chapter 7: Proper Training

" This should be far enough. Rejoice, for I will personally train you myself." Says Kizz with passion.

"Oooo understood Kizz sensei!!!" Exclaimed Yuya excitedly. As long as it's not the Dark General everything will be a-ok.

" Since you'll be training in magecraft tell me everything you know, so I can see what level you're at."

"Well I only know the basics like how we need to channel the mana inside us to cast spells."

"Anything else?"

"Nope"

"Sigh* you spend too much time on physical training " says Kizz disappointly. Thinking about the last 5 years of wasted opportunity of growth just makes her sigh with more disappointment.

"If he has trained in magecraft during those 5 year. No earlier, he would have long surpassed me now." Kizz thought to herself.

"Alright, guess I'll just teach everything from the basics onwards."

And so the teaching begins.

First off everyone in the world possess mana in their body from birth. Every individual has different amount of mana inside them.

It's possible to increase the capacity with training, but those that are born with high amounts of mana doesn't has to focus on this as much.

Second, mana can be use outside of just casting spells. People can use mana to strengthen their body, or increase their equipment power and durability during battle.

Third, everyone also has an elemental affinity. The higher your affinity is to a peculiar element. The spells cast with that element gains increase power.

There are some cases with the individual having multiple affinity. The most popular example would be the head of the Silversong family one of the 4 SSS rank hunter title "THE OMNI MAGE". Having 10 elemental affinities.

"Tho I wanted to teach you spells, the ones I know are unique to me. So only I can use them. I guess we can strengthen your body instead."

" Circuited your mana flow over your entire body as if your trying to purify it."

Listening to Kizz sensei, Yuya sat down on the ground and begin flowing his mana over his body. Immediately he felt the results kicking in.

He felt as if he was full of power. His sense also felt like it sharpened to a degree. As he was feeling joy, Kizz was shocked. As for why that is its because 2 hours has pass since Yuya started.

There are two types of body strengthening methods. One thats use to strengthen the body for a period of time before going back to normal like a buff in games.

The other is to permanently increase body strength however there are negative side effects.

That why most people stick with the first method.

Those that choose the second method normally can only train their body for a certain amount of time before one's mana reserve is depleted. And has to rest to restore it back to full.

What Yuya didn't know is that the strengthening method that Kizz taught him was unique to her family. Which strengthens his body to the highest degree permanently over time with no negative side effects. Drawback to that is it requires tremendous amount of mana to maintain.

Else your life force with be drained in replacement of mana.

Kizz thought he can only maintain it only least 5 seconds and make fun of him for giggles.

Even Kizz as she is now can only maintain this training method for about 4 hours. Yet Yuya who's way weaker looks fine without any hints of exhaustion.

What she didn't know is that Yuya possess the Mana Regen skill which restores mana overtime. And to top it off its ranked B. Meaning Yuya restores more mana than what's being uses as if he has unlimited supply of mana.

After the 3 hours hits Yuya decides to stop.

"This is incredible I feel as if I can punch a tree down in one hit. Ai I really wasted 5 years of my life. Let's see if my stats change. Status!"

"What! You know that's impossible for me! You dragged me to the opposite direction of your house, and to top it off it's on the top of the mountain. Even with my increase strength it'll take over an hour to get there. I'll refu-----"
