Chap 5: In the Villa

Evelyn clicked her tounge and pasted the information of Ophelia in her book, she decided to sleep a bit as she was tired. The maids who are in charge of taking care of the villa peeked at Evelyn who was sleeping soundly on bed.

(What are we going to do?!, Young miss have been sleeping on the bed ever since morning when she came back here!)

(Sshhh!! Quiet down..She seemed tired after she travelled around!..)

*Ugh..Their noises woke me up.*

Evelyn opened her eyes and stretched, she rubbed her eyes and asked the maids who are peeking on her to bring her food. Evelyn eats the food and she looked outside and realize it's already afternoon, she sat down on the chair and started writing on a paper.

'Dear father, When am I coming back home?'

Evelyn regretfully scratched that and threw it away

'That...it sounds so cringe oh my god..'

Evelyn looked at the vase and realize there was a young maid next to her.

'Oh..young miss, is there something you need?'

She said nervously which Evelyn noticed

'Be at ease, Do you know how to write letters?'

The young maid nods her head and said

'Yes I do, I've been writing letters for my family everyday.'

Evelyn asked the young maid to write a letter for her, after she finished the letter was sent to the Duke. Evelyn then continued her studies and read newspapers about trends and what's happening in the social circles, Evelyn also considered interacting with the maids. Evelyn reads the newspaper, she saw a picture of the Imperial Prince who is riding a horse in the capital going to the imperial palace, Evelyn wasn't looking at the Imperial prince's face but rather his cape. Evelyn realized that the cape was pretty similar to the man back then whose face wasn't seen very well which made Evelyn realize why she felt malice aura from him, He was angry at her for mentioning Ophelia's name and asking information about her.

'N-no way..The man back then was the imperial prince!, but why did I feel such blood lust coming from him.?..'

Evelyn then found out that Ophelia have been sneaking in the Capital by renting a carriage and accidentally meeting the Imperial Prince who was hiding himself at the streets and was in a mission to find information about the Kansas Empire.

(Kansas Empire - An empire which is near the borders of Antropolis Empire[The empire where Ophelia, Male leads and Evelyn lives]. Their recent movements were being monitored by the Imperial Prince and the Royal family of Antropolis Empire)

That was when they first interacted and the Prince's first love.

'Oh no...I didn't realize that his highness would be in the information guild!'

Evelyn knew that her life was on edge thw moment she mentioned Ophelia's name.

*I hope the original villainess have a better luck than me..*

Evelyn continued reading the news paper to find out more on what is happening in the social circle and more of the upcoming novels this year.

*Ah..Even if I am an author who created this world, It's a must for me to read novels here too.*

Evelyn realize that a new novel was published

'OH MY GOD A NEW NOVEL!! AND IT WAS MADE BY MY FAVORITE AUTHORRR EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!!'

Evelyn was fangirling and bought the novel quickly after released.

'My favorite author in this world..., Diana Vega Beatrix! Heheh..No one knows about her identity yet except for me!'

*Diana Vega Beatrix..A character I created who loves reading and making novels, she is Ophelia's cousin and also a villain..*

Evelyn was giggling and looking crazy over the news of Diana.

*sneezes*

Diana rubs her nose

'Ah..I must've forgotten something.'

Diana adjusted her glasses as she continue doing her research. Her hair looks like collei from genshin(IDK WHAT KIND OF HAIRSTYLE COLLEI HAS BUT I'LL JUST SAY SHE HAVE A HAIRSTYLE OF COLLEI) which looks like a cauliflower and round brown eyes. Evelyn prepares herselt to go to bed and sleep peacefully, she was dreaming again but the dream was different. It was neither her nor the original villainess' memory, it was rather a dream about the future where the author Evelyn never transmigrated. Evelyn was between the crowd as she watches the original villainess suffer on the platform. It was horrifying to the point Evelyn woke up in the morning with sweats and tears, Evelyn washed herself up and continue doing her morning routine. She received a letter from her father. Evelyn walked to her sit and reads the letter,

'Dear daughter of mine, Have you been well?, I would also like to know how are things like in your place. If you ever need help, you may contact me as soon as possible. But I will have get straight to the point, You will be back at the mansion when you reach the age of 14 since as of now we are in the process of rearranging and protecting Annapolis. The Kansas empire may breach through the walls of the Antrapolis borders. Ellenor misses you but dont worry too much about us since we will be fine, I sent Ellenor to another Villa which is near the Capital. I am planning on sending you to the Central Annapolis Accademia of Elites when you reach the age of 15.'

After Evelyn reads the letter from the Duke

'Hah...I cant believe it..I will be staying here for a long time.'

Evelyn writes a letter to the Duke about her situation and her opinions, she did this everyday. Evelyn goes out of the Villa and go near one of the villages to buy a map containing the entire continent and renting a carriage to visit the countryside with one of her maids, her name is Mary and she was the one who help Evelyn write a letter to the Duke.

*I will be going to the countryside..I hope Ophelia isn't near one of those trading markets.*

When Evelyn and Mary reached the countryside they hear alot of vendors, traders and merchants selling things and was a very busy streets. Evelyn bumps into someone who was wearing a robe with a hood on which Evelyn apologizes quickly

'IM SO SORRY, I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION VERY WELL'

Evelyn saw another person who wore a cape with a hood on and it was the samw person she met at the information guild.

*THE IMPERIAL HIGHNESS??*

Evelyn screamed out in the inside but her face was very expressionless and was ready to die, but instead of the man's face not being able to see..Evelyn saw his highness' angered expression which gave her a cold feeling. Evelyn concluded that the person she bumps into was Ophelia who is also in the trading market with the imperial prince. Evelyn then leave them be while holding onto her maid and dissapearing from the crowds.

*I am only here to look for ingredients!! I didn't mean to find the both of them quickly..Im such an idiot!!*

Evelyn stopped walking and realize that she lost sight on the Male lead and the female lead which calms her down, not only that she finally bough all the ingredient she needs to cook her favorite food, but the peaceful times didn't last since some thief took her purse. Evelyn screamed out

'DAMN YOUUUU!! HELPPP SOMEONE TOOK MY PURSEE!'

Evelyn rushed off to grab the theif, she grab the theif bu the collar and punch him on the jaw which makes them faint. Evelyn took her purse and left the scene, this made Evelyn exhausted. When she and Mary arrived back at the Villa both of them rested as though it felt like they just fought a 10 year battle at war.

-Meanwhile with Duke Calibron-

'How is Evelyn and Ellenor adjusting in the Villa??'

The duke asked his spies, the spies said everything that recently happened and their current movements.

'Ah..very well, make sure to investigate about the Kansad Empire too'

The spies left the mansion.

*What a nuisance...*
