Chapter 16: Celebrations
We all walked into the house and our noses were immediately hit with the smell of food.
"Hey Emily." I smiled walking into the kitchen.
"Hey Candy." She turned around and smiled.
Before I could speak again Sam walked in and hugged Emily.
"Now we have to deal with a new couple." He laughed and kissed Emily.
"Who?" She asked.
Sam just turned to me and with that Paul walked in the kitchen and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Emily exclaimed.
"I was going to before Sammi over here ruined it." I laughed and gestured to Sam.
"My bad." He laughed and started to kiss Emily's neck.
"So I was right." Emily laughed.
"Yes you were right." I laughed and looked at my shoulder where Paul's head was now resting.
"All that worrying for nothing." She laughed.
"I guess so." I laughed.
"Well I'm glad I made fancy dinner because we have to celebrate." She smiled.
"It's not that big of a deal." I laughed.
"Excuse me Mrs, it is a big deal that I found the love of my life and the mother to my kids one day." Paul laughed and started to kiss my cheek and neck.
"Kids huh?" I laughed.
"Well of course." Paul Laughed.
I kissed Paul on his forehead and we left the kitchen.
"Scoot over." I gestured Seth.
Seth got up and I sat down and then Paul sat on the other side of the couch because Seth laid down on my lap.
"Get your dirty feet off me." Paul said trying to push Seth's legs off his lap.
"Paul be nice to my baby." I hissed.
"Woah there momma bear it's not like I'm killing him." Paul laughed.
"I don't care leave him alone." I laughed.
"Thanks Bambi." Seth smiled up at me.
"Of course." I smiled and gave him head scratches.
"I guess she isn't just yours." Jake laughed at Paul.
" Shut it." Paul hissed back.
"Someone's jealous." Embry laughed.
"Well she's my imprint." Paul snapped back.
"Not so fast you two always fought and she took a liking to Seth first." Sam added as he walked in the living room.
"Thank you Sam." I laughed.
"Anytime short stuff." He smiled.
"Whatever." Paul rolled his eyes.
"Awe my poor baby." I puckered my bottom lip.
Paul looked at me and just laughed.
"Guys dinner is ready." Emily yelled from the kitchen.
With those few words all the guys jumped up and ran to the kitchen except Paul.
"What's wrong?" I asked walking up to Paul.
"Can I have cuddles and lots if kisses tonight please." He pouted.
"You always get cuddles and kisses." I giggled.
"I know but I'm making sure I get them." He laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I laughed at his cuteness, he was always such a big baby when it came to me.
"What's so funny?" He questioned.
"You," I laughed.
"Why me?" He asked.
"Because your such a big baby, but it's ok because your my big baby." I smiled.
With that Paul laughed and kissed me passionately.
"Come on you love birds." Emily laughed standing at the living room door.
"We're coming." I laughed.
With that Paul and I walked to the kitchen and sat down and started eating.
"So who wants to go cliff jumping tomorrow?" Jake asked.
"Of course I do." I laughed.
"If she goes then I go." Paul looked at me and smiled.
"You two are gross." Embry gaged.
"Your just mad you don't have an imprint yet." Jake laughed.
"Yeah what Jake said." Seth laughed.
"What's it even like?" Embry asked.
"Whats what like?" I asked.
"Having an imprint." He stated.
"Well we can phase after dinner so you can feel what we feel." I suggested.
"That's a great idea." Emily assured.
"But for now if you put it in words it's like gravity isn't holding you to the earth it's them, for me it's Emily and for Paul and Candice it's each other. But since their both wolves the bond has to be stronger." Sam explained.
"It is, it's like what Sam said but 10x stronger, when she's not in my sight I feel like somethings missing, when I don't feel her touch it's like I won't ever be the same until she's back and I can feel her again." Paul explained.
"So basically your obsessed with her and a complete psychopath." Embry laughed.
"Basically." I laughed.
"I am not a psychopath." Paul assured.
"Sounds like it." Jake laughed.
"Well when you three imprint you'll know what it's like to be a psychopath." Sam stated.
"Anyways, how's your sister Seth?" I asked.
"She's good I think she is getting ready to phase soon." He smiled.
"I'm glad there will be another girl wolf, no offence Emily I mean like a girl shifter." I explained.
"No worries, I don't think I could handle it like you can." She laughed.
"Do you think it'll be weird?" Embry asked.
"What do you mean weird?" I asked.
"Leah and I used to date but then I met Emily and I imprinted, Emily, Leah, and Seth are cousins so it was weird that I dumped Leah for her cousins but I imprinted and there was nothing I could do." Sam explained.
"Yeah and when Sam and Leah broke up Leah changed she became mean and rude and she just stays in her room all the time but everything is just 10x worse since she is going to shift soon." Seth explained.
"Does she know why you broke up with her?" I asked.
"No I couldn't tell her Seth hadn't shifted yet and I knew that both of them would shift at some point so now that she shifts she'll understand." Sam explained.
"Oh, well maybe she won't be so angry at you two for it." I suggested.
"Hopefully." Emily added.
"I think she will." I smiled.
Everyone smiled and continued to eat and talk. After we all finished Emily and I cleaned up the table, cleaned the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen before we went to the living room with the guys.
"Thank you so much Emily for dinner and everyone for the great day but 'm going to had home I'm getting tired." I smiled.
"Don't forget you and Paul have patrol starting again at 10a.m." Sam smiled.
"Sounds good." Paul smiled and stood up from the couch.
I hugged all the guys and kissed them on their foreheads like I usually did.
"Wanna race?" I giggled looking at Paul.
"Are we phasing?" He asked.
"Nope we're running." I smirked.
"Hell yeah." He laughed.
"Ready, Set, GO." I laughed.
With that Paul and I took off running towards my house. I was ahead barley when I felt someone running behind me and crash into me picking me up.
"What are you doing?" I laughed looking at Paul.
"I wasn't going to let you win." He laughed.
"Cheater." I laughed.
He laughed and we finally made it to my house.
"Mind if I spend the night?" He asked.
"Not at all." I smiled.
"What about your parents?" He asked.
"They love you, they won't care." I smiled getting out of his grip and stood on the porch.
Paul smiled and we walked in, my parents were in the living room watching tv.
"Hey mom, dad." I smiled.
"Hey honey." My mom smiled.
"Hey bud." My dad smiled.
"It's alright that Paul stays the night right?" I asked.
"Of course." My dad smiled.
With that I hugged both of them. Paul hugged them as well and we all said goodnight.
Paul and I walked upstairs and into my room. I took off my shirt and pants and threw on a pair of sleep shorts because two wolves in one bed gets super hot. Paul took off his shirt and pants and just stayed in his boxers.
I laid down and Paul crawled in next to me.
"You owe my cuddles and kisses." He scooted closer.
"Fine, come here you big baby." I smiled.
Paul laid on my chest and wrapped his arms around me like I was going to leave in the middle of the night. I kissed his cheek and neck multiple times until his breathe became steady and I could hear little snores. I rested my head on top of his head and fell asleep.
