As Max settled further into pre-school life, his creativity began to flourish in ways that surprised even him. Miss Emily encouraged all the children to express themselves through various art projects, and Max found himself particularly drawn to painting and building. One sunny morning, Miss Emily announced that the class would be working on a collaborative mural. The theme was "Our Dream World," and each child was given a section of the mural to paint. Max was thrilled at the prospect. He chose a corner of the mural and immediately began planning what he would create.

"I think I'll paint a magical forest," he told Lily and Tommy, who were working nearby.

"That sounds amazing," Lily replied, her eyes shining with excitement. "I'm going to paint a castle with a beautiful garden."

Tommy nodded. "I'll paint a lake with lots of fish and birds."

As they worked, the classroom buzzed with chatter and laughter. Max dipped his brush into the vibrant green paint and began crafting tall, ancient trees with twisting branches. He added mystical creatures hiding among the foliage, drawing inspiration from his second life as the Mage God. He painted dragons, fairies, and enchanted animals, each one detailed with care.

Miss Emily walked around the room, admiring the children's work. When she reached Max's section, she paused and smiled. "Max, this is incredible," she said. "Your forest looks so alive."

Max beamed with pride. "Thank you, Miss Emily. I love painting."

"Well, you have a real talent for it," she replied. "Keep up the great work."

The mural project took several days to complete. Each day, Max looked forward to adding new elements to his forest. He enjoyed collaborating with Lily and Tommy, whose castle and lake seamlessly blended with his magical forest. By the time the mural was finished, it was a stunning tapestry of dreams and imagination.

The school held a special assembly to unveil the mural, inviting parents and other students to see it. John and Margaret attended, eager to see their son's contribution. When the curtain was pulled back, revealing the mural in all its glory, the room erupted in applause.

The day of the puppet show arrived, and the children gathered in a circle, eager to watch the performances. Max, Lily, and Tommy took their places behind the small puppet theater, their excitement palpable.

"Once upon a time," Max began, his voice steady and confident, "in a land far away, there lived a brave knight, a wise dragon, and a kind princess."

The story unfolded with drama and humor, captivating their audience. Max's dragon puppet swooped and soared, while Tommy's knight battled bravely, and Lily's princess offered wisdom and kindness. The children laughed and cheered, completely engrossed in the tale.
