CHAPTER 2: THE BETRAYAL

"Hmm, it's not such a bad idea, but it has some complications. Firstly, don't forget that we're in war with our fellow "immortals"...

"Dark Immortals" you mean." Said Diana interrupting Devon.

"Yes, "Dark Immortals". Thank you, Diana. Okay, so we are in war with the "Dark Immortals" and their cohorts, so we need to come up with a plan with no errors nor casualties. Now, coming to your idea, blasting them with all our power and energy is very risky because, if they were to somehow avoid our attack, that would spell doom for all of us, reason being that we won't have any power or energy left to fight them, if they were to launch a counterattack. Should I continue, or do you already get it Levi?" asked Devon.

"Hmm, alright, I get your point, you can carry on with your idea." Said Levi.

But, inside a spark of jealousy emerged.

"Now, we should focus on how to gather up a significant amount of our energy into "Power Orbs" and distribute them to different part of the Galaxies." Said Devon.

"Hmm, you're right, it may not be easy, but I know we can pull it off." Said an "Immortal" named Audrey.

"Exactly Audrey, love the spirit. But while some of us gather our powers, the rest of us will have to fend off those demons, and we'll switch, so that the others will also gather their powers. Okay?" Said Devon.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good plan, though, we are in a "Time Dome." And it won't last forever, we need to round off this emergency meeting and start implementing our plan." Said Diana.

"Okay, let's begin. Firstly, who are those staying to cultivate their energies and who are those going with me to fend of those demons?" Devon asked.

As they all settled down and got their positions, they initiated their plan. Devon and Levi, were to hold up against the "Dark Immortals" and the "Shadow Demons", while Diana and Audrey, were to stay back and cultivate their energies into "Power Orbs" and send them off to different Galaxies.

"Levi, let's try to fend them off, and give Diana and Audrey time to to gather up their power." Said Devon.

"No problem. Just say "when." Said Levi.

"I don't I need to say when, because if you don't want to be utterly destroyed and hellishly tortured or made an eternal slave, you're going to know "when."

"Huh, what do you mean? I don't follow." Said Levi, confused.

"Ahh, I mean, the enemy's fast approaching. Get ready and keep your guards up." Shouted Devon.

"Copy that." Said Levi.

Meanwhile, in the "Time Dome" created by the "Immortals of Time", Diana and Audrey were quickly and hastily gathering their powers and creating "Power Orbs". Gradually, more and more and more "Power Orbs" were being created and a high level of power were put into each one of them. Their plan was a full proof plan, to them of course. It was a full proof plan because, whichever being receives this "Power Orb", that being is forced or compelled by the power in the orb, to help the "Immortals of Time" and to obey them.

BOOOM!!!

"What was that?" Levi asked.

"I don't know, but it came from the "Time Dome".... right?" Said Devon, unsure.

Devon and Levi were still fighting against the "Dark Immortals" and their "Shadow Demons" when they heard the loud sound. Shortly after that, they saw Diana flying towards the base of the "Dark Immortals" with Audrey (lifeless) on her right shoulder and a huge amount of "Power Orbs", in a large mystical net.
