Chap 4: Duke's plans

'W-what..'

After a while the original villainess grasped what's happening and typed alot of questions for Evelyn the author, she type the corresponding sentence...

'Who are you?, Where am I?, What happened?, Is the world I live in just a novel you created?, Are you a creator?, What should I do?, Can I come back?...'

Her questions were endless. The author, Evelyn, herself doesn't even know how she and her own villainess character switched souls and possesed eachothers' body. Evelyn explained and planned with the Villainess in which the original villainess understood. Light suddenly shone over Evelyn that made her wake up in her own novel again and the original villainess was left alone in the author's world. Both of them planned on what they do to avoid any trouble and created theories on what happened.

'Hah...I cant believe that the original villainess would be in my world while I am in her body..'

Evelyn was contended since one of her questions were atleast answered. Then suddenly she heard a voice in her head.

'Author, I think I can talk to you by typing in your novel'

Which shocked Evelyn and thought she was going crazy.

'Calm down Author, I am trying to test if its possible to talk to you by doing this.'

Evelyn was overwhelmed with happiness knowing that both of them can talk to eachother anyways even if she isn't in a dream.

'Remember the schedule'

Evelyn said as she prepares herself to study harder for her academics and become the smartest in the empire. She did her best to keep up with trends and her studies which help fix her bad reputation. Everyone spread the rumors of Evelyn changing into a mature yet hardworking noble lady that it infuriates Ellenor and arised envy and jealousy from countless of people.

'Ugh..My head hurts so much...'

Evelyn was tired as her head heats up from studying nonstop for 3 weeks.

'I should go out and maybe go to a bakery'

When Evelyn is about to open her door the butler was infront of her

'Miss Evelyn, the duke calls for you'

The butler didn't escort Evelyn to Duke's office but instead go off without her

*Damn that Butler..the least he could do is show some courtesy. Not like I can blame him though, he had a hard time dealing with the original villainess.*

Evelyn followed the butler to the Duke's office as she remembers one of the original villainess' memories.

-Flash backs-

'MISS EVELYN AAAACCCCCCKKKKKK' screaming and panicking can be heard from the Duke Calibron States in a normal day as the Butler chases off Young Evelyn. Young Evelyn was running around with dirty muds and candy stains all over her dress and body.

'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA'

Young Evelyn laugh as she run fast from the Butler and the maids as she took the white paint and put it in her hands then threw the bucket of white pain on the Butler giving her time to run off. Young Evelyn run to the garden and messed the beautiful flowers and painted it white using her tiny hands.

-End of Flash backs-

'Eheh...'

Evelyn regretfully sigh.

*Im not in trouble am I.?*

Evelyn arrived at the front of Duke's Office

'Miss Evelyn is here.'

The butler then make way for Evelyn as she enters the office.

'I've noticed that you've been studying this week. Why don't you relax a bit and travel through the countryside?, you can also make a few friends or maybe eat some foreign dish'

Evelyn was puzzled by the Duke's actions but decided to comply. Evelyn left the mansion and rode her carriage travelling to the country side, she was hardly excited about going there as she is too focused on what the Duke meant and what is he planning.

*Why did he send me away for a vacation.? he's not siding with evil right..? This is preposterous. I wrote this novel and I know what is going on and what are the character details.*

Evelyn tries to reassure herself that there wasn't any changes in the characters she made.

*...Im sure that Im just overthinking it, right.?*

Her worries can even be seen on her face but she tries to put up a facade even when greeting travelers. The carriage went past the countryside without Evelyn even noticing anything. The carriage stopped by one of the Duke's Villa which made Evelyn even more suspicion of the Duke's movements.

*Why am I dropped off in one of his Villa's?*

Evelyn looked behind her quickly but was too late, the carriage already left. This action made Evelyn realize on what the Duke is trying to do.

'I knew it..The duke have been keeping my actions and movements into account lately, he was watching me the whole time.'

Evelyn's conclusions were correct and was confirmed by the original villainess,

'Yes, my father planted spies around the mansion to watch both you and my sister. I was re-reading the novel you made'

Evelyn talked to the original villainess

'..Well, how are things going for you??'

The original villainess talked about how things were going for her and what happened.

'Well...for starters, I manage to grasp on how things work in this world..It's very modern and way ahead of time!, I also used Gudle to search for things!'

The original villainess tries to speak in english terms but still not used to it.

'You mean google right?'

Evelyn corrected her which made the original villainess embarrassed

'Yes..Google!, I learned as much as I can and I think I've become fluent with English..But well-- Uhm I attended the university classes as you said so'

Evelyn panicked and asked the original villainess multiple questions

'YOU DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG RIGHT??'

After countless of questions, the original villainess reassured Evelyn

'No, Its just that doing things on my own is hard without servants.'

Evelyn encouraged the original villainess

'Dont worry! You can get used to it.'

The original villainess stopped talking to Evelyn for a while as she was tired and about to sleep since it's night time in their time. Evelyn gritted her teeth, she looks like she have alot of things in mind.

'Damn it..The carriage went pass through the country side which is near the Cartez states!'

Evelyn was panicking and couldn't calm down.

(Cartez states - Where the original female lead 'Ophelia De Las Cartez' lives, The Cartez states is famous for their mass production of drinks and wine. It resides near the country side and a bit far from Annapolis where the Caribron family operates.)

'I must do something! I need to gather some information from the nearby villages about Ophelia..'

Evelyn leaves the Villa holding a map where the nearby villages were marked. She reached thw first Village which was already night time by then, even if it was night time the villagers didn't stay in their houses as they were celebrating a feast. Evelyn was bumping into villagers as she is in a very crowded area and finally she finds the Information guild which is near the Chief's house. Evelyn entered the information guild and asked for an information about Ophelia, the man in capes which covered his whole body with his hood on and gave Evelyn a paper about Ophelia and her recent movements. Evelyn holds on to the paper and she felt malice and bloodlust coming from that man which made her nervous but decided to feign ignorance. Evelyn paid the man and left the village while holding onto the information about Ophelia. Evelyn continued her search for information and after the sun rises she finally came back to the Villa looking tired and drained without energy.

(Why does she look like a beggar?)

(She is young miss Evelyn but she's more of a hobo)

(What is she doing outside for her to look like that?)

Evelyn goes to her room ignoring the maids

*I can hear those fuckers.*

Evelyn pulled out the entire papers about Ophelia

Opheli De Las Cartez - She is rumored to be a saintess or an angel that was sent from heavens, her age is 13 this year and it was said that she will be appearing at the Capital at the age of 14. It was stated that she was once a timid and was very shy, she looked very fragile but now she changed and become energetic, kind and healthy. She achieved many things after she changed. she became a genius at medicines and herbal tea, she protected the sick and took care of poor people, she even improvised the drinks that was being made and was called 'soda' and was renowned genius of the Cartez family.
