Cauliflower

"Hey, Ally!" Her doll-like cousin called her making Allyson startled.

"Yah! can you please lower your voice? I'm just a few inches away from you. " Allyson scolded. Earning a peace sign from her noisy cousin.

" Sorry, I found the hot owner. And he's no joke." Anne informed making the blonde furrow her forehead.

"He's on the internet? " Allyson asked. " Duh! he's one hell famous. It also said here that he was once a member of a band before. " Anne added.

Her cousin continues to give her information about the boy, making her confused. All of the information is taken in one blow.

"Hey, Ally. Are you okay?" Anne asked her when she realized that her cousin turned silent.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just thinking." Allyson replied as she opens her phone, Thinking that she should search for it herself.

"Whoa! You're thinking!" Anne exclaimed earning her a slap in her arms coming from Allyson.

"Aw! What was that for?" She complained. Allyson chuckled. "That's for being too loud."

"Excuse me? who are you to slap me? " Anne asked. " I'm Allyson Clarke, Owner of this house. Any problem? " Allyson bluntly replied.

All she heard is a sigh coming from her, forming a smirk on her lips.

Allyson stands up from her seat to get herself some drinks in the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Her cousin asked. making her giggle.

"Chill, Anne. I'm just gonna get myself a drink." Allyson replied. She stares at Anne's hand holding her blouse.

"Oh, okay. Get me some snacks too." Anne said as she let go of her blouse.

"Didn't we just eat?" Allyson asked the doll earning her a pair of squinted eyes.

"Okay, geez!" Allyson exclaimed in defeat.

The maids ask her what she needed, But she told them that she can handle it by herself and they can rest.

The maids said their goodnight to their young master and left. Allyson opens the refrigerator as she scans it from top to bottom.

"What should I get?" She asked herself. in the end, she took chocolate milk and chips for Anne.

Allyson tosses the chips to Anne, making it land on her face. "Pfftt! Sorry!" Allyson immediately apologized.

"You... You're lucky it didn't touch my nose. Or else I will kill you! " Anne threatened her, but Allyson just laughs at her. As if it's a kind of joke.

Allyson shakes her head in disbelief. "Whatever, Anne. Next time I'll make sure it won't hit your nose." Anne just rolled her eyes at her annoying cousin as she returns her attention to her phone.

Allyson was about to return to her seat before when her phone rang. She immediately answered it when she read the caller ID.

"Hello, Gray?" She asked.

"Hi, Ally. Sorry for calling" Harris said making her confused.

"Huh? what are you talking about?" She asked again. hoping she would understand the next words Harris gonna say.

"I'm here in front of your house, can you please come out for a sec? " Harris replied making her eyes wide.

Anne noticed her cousin's behavior, So she hastily stands up and ran to the window. Witnessing a bunny boy waving.

"Looks like lover boy came to see you." Anne teased. "Shut up. " Allyson mouthed making her laugh.

Harris is waiting at the gate, with a phone in his ear. He put it down when he saw a certain blonde coming closer.

"Harris, it's late. What are you doing here?" Allyson greeted him. The boy chuckled. Cause he expected this kind of reaction from her.

"I just want to drop by and give you this." Harris handed a white cauliflower.

If you can see Allyson, confusion is written all over her face.

"What will I do with this?" She asked.

"I was heading here when I met an old woman pushing a vegetable cart. I was thinking of buying you a flower too. But it's late and the stores are closed. So I thought, Maybe this can be nice. " Harris explained forming a sweet smile from Allyson.

"Oh, Gray. That's so sweet of you. You don't have to bother buying me flowers. " Allyson stated making him melt.

"It's a peace offering. I know you're wondering why I act different earlier. " Harris explained. Allyson was just staring at him, waiting for him to continue.

Harris looks at her and immediately avoids her gaze. "I'm sorry, I guess I feel insecure about the owner earlier." He admitted.

"Why is that? "Allyson asked, Harris, chuckled at the sight of how the blonde hold the cauliflower.

"Cause he can say his feelings, while I'm struggling." Harris replied. His gaze still on the ground.

Allyson raises his chin with the use of the cauliflower. "You know, I don't know what are you trying to say. But... You have nothing to feel insecure about."

Harris sighed, Cause Allyson still seems don't get what he's trying to say.

"Do you like him?" He asked. Allyson was silent for a few seconds.

"I do... But not in the way as I like you." Allyson replied.

Harris feels like his breathing stopped at what he heard. He can't even blink. He looks literally frozen in the spot.

Allyson pokes his cheeks, But still no reaction. "Gray? Yah! Stop playing, it's not funny." Allyson exclaimed. But the latter is still the same.

Allyson hit his face with the cauliflower, making him stumble. "What the hell is that for?" Harris asked.

Allyson giggled. " You're not moving, and I guess this flower is useful."

"Hey! don't copy my move. That won't work on me." Harris stated making her laugh.

Harris hissed. "Go home, it's late. Your father might scold you again." Allyson said, Avoiding the topic.

"You didn't answer my question." Harris stated. "I know... And it's not important. Now shoo!" Allyson pushes Harris to the car. Telling him to go.

"Tss! no fair." Harris complained as he return to his seat.

"Life is unfair, so it's natural. Now stop whining and go. " Allyson reprimanded making him hiss.

"Fine, I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight, Al." Harris stated earning him a smile from the blonde.

"Yeah, see ya. Goodnight too." Allyson replied.

After a few minutes of never-ending goodbye, Harris finally set his way. When he faded from sight. Allyson decided to return to her house.

Allyson closed the door, making sure it won't create any sound. "What's with the cauliflower?" Allyson got startled by the sudden sound.

"Could you stop doing that?!" Allyson annoyingly exclaimed. Anne was laughing hard at her reaction.

"Your reaction is still the best. Where did you get that?" Anne pointed at what she's holding.

Allyson stares at it lovingly, Making Anne wince at the sight. "Harris gave me this, He said he wanted to give me flowers but this is just what he caught in this time. "

"What a unique mind he has, to give you a vegetable as a flower." Anne mocked earning her a glare from the blonde.

"Don't take this as a joke, At least he remembered giving me one." Allyson defended, Anne chuckled at her reaction.

"Alright, Fine. But... Can we cook that? Beef is good with that. " Anne asked receiving another set of glare.

"Go get yourself a cauliflower, No one is touching mine." Allyson stated as she walks upstairs to her room.

" Yah! Are you just gonna leave me here? " Anne called, Allyson just waved at her without turning around. "Good Night, Annie!"

"Tss! Just wait, I'll find a man who will give me broccoli not cauliflower. " Anne blurted as she walks towards her room with a frown.
