Shen looked up at the sky and over six buildings were flying towards him. They were being controlled by Glynda and were surrounded by her purple aura. Holding up his arm Shen's body crackled with lightning.

"Sago." And then as if striking him directly a wave of lightning struck his body and began to expand outwards. Anything it touched was destroyed and became molten, including the six buildings as well. A forty-meter area around him was reduced to this level. At this point, multiple city blocks had been completely destroyed.

Yet there wasn't a single injury on Shen's body.

Shen lazily held up a hand as a figure rushed directly at him, emerging from the cloud of dust created from his earlier move. It was Qrow, trying to take advantage of Shen's obscured field of view. He watched as his blade was directly caught between Shen's hands.

A wave of pressure erupted behind Shen as he did, so yet he and his arm did not budge an inch.

"I can see why Ozpin trusted you two so much. Having the will to fight me like this despite the situation is commendable. But I think we've wasted enough time playing around…" His tone turned dark as he spoke and pulled Qrow closer to using his hold on his weapon.

Qrow's eyes widened as Shen kicked him directly in the stomach. The aura of Karmic Retribution was coating his leg causing the attack to hit him physically and mentally. His Aura buckled before shattering as he was sent flying away. His body skated on the ground like a rock over water before suddenly stopping

Shen twisted Qrow's weapon in his hand before throwing it into the ground, having it stand upright. Glynda, who had caught Qrow with her Telekinesis, ran over to him, only to see him coughing up violently. Even though her Aura was still together she was no better.

Aura protected the body from injuries but you could still see she had suffered damage, her clothes had scars and scratches and were covered in dust.

"Out of everyone here in Beacon, I would consider you the most reasonable Glynda. So I'll give you a way out, surrender without resistance and take me to the Relic and the Maiden." Glynda's eyes flashed as she tried to wave her riding crop, nearly forming a Glyph in front of her. Yet the next second she felt someone grab her hand.

"Do the smart thing." Shen had appeared right in front of her before she had even noticed. Her arm and her entire body trembled with him being that close to her. His grip alone told her that if he wanted to he could break her wrist right then and there. But still, she spoke with a semblance of calm.

"Never not after everything you've done…" Shen raised a brow to her answer before smirking,

"Oh really? You know I think we've captured over sixty students so far. They're alive of course thanks to my orders, but you know how a human mind is. If they get too irritated or annoyed, they might slip up and send down an order you'll regret." The threat lined in his voice was clear and caused Glynda's legs to almost buckle.

"You-"

"Think about it carefully. I've already culled nearly 9% of Mistral's total population. I don't think you're ignorant enough to think I won't do it to Vale to get my way. The safety of your students I have a hostage and the ones who are still in the city, are on your shoulders." Letting go of her wrist he held her chin and forced her to look him in the eye.

"One word and that decides if hundreds of your students die or not. Think really hard..." Her eyes seemed to glaze over slightly. Her mind was racing with a way to get out of this. But there was none, he was too strong for them to defeat. Still, she could save the students, right? That thought caused her to speak again.

"If- If I lead you there, I have your word? You won't hurt the students?" Hearing that Shen let her go.

"I do have a tendency to lie, but I also live up to my promises. I won't hurt nor kill a single student as long as you comply." Listening to Shen's words Glynda grudgingly nodded her head agreeing. Qrow, who was lying on the ground, wanted to say something, but his body was in no condition to do so.

"Nora!" Jaune let out a shout as he ran towards one of Shen's men. It was caught off guard as he bashed into it with his full strength. It was sent flying back towards a red-headed girl. She flashed a smile as she twirled the hammer in her hand that was at least two times her size.

Her hammer slammed into the back of the Faunus. Afterward, she pulled the trigger located on the hammer's handle causing a pinkish explosion to erupt at its head. The Faunus was launched across the street slamming face-first into a building.

"Whew, those things are tough, it felt like hitting a rock." Nora wiggled her wrist as she said that. Although they could kill the users, the Ultima Uniforms were tougher than steel. Ren behind them finished off his opponent as well, knocking him into the side of the car with a kick. The car flipped over from the impact leaving the Faunus unmoving.

Ruby, Weiss, and Yang who was further down the street they were on finished fighting their enemies as well. Practically all of them were exhausted having been fighting intensely for over an hour. Out of sight however Blake was the only one missing, she was standing on top of a building a hundred meters away.

"Miss, are you sure we should leave those children be? They are killing our own..." The person speaking was someone higher up within Shen's forces. He was a Faunus like the others but he also was a trained Huntsman capable of using Aura. As such he was in charge of a portion of the forces invading Vale at the time.

"We number in the tens of thousands, it doesn't matter if a few die or not." Those words would never leave Blakes before she had met Shen. They were completely unsympathetic to the loss of life.

"But-" He was cut off as Blake stared at him, the white in her eyes had partially turned completely black while her irises had turned redder. The man immediately took a step back and clamped his mouth shut. If looks could kill he would probably be dead already. He immediately prepared for the worst, however, it never came.

Instead, he saw Blake staring off into a certain direction, her appearance had turned back to normal. And more importantly, her eyes seemed to have a weird gleam in them.

"How many people do you think managed to reach the Academy safely?" Looking at their surroundings Ruby asked this question dubiously. Even her cheerful personality couldn't help but die down after fighting for so long. All of them were sitting down next to a building recovering.

"I'm not exactly sure, but a few hundred at least." Weiss gave an estimate but even she wasn't positive about it. Things were just too chaotic to keep track of properly. Jaune let out a sigh as he stood up. Out of everyone he had used the least of his Aura fighting.

"Well, I guess I can go search some of the nearby buildings for survivors. I'm sure there-" He stopped talking as he noticed someone walking towards them.

"Professor Goodwitch?" He immediately recognized Glynda, when everyone heard him they stood up as well. They were relieved it was Glynda of all people, instead of an enemy. But that's when Jaune saw she was in cuffs. Not only that but there were multiple figures dressed just like the people who were attacking them, following behind her.

"Uncle Qrow!" Ruby shouted when she saw her uncle of all people in cuffs just like Glynda. Both of their expressions were dark but when they heard Ruby they looked up, spotting all of them.

"Ruby, don't come over here!" Qrow tried to warn her, but someone immediately stepped in front of him. Ruby and everyone else spotted the man standing in front of the others. His clothes reminded them of Taella's but they were different as well. Shen was standing there, his eyes completely transfixed.

'I thought I would have to wait to run into the Main Character's Maybe plot armor doesn't exist in this world after all. It would definitely make things easier on me.'

"You... Let go of him!" Ruby and Yang were the first two to fly into action. Using their weapons to propel themselves they flew directly at Shen.

"No, don't!" Glynda yelled but the two of them didn't listen. Though Shen wasn't the one to make a move. Just as they got in range to attack the two of them felt someone grab their necks pushing them to the ground. It happened suddenly for them to react as they planted face-first into the ground.

"Master, you're finally here!" Holding both Yang and Ruby down, Blake's eyes were full of emotion. On the other hand, Glynda, Qrow, and everyone else were at a complete loss. What did she just call him?

"Blake wh- What are you doing!" Yang struggled but found herself unable to move, Ruby was in the same situation. Everyone else who was prepared to jump in didn't know what was going on either. Hearing her protest Blake looked down at them with a strange expression.

"I was hoping you all would meet him under better circumstances. I'll explain things later, for now just take a short nap ok?" After saying that Blake released them before striking Ruby and Yang in the back of the neck. As if their Aura was nonexistent they immediately fell unconscious.

"You're with them?" Glynda and Qrow both realized what was happening, but it was too late. Blake's eyes swirled around to everyone else as she activated her semblance. The rest of Team RWBY along with Jaune and the others were immediately engulfed in darkness. All noise from the outside world was cut off, and they couldn't even see one another.

Relying on that along with her superior speed and strength knocking the rest of them out was simple. Within a second's the darkness faded and all of them were lying unconscious on the ground.

"Good job, Blake, good to see you've gotten stronger." Blake was completely docile in front of Shen as he patted her on the head. Glynda was the most surprised to see this. Blake had been a part of her class for a while now, and she felt she understood her personality. But none of her memories lined up with what she was seeing.

"Where are the other students I told you to keep track of?" Shen looked around because he saw the more important side characters were missing.

"Oh, they're protecting Beacon Academy under Ozpin's orders. If I had to guess, he's currently fighting with Cinder since she's gone after the Maiden." Hearing that Shen nodded seemed some things about the timeline have stayed the same. Turning to his men he ordered them to capture Team RWBY and the others.

"So then Master, what are we doing now?"

"I want you to assist in capturing the rest of the important Students. The others can be ignored. I'll deal with Ozpin and Cinder myself." Blake grinned hearing Shen's orders, she finally had something to do. She had been so bored playing the part of the student. Plus she had to contain her appetite so she did not draw too much attention.

Now she could do whatever she wanted since Vale would fall either way.
