Chapter 10 Two Years Later...

*Ting!* *Ting!*

The sounds of swords clashing rang throughout the Mikazuchi household. With each swing of their blades the a gust of wind and a cracking earth echoed after. The speed at which the two figures clashed was faster than the aftereffects of the battle.

One, a beautiful silvery-white haired woman with an amazing figure, adorned in a red and blue hakama with four swords on her body. She was constantly smiling and her multi-colored eyes shone and left streaks through the air. Her lightly flustered, pale skin shone and her cheeks possessed a healthy shine to them adding to her exotic beauty. She had all the markings of a traditional Japanese beauty, minus the hair color.

The other, a tall, black haired young man whose height exceeded the woman's who only had two swords at his waist, both on the left side. He had pretty features however they seemed to be disappearing and a more masculine handsomeness seemed to be coming through. His clothes couldn't hide the toned muscles beneath them. He had a grin on his face and it seemed to grow every time he blocked or tried to land a hit on the woman.

"Shi-chan! That's number 41! 41 attempts at 'trying to kill me' that have failed!".

"Takemi! Shut up! You're lucky I'm holding back! Otherwise-!".

The woman leaped up into the air and using the entirety of her B Rank Strength, swung her swords at the man beneath her causing a whistling sound to ring out.

The exact moment that Musashi tried to bring down her sword on Takemi, he muttered something and disappeared. Instantly turning around Saber tried to block the strike however a small graze cut through her hakama causing her to fall to the ground sighing.

"You cheated! You and you're stupid Skills! It's not my fault my Saint Graph is fixed and I can hardly improve!".

Takemi, who had sheathed his swords came to Musashi's side and scooped her up in his arms nestling his face in her neck.

"Is my little Shi-chan upset? Do you want me make you feel better?".

Musashi turned her head, her ears reddened at the sudden closeness.

The Master wryly smiled and thought back to the deal they made just under two years ago. The same one that banned sex until his 'little sword' became a 'holy sword'. And boy was it a holy sword! Nearly two years later although they had made a that deal, they pretty much did everything else and didn't hold themselves back.

Musashi has a B Rank Endurance after all. Takemi had to work hard in order to get up to that level.

"Takemi~ I'm hungry! Make me food and carry me!". When her Master became taller than her, she pouted for a long time but got over it when when he picked her up like a princess. It was one of the few things that would always lighten her mood... other than delicious food of course.

"Okay, okay...", said Takemi while thinking, 'Aren't I supposed to be the Master here?'

The two made their way to the kitchen and both noted the calendar on the fridge that had been marked two years ago. It was the testing day for First National High. The cornerstone of magic education in the entire country.

"It's tomorrow right? You've got everything ready?".

"Yep. I'm 100% sure that I can do it. My current Magecraft is rather limited to support techniques rather than actual combat spells. I think besides-".

"Boring! Aren't you wondering what I am going to do while you're away? I'm not going to be staying at home all day moping around?".

This did peak Takemi's interest. The Saber Servant seemed to get a job somewhere last year without telling him. It seemed oji-chan helped her with most of it however she kept it a secret from Takemi and was lording over him with this.

"I am definitely interested. I don't suppose you'll tell me?".

"Nope, you'll find out in a couple weeks!", she said with a smile.

After having dinner the two of them washed up and went to bed. Something that they did in the same one now that their relationship wasn't just emotional.

"I can't wait for you to wipe the floor with them Takemi! You'll be like bang! and then whoosh! and then kablam! and then-".

"That's enough Musashi. It's time for bed".

They had purchased a large western bed, larger than anything both Takemi and Musashi had ever seen before and knocked down a wall to extend the space of their bedroom.

Musashi smiled as Takemi pulled up the covers and she rested her head on his pillow with a smile. Her Master shook his head and placed his head down beside hers only a few inches apart from each other.

Takemi knew that this relationship may not be the same starting soon and came clean to Musashi early on.

"Musashi, if I were to have another girlfriend other than you, what would you think of that?".

Her answer was simple, yet unbelievably shocking to the young man,

"I'm the first wife! I take priority over all the other wives! I get the most attention from Takemi! Anything else?".

It appears that she still thought that having more than one wife was common in this time period, because some Magic Families still practices polygamy in order to produce the best quality Magician for future generations.

He explained to her that it wasn't the case, but didn't change her answer.

At least she wouldn't get mad when he pursued Erika and Angelina, both of which he had grown rather close to whenever they met up. Angelina in particular seemed to be very happy whenever she returned from the USNA.

Erika on the other hand seemed to see him as more as a rival in the sword than anything else. Although after one spar last summer, she had started to see him as more than a man.

"Take this!".

"And that!".

"And how about... this!".

A flurry of strikes aimed all at his vitals was dodged by Takemi and spun around slapping Erika's sword away.

"Are you done Chiba-san?".

"It's Erika! Say it!".

"Only if you win".

Sparked by the smirk and desire to kick Takemi's face in she picked up her practice sword and eyed him forcing Takemi to take the offensive. He charged, leading with his smaller wakizashi for an overhead slash.

Erika evaded the attempted and swung horizontally at his sternum, which was blocked by the katana in his right hand.

She inwardly grinned and let of go the blade, before catching it in a reverse grip and slicing upwards to get Takemi in the chin.

However this is where things went sideways. Her grip on her sword was loose as she performed the switch on the fly and it looked from a distance as if she threw the sword towards Takemi. It hit the mark and caused him to lose his own balance by standing on her foot.

In the end, he fell on top of her with his hand placed somewhere that it shouldn't causing a massive hand print to be slapped onto his face, staying there for quite a while.

She became more conscious around Takemi that day and she left more than one undertone about how worried she was about her body, the only response Takemi gave her was,

"Don't worry. You're already perfect the way you are".

This of course earned him another slap, although the shade of red her face turned was priceless in its own right.

'Screw it... tomorrow's a new day and I've got more important things to think about...'.

And with that, he entered Morpheus's embrace.

The next day....

"Ahh! The sun! Turn it off Takemi...".

A face nuzzled into the aforementioned chest while pulling the blankets over her head.

"Ahh! Now it's too hot! Turn it off Takemi!".

The sound of blankets been torn off and legs intertwining with each other made the Saber Servant smile and say, "It's a new day!".

The was an awkward silence in the room before the two of them jumped out of bed and ran downstairs.

"It's 7:30! The testing is less than an hour!".

"Why didn't you wake me up Takemi!".

"Why didn't you wake me up Musashi!".

They this at the exact same time and look at each other before stopping laughing.

"Just have a shower Musashi. I'll get breakfast ready".

The two's morning had been exactly the same for over two years with only a few exceptions. They knew roughly how long each other took to cook food, have a shower, wash up and get changed down to the second.

In less than thirty minutes the both of them were out the door running at the same speed a car does in a suburban neighborhood.

They both passes numerous young men and women who were walking up the main road to get to National Magic University Affiliated High School. Both drew eyes from everybody as their use of Magic astounded most.

"Hey look at that!".

"Woah! She is one beautiful woman!".

"Do you think that guy is single?".

When they stopped at the main gates of the High School, they were greeted by a number of students who politely nodded and smiled at the duo.

'Something about this seems off... is it possible? No way, her, here? Maybe in every male students wet dream'.

Shaking his head he followed the student guides he arrived at one of the Magic Experiment rooms he had seen before and entered with a nervous expression.

'This should work. You know this works. You have the ability to both accelerate your thought process and partition off parts of your mind to perform multiple things at once. Memorizing a few letters and number should be easy for you'.

Despite him calming himself down, this was the first time he had ever tried Magic from this world. It wasn't like he could access Magic from an everyday computer, as all Magic spells were kept by the government and military as it was Magic was a military's asset. The only thing available to the public were a list of minor spells that moved things from one place to another or a basic pyrokinesis spell.

It was the world governments way of making sure that normal people don't riot as a Magician living next to them could be capable of blowing up them or their family.

"Magicians only need a Magic Calculator Area to read spells subconsciously which is then it fills in the variables and executes the spell... I know I can generate psions and control them with [Thought Acceleration]. Reading the spell and entering the coordinates, output, and duration can be done with [Memory Partition]. Lets just hope five partitions is good enough". He was muttering under his breath and felt a hand on his shoulder trying to sooth him.

"You'll be fine. You checked all the boxes when it comes to doing what a Magician can and can't do. I'm here for you".

He felt her hand enter his and a kiss on his forehead. It wasn't as good as a kiss on the lips but in a public place it was the next best thing.

"Go. It's your turn".

A heard an examiner call his name and Musashi gave him a gentle push as he walked over to the stand.

"Place your hand on the CAD and activate the spell. Your cast time will be recorded and there will be no second chances".

He gave the examiner a nod before placing his hand down on the hand print and slowing his breath.

'[Thought Acceleration]'

He felt his body generating psions and used his accelerated mental process to input the psions into the CAD. It felt different compared to when he used od or mana to perform Magecraft. The latter felt like he was using physical stamina to power his spells while this felt more like a drain on his mental stamina.

'[Memory Partition]'.

The numbers and letters from the spell flowed into his mind and five rooms caught the 15,872 letters and divided them evenly into the five rooms. Takemi saw the machine and knew that if he supplied exactly 'X' amount of psions he could accelerate the machine at 60/kilometers per hour and if he cancelled inertia when at the 10 centimeter mark...

He raised his hand and a a radiant red and blue light filled the room. The other examiners saw his the waves of psions he was producing. It was flawless, ideal, perfect, quintessential. Every part of the spell was absolutely calculated to perfection.

It was fast too. The examiner beside him blinked and the spell was over. He only caught a glimpse of that dazzling use of Magic before the spell had already been executed.

He looked down as his tablet and brought up the score which made him gulp.

"Examinee: Mikazuchi Takemi. Written Score: 98/100. Practical Score: 0.0001 seconds. 100/100".

It's finally here!
