The Two-Faced Peace Keeper (Bl)

Kongane is a happy, cheerful and easily likeable young man. The life of the party, your go-to person and the big older brother that you never had. He is someone who everyone likes and can always rely on. He is the star in the darkness for every one and the person who is always on the stoplight. Or so the people surrounding her say. The smile He has is never true. The easygoingness is never there and the stoplight that every one put him on is something that he despises. He is a boy who loves peace the most. Someone who chases after peace and his only wish is to live a life where he can stay away from everyone and become an existence that has no influence on the world. Just like an extra character in a story who is there because he was supposed to be there but whose disappearance would never be noticed by anyone. That's all he wants. A life where he can have all the peace in the world, where no one could bother him, judge him or expect something from him. Where he would play no big role in anyone's life and live just because he was born. That's all he wanted but I guess the heavens had a grudge against him that they had to turn the whole world upside down on the day he finally decided to just live on an island completely isolated from the world to finally have the peace that he dreamed of. The world turned into a big battlefield where monsters appeared all over the world and people started to develop powers that were beyond the human body's capabilities. People started to kill one another and the world turned into a place where the rule "Survival of the Fittest" was absolute. If you didn't contribute then you had no right to live. The government tried it's best to maintain order and control those with powers but was unable to do so as they were stronger than most and we're the only ones who could kill the monsters as the modern weapons were useless against them. Failing to be able to do anything the government tried it's best to meet the demands of the humans who had powers who called themselves " Peace Keepers". While all of this was happening the only thing that concerns our main protagonist is the fact that he can not go to the island on which he wanted to spend the rest of his life. Yupe. That's all that bothered him. Not the fact that the world was infested with monsters. Not the deaths of people. Not the injustice of Peace Keepers but the fact that he couldn't live on him dream island. That's all that bothered him. He was a cold hearted person who didn't trust anyone. He didn't know what pure happiness was, what love was and what it felt like to be cared for. He wasn't born this way. No one was. The world made him like this. It showed him that the world isn't fair so either should you be. The world doesn't care what you do, so why should others do? Let the world do what it wants. He never wanted to be a part of it. The only thing that he believed in was the quote " I don't bother you so you should not bother me." He has lived his life following this line. Always living his life not bothering people and erasing the ones who bother him. You see he wasn't normal and there were many like him, but even among them he was special. After all he was the moon's dearest. He is an Immortal. An immortal whose life's only goal was to find peace. To live in peace and silence until the end of time. To live a life that no one will remember. He has chased after such a life for a very long time and when he finally found a way to live such a life the world just had to ruin it. Now things are gonna get ugly. ----------------------------------- Hey guys! I am the author and I just wanted to let my readers knows that I will be starting this story in the near future. Mouse or Mice?

⚠️ Bloody scene ahead.

______________________

Mouse. No Mice.

A lot of them.

They were coming from underground.

A whole nest of them.

I was one of the first to get tackled by these mammals. Even before I knew what happened or how it happened I could already see the ground coming closer and the next thing I knew was the darkness that involved me.

When I finally woke up was the smell of blood that totally involved my senses. My head was spinning and I felt dizzy. My body felt like it had been dragged for miles on end. I could even feel the wounds on my body. They were light but if not treated soon they will get infected.

I could not see or feel a thing clearly as it was all blurred out. But I could see a blue light or flame? I wasn't sure.

I could see big black dots with feet and a tail running around in the blue something. Probably the mice. But they were the same size as a year old child. I have never seen a mouse so big.

They were all moving towards something. Something big. Bigger than the mice. Bigger than any human I have ever seen. It was as tall as a bear. It looked like a skeleton covered in some torned and rigged black cloth. Its eyes were the things that were glowing blue, lighting up the whole underground cave or something.

Next to it were…...were….. death bodies.

All of them were covered in blood. There were children, the elderly and even people I saw in the compartment and the people who were running with me. The people who were already dead when the quake happened. They didn't leave anyone behind. They bought everything made of flesh they could find in their hunt to the surface.

And now they are offering them to that... that thing. I looked around and tried to see if... if there were any other people who were alive like me in this place. I looked through the pile of bodies one by one moving as little as possible as a scanned for anything that was alive.

As I was looking through the piles of bodies a saw a body shivering. A man. He was alive. He was still breathing from what I could tell and he was conscious as well. I saw him flinch when I looked at him for too long. He slowly turned around his body to look at me and I saw fear in his eyes.

Fear of the mice. Fear of blood. Fear of whatever that thing was and most of all fear of death. He was on the verge of collapsing. His mind couldn't take it anymore. It's not surprising thou. After all he is a city man, someone who has never seen a death body was suddenly dropped into this chain of events. It's a miracle that he was still able to think and not start panicking but it's hard to say how long that state of mind of his last.

I saw as he kept looking all around the cave. His eyes kept darting from one corner to another without rest. His body was shaking and sweat was forming on his forhead. His eyes was slowly losing focus and his mind was dazed. The only thought in him mind at that moment was to run away. Run away as fast as he can, as far as he can.

He didn't want to stay there. He didn't want to be anywhere near that place. He didn't was to be a death body. He didn't want to be near a mouse or what ever that thing is. He wanted to escape.

The urge to escape was so strong that his mind couldn't take it anymore and his clarity finally snapped. His body shook one last time before he bolted towards the tunnels.

Chu~

The entire underground cave went silent. The mice stopped moving. All of them. The thing that was eating corpses uptill now slowly rose his head as the blue light in his eye sockets flicked once. Then twice and then finally the mice reacted.

One by one they all stood straight and stared at the man running like a wolf watching it's prey. In a matter of seconds all the mice rushed towards the man at incredible speed. They fought up in no time and before the man even knew what happened the mice were all over his body.

Once could hear the sound of bone breaking and tearing of flesh as the man drowned in the sea of mice. In between seconds the mice gathered and disappeared from the man's location.

After the mice were finish with him all that was left of him was a bloody corpse. His eyes were eaten and blood was gushing out of the deep holes. His heart was chewed out as well. His arm was dislocated and his…...his guts were a bloody mess. His whole body was devoid of any skin. No one could find a single piece of skin on that man's body.

It was a terrifying sight. I felt like vomiting.

Vomiting blood.

From anger.

I was angry.

I was upset.

Very upset.

Hell's about to get loose.
