~A Tier 7 world, A certain planet: Many millennia before the birth of Aruhik and Sia met for the first time~ {POV ???}

On this planet, due to its relatively unique rotation and revolution patterns around the star, there is a perpetual presence of thunder clouds and rain covering almost the whole of the planet, and since there is perpetual heavy rain going on obviously there will be large rivers, seas, and oceans on this planet, but the most fortunate part the living species is that the liquid raining here is actually water.

Since there is so much water in liquid form, it can be assumed that this planet can support a variety of living species whether it is plants, animals, or other intelligent species; and indeed they are flourishing.

However, contrary to what one might expect, neither of these intelligent or non-intelligent species are at the top on this planet, there is only one major species dominating this planet and can be found on every region of this planet, from the top of the mountains to the ice of poles and from depths of the oceans to the vast sky covered with dense clouds; and this species is Spirits.

To be more precise natural-born Elemental Spirits, and most of them belonging to Air and Water along with quite a few Earth spirits as well as a small number of Ice Spirits, who have become minority due to a large number of Air and Water ones.

Along with these four types elemental spirits there is another group of Spirits on this planet, whose number is much smaller than other groups but belongs to one of the rather rarer elements of this tier 7 world, Thunder & Lightning Spirits.

Why are Lightning Spirits are rarest of all elemental spirits?

For this, we need to go over how spirits are born in the world; if explained in simple words spirit is born due to a high amount of laws accumulated at a place and suddenly a part of it getting separated from it, then before it gets assimilated back to its source the world laws granting sentience to it.

However, the world laws and consciousness don't grant sentience to each and everything, rather almost no world allows the presence of free laws separated from its origin, so as soon as laws get separated from its source the world consciousness forces it assimilates back into the world; that's why it is said that birth of spirits is a combination of multiple coincidences, with probabilities so low that if the world didn't help even half-step True-Gods might fail to produce a spirit even after a million tries.

The matter of World Consciousness granting the sentience is already a major collection of small possibilities, but this isn't the only problem as the accumulation of laws is also quite a rare phenomenon; there are two main reasons for this, first, the world tier must be high enough to be able to support this absurdity, after all, it is not like someone can take a glass of water and then wait for the water laws to accumulate near it; second, even if accumulated laws does appear it is disturbed or even consumed almost instantly by practitioners of that world for advancing into next tier or even next realm, so most of the time the laws don't get enough time to get sentience.

And on this planet, although the first issue still exists, the second issue is taken care of by the older and more powerful spirits; as the whole reason species of relatively honest and pure Spirits decided to rule a whole planet is to support and promote the birth of Spirits by stopping other species from interfering with the accumulated laws on this planet.

And the reason Lightning spirits are so less in number is that compared to other common elements Lightning Laws don't easily accumulate; the reason behind this is not so difficult to guess, after all, for the Laws to start accumulating at a certain place the constant presence of that element for a long time is necessary.

However, unlike air, water, earth, and even fire, that can stay at a place for thousands of years, the presence of lightning are quite occasional and temporary like only at the time of rain or storm; therefore, Lightning Laws only gather in peculiar planets like this one that is constantly riddled with storms and rain; also even on this planet, that is bigger than 8 Earths from Aruhik's original world, there is only one place that actually managed to accumulate Lightning Laws, even though most of the planet is perpetually covered with dark clouds and storms.

And it due to the same reason, the spirits belonging to the elements like space and time are rarely born in the whole of multiverse, after all, although space and time are present everywhere in each world, without external factors they rarely change like at the time of birth and death of the world.

On a certain day, when the storm was at the lowest of the year, on an island inhabited by few beasts below Tier 3 and no spirits; inside a cave located near the center suddenly glass-like cracks appeared in the air and began gradually expanding.

After a few minutes when the cracks densely covered the range of around 4 to 5 meters, it broke; forming a 'gate' through which only silvery-white space can be seen; but, suddenly thirteen individuals got thrown out of this portal with only six of them still standing and trying to control their stomach and vomiting urge while other four are already puking on the ground.

Among the three younger ones, one boy gathered his bearings then spoke while still trying to keep his stomach in check.

"Damn it ... that old bastard ... absolutely did it on purpose."

However, another boy of age similar to his blamed him for this.

"Like you aren't the one to blame...who told you to insult that greedy piece of shit, even though you already know how eccentric Space Sovereigns can be; f*cking a**holes, all of them; if we weren't direct progeny of demon clan Big Elders, that SOB wouldn't even have helped us get on this planet."

At this time the last of the three younger ones among the group, a girl, defended the first boy.

"It isn't Hadrian's fault, he only ...."

But the second boy immediately interrupted her with a pissed-off expression.

"Damn it my luck, this is the reason I don't allow couples in my team; if not for this being one time chance to arrive on this planet, I definitely wouldn't have joined you two."

Hearing his outburst, the boy and girl similar to his age didn't say anything else because they do know that it was really Hadrian's fault to first mock that Space Sovereign, due to which even after taking double fees that person sent them through an unstable space channel; although not life-threatening, definitely not the first choice even for the adventurous thrill-seeking ones, especially when they spent more than a couple of hours in that tunnel, contrary to the expected less than ten minutes.

And indeed they are from the demon clan, although they don't look different from Humans, their bloodline is indeed slightly different from Humans which give them traits like naturally longer lifespan, stronger physical capabilities, and better self-healing capability than humans, due to which in this world they are referred as demons; also they have secretly come here to get Laws or in their words to get Elemental Essence for ascending to the Tribulation realm and if possible cross it.

And obviously, the reason behind this group having so few people with only one of them in Tier 5, the Tribulation realm, and none above it is because they need to hide from the spirits overseeing this planet and all those above Tier-5 are well-known figures in this world so in case if this group got discovered by spirits then all these individuals will be declared as someone expelled from demon clan.

But same can't be done for those above Tier 5 as due to their limited numbers in this world they just can't be considered as expendable resources then at that time the whole Demon clan would have to face the angry spirits and how can beings born from very Laws of the world be anything but extremely powerful, especially the older ones.

Therefore this group consists of three talented Demon clan younger generation who are at half step Tier 5 and are ready to make their first contact with the wold Elemental Essence, and each one of them is accompanied by three demon clan protectors below Tier 5 to help them with day to day needs, as well as, in case of necessity, protecting these three with their life on the line; and along with these twelve demons, there is one Tier 5 demon whose duty is to oversee and guide the three talented demon clan descendants in their advancement and simultaneously try to get his realm above Tier 5.

After everybody collected themselves and were feeling fit enough to move properly, the Tier 5 demon began giving commands to the protectors.

"As already discussed, you all will be working in the group of three, now, go and search for a scheduled place suitable for resting at least for tonight. And I don't think I need to tell you about hiding from the spirits and how to do it, however ... in case you got discovered ... you know the protocol. So do your work properly and you can also get benefits from this planet, now get going."

These nine protectors have been trained specifically for this task by the clan for the months so obviously know what this protocol means, that in case a spirit discovered them then they should sacrifice themselves and must not implicate the main group; as for contending against spirits, they are perfectly aware that they have no chance of matching against even the weakest of the spirits, especially because this is the home ground and birthplace of spirits; but still they are more than willing to work as protectors for the clans younger generations because they can indeed advance exponentially on this planet.

After the nine protectors left this small cave, he turned towards the remaining three Demons and spoke in a much politer tone.

"Master Hadrian, Master Draven, Mistress Cyrine, please follow me while I search for the location of accumulated elemental essence, so after a short rest, we can depart tomorrow early morning. Also, please remember to keep reverse teleportation seals near you, at all the time."

Obviously, he will speak in a much politer tone as even though he is much stronger than those three young demons, his position in the clan is much lower.

[*A/N: Just some fun-fact, when I typed 'Cyrine' for the first time my system auto-corrected it as 'urine'..... and it took me a while to understand how this word came to my paragraph.]

The next day, early morning all thirteen began towards the direction of accumulated Lighting Essence.

Among this group, Cyrine is the one with rare lighting affinity while Hadrian and Draven have their major affinity as wind and the Tier 5 demon has earth elemental affinity which is very good in defenses and best for protecting the three young demons.

And since they know that even on this planet there is only one place where lighting essence was able to accumulate, so they decided to go near it first then search for nearby accumulated wind essence and if possible then also earth essence.

This wasn't a short journey, even with their strength and capabilities it took them little more that one month to reach the place of lightning essence; after all, it really wasn't easy for them to reach here; there are various reasons for it, first is the actual distance they had to cover was indeed quite large; second is hiding from spirits although they have equipped many artifacts to hide their presence, due to strong inherent strength of spirits hiding their tracks wasn't easy, third is the scarce of land on this planet as more than 95% of this planet is covered with water and although these demons can both fly and swim through the ocean, the chances of them getting discovered is also greater.

After reaching an island near the lighting essence they first searched for a place good enough to make their base at least for the next month then began searching for nearby wind essence as well as the distribution of other beings near that place, especially spirits, so they can avoid getting discovered by them.

After making all preparations and one night rest, the next morning team departed towards the place where Lightning Essence is accumulated; since according to the records lightning is one of the most difficult basic element to possess after superior ones like time and space, they decided to try it out first then the next day go for wind essence.

Upon reaching the location they found a vast area of more than thousand of kilometers both sky and land covered with much denser dark clouds accompanied by such a frequent flashing of lightning that constant overlapping rumbling of thunder can be heard kilometers away from the border this area.

Everyone except Cyrine stayed away from the lightning field while hiding themselves with their artifacts on a nearby island and Cyrine began entering the lightning field with determined steps; however, her nerves are constantly at the edge and ready to take out defensive artifact at any movement she sensed a fatal danger.

She well aware of the fact of many of the Demons trying to own elemental essence have brutely died and most of the rest of who survived have been disabled for the life with only a very fraction of demons being able to enter the next realm.

Due to her status as being one of the best of her generation, Cyrine had the chance have face-to-face discussions with some of the demon clan Tier 5 and above practitioners and knows, how and why they succeded, but still, she is more than willing to spend months or even years on this rather than committing a grave mistake due to her impatience. And her plan indeed worked, at least initially.

Soon four months passed, during this time her lover Hadrian has already reached Tier 5 and in the next few weeks even Darven will do a major attempt to reach the same; while trying to accomplish this both have received injuries countless times with Hadrian going as far as losing his complete right arm, fortunately, due to his ascension and his strong demon bloodline as well as with the help of quite a few of the rare medicines brought with them, he managed to regrow his whole arm.

Indeed during this time both Hadrian and Draven faced many fatal dangers and more than once reached the border of permanent physical disability, but their hard work paid off and one has already ascended to the next realm while the other is on the borderline of doing the same.

However, the same can't be said for Cyrine; in these four months she hasn't received anything more than a few scratches and burns also that too can be healed by herself in just a few hours without any scars due to the superior healing factor of her bloodline, but due to this even her progress can be called as outright pathetic compared to the other two.

Yes, Cyrine is progressing and due to the Lightning field, her progress can be called remarkable compared to when she was on the home planet but compared to the other two peers who have been giving their all while taking every chance she is indeed quite slow.

And indeed this method is many times safer compared to the one used by the two boys but there is one major problem, Cyrine doesn't have the luxury to spend so much time, after all, spirits are honest and pure but not idiots, the major reasons of them having not being found are the net small number of spirits along with their large number of superior hiding artifacts, but the longer they stay on this planet the higher is the chances of them getting found, so whether she succeeded or not they will leave this planet in two months.

It is not like every person entering this planet for elemental essence has either succeeded or died, but Cyrine knows that for her who has a lightning affinity, progressing elsewhere where there is no accumulated lightning essence or as a matter of fact not even extended presence of her element, it will be near impossible for her to advance into next realm.

Also last night Darven shamed her in front of everyone for being a coward and not making any significant progress, but the worst part for her is that even her lover, Hadrian didn't stand up for her.

Actually, watching the great progress of her lover Hadrian and companion Draven, Cyrine is also under great mental pressure, if she had been in the right mindset then she would have noticed that Darven wasn't shaming her rather he was advising her to let go her fears and increase her speed otherwise she would most likely be stuck in this level for life.

Also, it wasn't like Hadrian wasn't supporting rather he left the decision to Cyrine and is determined to help her no matter what she chooses because Hadrian himself has crossed this realm so he is completely aware of the dangers in it and if given a choice he isn't willing to let his lover face such danger but he also believes that as soon to be her life partner he shouldn't restrict her freedom, that's why even while knowing that Cyrine is slow he didn't say anything until Draven mentioned it.

Alas, Cyrine misinterpreted all this, if only at least one of them would have more straightforward about their words this misunderstanding wouldn't have happened, and neither would have the tragedy that is about to happen.

Today, Cyrine has once again entered the Lightning field with the remaining team on the lookout for the sudden presence of Spirit, and this time she is pushing herself to go deeper; however due to last nights' shame, at least according to her perspective, she completely ignored her limit and continued going deeper.

Indeed both Hadrian and Draven have taken many chances and faced multiple dangers to better and faster results but they were wise enough or rather sane enough to know the limits of their capabilities. And as expected due to the recklessness of Cyrine tragedy happened.

Cyrine continued walking further while being connected with the lightning field and simultaneously trying to make her temporary link much wider so she can finally extract a part of the lightning essence from the field and ascend into the next realm.

By this time Cyrine's body is already riddled with multiple external as well as internal burns, as the place where she is lightning strong enough to breach the protective barriers of artifacts on her body, and soon even they would be rendered completely useless, but Cyrine continued to ignore it and continued progressing further.

Soon her connection with the field was wide enough to affect Lightning Essence and so she did, but this action of her completely enraged the world consciousness, and obviously, it attacked Cyrine to stop her from hurting the laws of the world.

If Cyrine would have spent time stabilizing and strengthening her connection with the lightning essence, similar to what Hadrian and Draven did, this counterattack from the world would have been milder; alas she didn't, and she was forced to bear the full brunt of counterattack from Lightning Laws.

And World Consciousness absolutely isn't something that can be taken lightly, even Outer True Gods don't easily dare to seriously offend World Consciousness even if it from a low tier world.

But even with such great strength World Consciousness has quite a unique trait due to which even mortal dare to snatch laws from it; except for a selected few World Consciousness is doesn't possess emotions or as even a proper set thought process, due to which even though beings inside it repeatedly harm the world, except for counterattacking once it doesn't do anything else or even remember who it was that hurt the world.

So even in this case, although Cyrine is facing the counterattack of World Consciousness, if she managed to survive it, not only would World Consciousness leave her alone, she might even get huge benefits from it; however, the condition is that she does survive this attack.

The moment Cyrine began extracting a part Lightning essence from the field and instantly faced the attack of Lightning Field which literally scrapped all of her active protective artifacts in just a few seconds, she understood that has been 'a little' hasty, but last night's 'shame' and her lover's 'betrayal' suppressed her rationality so she continued extracting the Lightning Essence while bearing the attack of Lightning Field through her own strength.

However, she soon became aware of the fact that she can't bear the force of this Lightning Field through her body alone and took out a new protective artifact from her spatial ring but that too got destroyed in just a few seconds so she continued taking out a new one as due to her status she does have a lot of them, but she still didn't give up.

Outside the Lightning field, soon rest of the team noticed the disturbance in the Lightning Field at the place where Cyrine entered; Hadrian didn't even wait for others' response and almost instantly his body was covered with a thin layer of prana which is light green in color signifying the presence of wind laws in it, then he flew towards the location where Cyrine entered.

Due to being a Tier 5 as well as possessing Wind Essence, Hadrian is much faster than the rest of the team and he reached the location within seconds; and hearing the sonic boom created by his flight speed Draven softly cursed under his breath.

"Damn it, that idiot ... does he not know the meaning of plans and formation?....."

Then he spoke towards the rest of the team.

"Let us also go, that idiot couple is going to need our help."

On the other side, upon reaching the Lightning Field, Hadrian stopped just outside it because he knows that most likely Cyrine is the facing Heavenly Tribulation, and distracting her without a proper cause or necessity might prove to be fatal.

But suddenly he noticed that this heavenly tribulation is stronger than the one faced by him, and not by a little bit rather it is much much stronger; then he suddenly remembered something which horrified him, that today Cyrine shouldn't have been able to get the elemental essence so how can she initiate the Heavenly Tribulation?

Therefore, without even waiting for others he directly entered the lighting essence field, and the moment he set foot inside it multiple streaks of lightning began attacking him.

Once again noticing that Lightning is much stronger than expected, Hadrian immediately mobilized whatever little amount of Wind Laws he can manipulate and covered important parts of his body and at at the same time further increased his speed; as someone who has just entered Tier 5, Hadrian can barely manipulate Wind Laws without any repercussions but even this little amount of Laws made it possible for him to move within the field of an element he doesn't have an affinity for, at least for the time being.

After analyzing the Lightning field for a few seconds, Hadrian deduced the direction for the center of this anomaly and began moving towards it, but as he progressed further the harder it became for him to continue moving on; however, even with multiple internal and external burns as well as the extreme numbness all over his body due to being in continuous contact with such strong and concentrated lightning, Hadrian continued moving further without using any protective artifact as he believes that Cyrine might need it more.

Even with all his effort, Hadrian had to struggle for around 5 minutes to vaguely see the silhouette of his lover, Cyrine, who is now surrounded in all direction by dense multiple streaks of lightning and her previously beautiful figure is now completely covered with multiple deep lacerations and severe burns also blood isn't even getting a chance to fall on the ground as the high temperature created by lightning is directly burning it to the black dust particles.

Watching the pitiful condition of Cyrine, Hadrian grew even more panicked and gave up all his reservation for using the Wind Laws without hurting himself; this time he completely covered himself with a thick layer of prana with a much deeper shade of light green representing its stronger connection with Wind Laws and flew towards the lightning cover surrounding Cyrine while shouting with all his strength.

"CYRINE, HANG ON, I'LL SAVE YOU NOW..."

While doing all this, Hadrian completely ignored deeps cuts appearing on his body and gave his all to break the 'lightning barrier' separating him and Cyrine; whether it is punches, kicks, wind blades, tornado, storm, or just rough headbutting the 'lightning barrier' he used it all but as the time passed wounds also began accumulating on his body which will soon reach to the level of affecting his strength.

This is the difference between Tier 5 and Tier 6, although both can use laws, in Tier 5 Laws have a tendency of going out of control and hurting the user itself, that's why every Tier 5 has to be very careful while using Laws and it has always been one of the major reasons for death Tier 5 beings.

At the center of the Lightning storm created inside Lightning Field, Cyrine was desperately trying to defend against the lightning attacks but tiredness and increasing number of wounds were catching up to her; she has already let go the Lightning Essence she extracted from the field but the attack still hasn't stopped.

As once again thought of giving up came to her mind, she heard someone shouting her name which instantly let her give up the thought of letting her life go; because even though she can't understand anything from that voice except her name, she clearly recognized the owner of that voice.

Cyrine understood that since Hadrian's voice reached her ear it means he has entered this Lightning Field that when a Heavenly Tribulation is occurring in it, and even she knows that what he has done is something akin to suicide because she clearly remembers that she wasn't even able to set a single foot inside the Wind Field when he was facing the heavenly wind tribulation.

But here, now, Hadrian has entered a much larger Lightning Field while she is facing a much stronger heavenly tribulation, and in this, his Tier 5 strength would only be of little help and that too will come at a cost.

Now Cyrine was forced to recognize the fact that last nights event was nothing more than a misunderstanding on her side; there is no way Hadrian, who is willing to lay his life on the line just for saving her, would ever betray her; although Cyrine doesn't know what went wrong last night, she really regrets not properly thinking about it.

Her desire to live made her remember the important seal she was given before coming here, therefore Cyrine shouted back while barely controlling her sobs, and even though her eyes were crying lightning evaporated the tears even before they can run down her cheeks now filled cuts and burns.

"STOP.....GO BACK.....I WILL LEAVE NOW....and, Sorry...sorry..."

After shouting this Cyrine took out the reverse teleportation seal and immediately crushed it as she believes that if Hadrian is willing to sacrifice himself for her, it is nothing for her to give up the benefits from this planet to prevent Hadrian from hurting himself because once Hadrian entered this 'lightning barrier' it definitely won't be easy for him leave it especially with her as a burden; moreover, it isn't like she is able to think any other way of saving herself except for escaping using the seal.

Unfortunately, she is destined to have her hopes being crushed mercilessly.

Because the moment she broke the seal it began cracking the space around her to create a portal, but before a portal was able to form the intensity of lightning increased and it directly attacked the incomplete portal; although both were at a stalemate for a few seconds, there is no way a seal made by just Tier 7 being can contend against the very force of world itself.

As expected the portal never got completed, and because by this time Hadrian has reached quite close to Cyrine he clearly saw her failed attempt to escape using the reverse teleportation seal and it only increased the urgency in his mind to save her instantly.

On the other side, when Hadrian just located the Cyrine's position, Draven and the rest of the team reached the lighting field. Upon not finding Hadrian there Draven guessed that he must have entered inside the lightning field to for Cyrine as Darven has already noticed the much stronger heavenly lightning tribulation going even though Cyrine definitely wasn't ready for this so she must be in grave danger; in a way, it is fortunate that tribulation is going on because it also indicates Cyrine is still alive.

After deciding to give this idiotic couple a piece of his mind after this is over, he turned towards the Tier 5 Demon and the demon protectors and began giving the instructions.

"Prepare to protect them from the lightning field and bring them here once they come out from the eye of Lightning Tribulation, and, rest of you, be ready to give emergency treatment to both of them once they come out..."

Although Draven is quite a rude one, he is also quite a responsible demon who cares about his fellow clan members as well as the betterment of the Demon clan therefore he can't let Hadrian and Cyrine die because with their high potential their death would be a big blow for the clan and although he personally doesn't like them, he won't let his team members die without even trying, it is his pride as being one of the most talented demons of this generation of famed Demon clan.

As the team was anxiously waiting outside the lightning field for the appearance of two inside, suddenly a loud sound came from inside the lightning field which completely covered the continuous overlapping sounds of thunder and almost at the same time a shockwave came out from within the lightning field which every demon felt to their bones.

Also, the same shockwave spread out the clouds and lightning making it possible for them to see two figures flying towards them, one dripping with blood and the other one burned to such an extent that no visible intact skin can be found on its body.

As the severely wounded duo was about to fall to the ground, Draven understood that both must to tired to continue their that's why he instantly took flight towards them while simultaneously ordering the Tier 5 demon and rest of the team.

"Catch them, and rest of you prepare to leave we will treat them later on."

Because he noticed that scattered black clouds and lightning are once again converging, also there is a high chance that this big of commotion will definitely attract a nearby spirit so they must get back to their hideout as soon as possible.

Due to the effort spent in the last few minutes, Hadrian and Cyrine are completely drained out and are barely maintain their consciousness; when Hadrian became incapable of maintaining the flight and about to crash on the ground, a mud hand rose up from the ground which caught them; thankfully, it was quite soft which stopped them from getting more wounds due to excess inertia.

Even though the mud hand holding Hadrian and Cyrine was moving on the ground it was nowhere near fast enough to bring them out before the lightning field converged once again, so it threw them forward up in the air.

And Draven caught them one by one in the mid-air he once again took flight at his top speed towards the team. Upon reaching the team he threw the charred body to Tier 5 demon and continued flying towards the island where their hideout is located and the rest of the team followed behind him.

While flying, looking at the still conscious Hadrian, Draven can't bear but say.

"You reckless idiot really did it and saved her, but, if not for you looking like about to die due to lack of air I would have already rubbed your face to the ground."

Soon after saying this Draven's facial muscles twitched for a moment because he clearly heard what Hadrian said in between weak breaths.

"....Tsun...dere..."

"Yeah, later on, I am definitely going to make you count your teeth on the ground."

~Near the lightning field: soon after demons and spirit finding them left~ {POV ???}

Both the Demon clan team and spirits attracted by the commotion have already left this place but none of them noticed a 'small' anomaly ongoing in the lightning field.

When Hadrian clashed his Wind Laws with Lightning Laws it scattered the clouds and lightning in the range of kilometers, and most of those scattered clouds and bolts of lightning returned to the field, but some weren't able to rejoin the lightning field.

Because after separating from the lightning field few of them got contaminated by other things and the lightning field, which is the accumulation of pure lightning laws, obviously won't let the contaminated ones rejoin itself; therefore after being rejected by its source these rejected ones slowly disperse in the atmosphere.

Among those thousands of contaminated lightning, there is a bolt of relatively smaller lightning which is also trying to rejoin the field by hitting it again, and again, each hit is consuming its prana, and the moment it didn't have any prana left it will completely disperse into the world.

As it once again got bounced back by the lightning field, on its path of hitting the lightning field again a coincidence happened and it hit a lightning bolt even smaller than itself; somehow, it consumed the smaller lightning bolt and became bigger with more prana contained in it.

This isn't the only lightning bolt that combined with another one, the number of such coincidences happenings were more than just a few, but this lightning bolt was luckier as it once again faced a coincidence of hitting a lightning bolt just smaller than itself, and the same thing happened again and then again and then again.

After so many instances of hitting another lightning bolt, something changed in it, making it completely unique among all other lightning bolts, as it no longer possessed the 'instinct' of rejoining the lightning field rather it now possessed a new instinct of consuming other lightning bolts, and that is what it did.

This ended, when all of the lightning bolts either rejoined the lightning field, dispersed in the surrounding, or got consumed by that unique lightning bolt, with this unique lightning bolt being the only remaining.

After no other lightning bolt was left that unique lightning bolt hit the lightning field for one last time before getting bounced back and losing a part of its prana, then it remained there for quite some time like contemplating about its next action and unexpectedly began moving away from the lightning field, a proof that something major in it has changed as it no longer has the instinct of rejoining the lightning field.

And this is how a quite unique lightning spirit was born.

Similar to the birth of the rest of the spirits it required a set of extreme coincidences as well as the permission of the world itself to gain sentience.

However, unlike the rest of the spirits out there who at the time of their birth at least possess the strength at the level of Tier 5 and mostly above it, this one can at most be considered as Tier 1 but a little weaker than Tier 1 most of the species; also unlike other spirits who since birth possess intelligence comparable to adult humans, this one doesn't possess anything more than some basic instincts.

Once the newborn lightning left the lightning field it many new things because for it even air was something it came in contact for the first time.

Unfortunately for it, other than hitting directly it didn't know any way of interacting with all the new things it encountered because it doesn't even have eyes or ears, at most it can sense a few meters away from itself but due to inherent fast speed of lightning, even that is useless.

Soon after leaving the lightning field, it sensed there is something surrounding it all the time so it tried to do the only thing it knew, hitting it; unfortunately, air can't be beaten and even if it ionized some of the air components its senses are nowhere enough to notice those changes; however, for this newborn spirit, it took more than just a few minutes and hundreds of attempts of hitting the air to learn that air can't be hit.

Since hitting was impossible it tried to leave the air behind like it did with the lightning field, so it began moving at its top speed; however, while doing this it wasn't able to understand that it is practically doing the same thing it did while trying to hit the air, moving randomly in the air.

Unfortunately, it was once again unsuccessful in leaving behind the air; however, during its lightning speed fast movement, unknowing it traveled quite far away from its initial position and encountered another new thing which took its attention away from the air, at least for the time being; and this new thing is ground, composed of rocks, sand, and soil, so many new things to explore.

In its hour-long exploration of the ground, the newborn lightning spirit learned an interesting fact that 'interacting' can multiply and reduce the size of the stones; and obviously, it was fascinated with the first object that reacted to its interactions, so it continued the interesting task of grinding the stones.

While the newborn spirit was enjoying itself, suddenly it discovered a fact that instinctually horrified it; due to it playing around with the stones its prana is just a step away from getting depleted, and the moment it exhausted the all of its prana, it's short life will come to an end; although it doesn't know the concept of death, as a proof of it being alive it does possess instinctual fear of dying.

Therefore it immediately stopped randomly hitting anything around it and began searching for stray lightning bolts because the only way it knows of replenishing its prana is by consuming other lightning bolts.

Obviously, it didn't find any free lightning bolts or even the lightning field because unknowingly it has traveled too far from its birthplace while playing, however, this wasn't the end of the journey for this unique lightning spirit.

In most of the worlds where spirits exist, strangely enough, they have been given similar unofficial nicknames, 'Child of nature', 'Species loved by the world itself', 'Nature's darling', and many other similar names.

Spirits are indeed the literal child of nature, but this isn't the reason for them getting such nicknames; people call Spirits with such names because they believe that as someone born from nature the spirits are taken care by the world itself; although almost none of the worlds have any solid proof for this, it has been observed that world might give them trials it provides them rewards for clearing the trials.

Something similar happened with this newborn lightning spirit as well, when it was about to completely exhaust its prana it came across another new thing which was growing on the ground but the reason this new thing attract its attention at the time of emergency is that it contains prana; although the amount it contains is pathetic compared to the lighting bolts it previously devoured, at this time of emergency this much is also good enough, so the newborn spirit did the same what it did to the other lightning bolts, hitting and consuming it.

Due to the presence of the lightning field, not even small plant life are able to survive in that region due to which it took quite a while for the newborn lightning spirit to find a plant, and fortunately, the plant it found wasn't a normal one as it contained some prana, and as luck would have it there isn't only one plant in this area rather it is the start of a small forest which contains both flora and fauna.

Although the efficiency of prana conversion was pathetically low, the newborn spirit wasn't intelligent enough to understand a complicated concept like efficiency; therefore, for the newborn spirit it looked like this new thing growing on the ground can only replenish a little bit of its prana, so after that plant into burned charcoal, it began looking for more things growing on the ground that contains prana in it, because it absolutely doesn't want to experience again what it felt when its prana was about to get exhausted.

And very soon it found a whole treasure trove of prana-containing things growing on the ground; in other words, magical plants. So it did what any hungry wild creature would do, devouring everything in front of it to the satisfaction.

However, this newborn spirit can never get full from 'eating' the prana because even if it replenished all of its prana, more prana can still be consumed to increase its maximum capacity; although the efficiency of this is much much more pathetic than just replenishment of prana, at least theoretically it can indeed consume an indefinite amount of prana.

Therefore this small forest faced a disaster as the newborn spirit never felt full.

A whole month passed but the lightning spirit was still working on the same thing, turning every plant and tree containing prana it encountered into burned charcoal.

During this month it also encountered the first living thing except for plants, Insects; however, it soon discovered that those moving objects, insects, don't give any prana rather hitting them consumes prana so it began ignoring those moving things without prana.

Was the path of weakest born lightning spirit always be so smooth sailing?

Obviously no, as during this month, the world presented a sequence of similar trials in front of it, one of which appeared in the form of rain.

On this planet, on an average, it rains for more than six and half-day a week, and since this is a newborn lightning spirit, it doesn't have any real precise control over its body which is actually made of lightning bolts; therefore when it came in contact with the water, the lightning forming its body got out of control and began spreading to a wide range, which once again brought the instinctual fear of death in it.

Initially, it was lucky that Hadrian's blast even dispersed the rain clouds due to which it didn't have to face the rain in the open ground just after its birth; however, now, it can't avoid the rain.

When it rained for the first time it was the most terrifying few hours of the short life of the newborn lightning spirit because the moment it touched any water droplets or a wet surface connected to the ground it would unconsciously start losing its prana at an incredible rate.

Though it wasn't actually possible to do it, the lightning spirit did try to run away from the rain, but leaving the forest in heavy rain was something akin to suicide for it and it indeed nearly died the first time it left the forest during rain.

Therefore it tried hiding below the trees; although it wasn't completely safe, with its prana reserve even with the occasional losses due to the water splashes, at least it should have been able to hide and survive for hours; however, the rain didn't stop in just a few hours or even a whole day, it went on nonstop for days.

Due to being low on prana the lightning spirit even tried consuming trees and plants but due to them being wet because of continuous rain it lost more prana than it recovered.

So as the hours passed it once again began feeling the instinctual fear of death, unfortunately, it just didn't know what to do, and everything it tried failed miserably; however, as people say 'Spirits are darlings of nature' therefore even though this lightning spirit faced an extremely difficult trial there was also a big reward at the end.

When its prana was nearly exhausted and the lightning spirit was just one step away from death, its intense desire for prana finally made it sense something which became its life-saving straw.

Actually, as a Tier 7 world, the whole of space is filled with prana, although the concentration varies, it does exist everywhere, even on this planet; however, the concentration in the atmosphere is much much lower than compared to plants that's why this newborn lightning spirit's not so fine senses wasn't able to feel it; until its own prana concentration nearly reached the level of atmosphere.

Upon finding a 'new' source of prana, the lightning spirit began devouring it hungrily and successfully passed this trial.

Then the reward?

Now the newborn lightning has developed the capability to absorb prana from the atmosphere, although even hours of atmospheric absorption can't compare to consuming a medium-sized magic plant, the lightning spirit isn't unhappy with it rather it is quite excited about this because due to this ability now it can even survive in the open rain although its fighting capability would be close to zero, at least for now.

Then how did this prove that the lightning spirit is loved by nature, isn't it just absorbing the prana in the atmosphere?

Yes indeed, in simple words it is nothing more than absorbing the natural prana; however, the important part is that the newborn lightning spirit was capable of doing so in just a few hours after its birth and that too on its very first try; while for the rest of the species, even if they are more intelligent than this lightning spirit, it will take them days if not months and years to learn the proper process of absorbing the prana, and this newborn spirit did it instinctually and that too in less a second on its first try.

At the end of the day, the newborn lightning spirit passed the trial of rain with flying colors and even learned an important new skill; however this whole event also made it hold a grudge against water and this hatred only increased with the more hours of raining it experienced, which actually happens almost all the time on this planet; after all, for now, it doesn't even know the difference between living and nonliving thing so water has become its first enemy.

For the lightning spirit, learning to absorb atmospherical prana and holding a grudge against water isn't the most interesting thing that happened to it during this month, rather it is the discovery of the fact that by consuming more prana-containing things growing on the ground, magical plants, it can increase the range of its senses as well as its strength.

The wider sense is a greatly satisfying reward for a newborn curious lightning spirit, for whom every little thing in this world is new and interesting.

And increased strength is an even more satisfying reward because it discovered that the more magical plants it consumes the greater number of and larger nemesis it can annihilate, and the number of nemeses that exist out there is too big for this simple-minded spirit to even remember; in simple words, more water droplets and water puddles can be evaporated with greater strength and there is too much water around the spirit and that is when it never came in contact with the seas or oceans.

But the Lightning Spirit isn't intimidated by a 'small' challenge like a large number of nemesis that it can't even remember and it has determined to annihilate each and every one of them.

And the combined effect of all rewards just fueled the enthusiasm this lightning spirit to turn more trees and plants burned charcoal.

Then, soon the time came for the lightning spirit to face one more trial.

Due to this over-enthusiastic lightning spirit burning a whole lot of trees and plants, the already small forest became even smaller, and soon enough the magical beasts inside it also noticed the commotion created by this spirit.

Then on a usual rainy morning when the lightning spirit was 'resting' below a dense tree and simultaneously absorbing the atmospherical prana as well as constantly moving trying to avoid the occasional splashes; suddenly it sensed a thing moving on the tree and contained prana in it that is far greater than prana in anything else it has ever seen.

The tree under which the lightning spirit is playing around is also the home of a magical beast, a wood snake which is half a step away from becoming a Tier 1 and is absolutely isn't happy with a bolt of small lightning moving around its home while occasionally igniting a few parts of it, and the only reason its home still hasn't been burned to the ground being the ongoing rain which has put out the fire more than once.

When the snake was carefully moving closer to the lightning spirit in the hope of ending its prey in one surprise attack, the lightning spirit also noticed through its senses that a big source of prana is moving towards it; although the lightning spirit learned to not trying to consume any object while it's raining, the temptation of this much prana was too much for the lightning spirit to bear, so it did the usual, try hitting and consuming it.

However, because the lightning spirit doesn't know anything about things like hiding and surprise attacks, it attacked the snake at the very same moment it noticed a large amount of prana contained in it.

And obviously, the snake which rarely fights head-on was caught off-guard by this but it still tried to dodge the lightning by instinct, however, how can a not even Tier 1 snake's speed be compared to the speed of lightning itself, after all, even though the lightning spirit also isn't a Tier 1, its whole body is made of lightning itself, hence giving it an extremely fast speed.

Also although both snake and lightning are at the same level of strength, the lightning spirit has an inherent advantage over this snake because, once again, its body is made of lightning, therefore unless it is something like water or metal, physical attacks won't have any significant effect on it, and due to not even being a Tier 1 the snake can't do any prana based attacks.

After a few minutes, only a charred dead body of that wood snake remained on the now partly burning branch, even its prana has been completely sucked out of it by an extremely excited Spirit.

And where is the lightning spirit? It has already left the tree in happiness to search for more moving containers of prana, magical beasts.

Why? Because due to consuming this snake, the lightning spirit has finally crossed the hurdle of becoming a Tier 1 spirit; although still the weakest among all of the spirits out there, the sudden rise in strength has brought great delight to this lightning spirit, so it wasn't able to control itself and began searching for large containers of prana even in the heavy rain.

Although this planet harbors a wide variety of plants and beasts including the spirits, except for spirits there are not many above Tire 5 beings or even including Tier 4 that can be found on this planet.

Because since elder spirits took over this planet once they find any creature half-step Tier 5 or above, depending on the nature of that creature they are either thrown out to a nearby planet or directly killed.

After all, to advance above Tier 4 any creature must make contact with world laws which will ultimately disturb the birth of new spirits.

The birth of this weakest lightning spirit is already an example because originally it should have been born with the strength of Tier 5 or above, but due to the interference of the demon clan, it is lucky to just get a chance of being born.

That's why many spirits even prefer removing the Tier 4 creatures from this planet to not take any chances.

Even with all the precautions taken by elder spirits, it is not like one won't find any other species above Tier 5 on this planet; after all, this planet is just too big for just a few elders spirits to keep it completely under control.

But still, it can be considered as a job well done because now no Tier 4 and above creatures, whether intelligent or non-intelligent, dare to appear openly on this planet.

Therefore, even though the lightning spirit provoked every living creature on this small forest and has been randomly burning trees and plants inside the small forest, no creature above Tier 3 appeared to stop it.

In the last few months, the lightning spirit indeed came across many Tier 2 and Tier 3 creatures, which it just can't defeat, but it isn't like the lightning spirit doesn't know the concept of retreating; after all, since its birth, it has faced many uncrossable hurdles which has forced it to step back with the hope of surviving and coming back at a later time, a few examples of those hurdles are lightning field and rain.

And there is no way a Tier 2 or Tier 3 creature or rather even Tier 4 creature can anything more than hope to compare in speed with the lightning spirit, after all, their body is made of flesh and blood which without the support of Laws can't compare in speed with the body made of lightning itself.

Today is also one of such days, the lightning spirit has just run away from a lightning rabbit after provoking it once again for the nth time; yeah indeed a rabbit, but it is a Tier 3, powerful enough to punch a normal human into oblivion.

Why provoke this 'super' rabbit so many times? Because when the lightning spirit met it for the first time, its prana with a slight tilt towards the lighting attribute was very attractive for the lightning spirit so it directly attacked the rabbit.

And obviously it got defeated almost instantly as the body of this rabbit is much more resilient towards lightning than any other creature the lightning spirit has encountered and due to being a Tier 3, the rabbit used the prana in its body to throw out the lightning spirit which was unceremoniously inside.

Yes, the lightning ran away at that time but does it does know how to hold a grudge, therefore, it has been attempting to consume the prana inside the lightning rabbit once every few days; also, since a Tier 5 beast has the intelligence comparable to the adult humans, this rabbit's intelligence isn't too far from a 7-8 months old human, so after enduring for a couple of months this rabbit also snapped and began chasing the lightning spirit, it never succeeded though.

Now both are holding a grudge against each other and are searching for each other in this forest, and depending on who found the other one first it always results in either of a hit then chase or a direct chase.

As the child of nature, even in this comedic situation, the lightning spirit managed to learn a new skill, the ability to identify the prana signature of different organisms; although it isn't intelligent enough to remember every prana signature it has encountered, it has indeed remembered a few important ones like its favorite plants, what does 'water infected' prana feels like, as well as this lightning rabbit; the reason why the lightning spirit can find this rabbit again and again even though it doesn't have any eyes or ears.

Today also when the lightning rabbit was calmly eating a few small plants on this rare not raining hours, suddenly the lightning spirit struck it from the backside; after convulsing for a few seconds the rabbit moved the prana in its body to extract out its most hateful enemy, the annoying lightning spirit; then the chase started, once again, a once again disappointed lightning spirit for not getting its food chased by an enraged and slightly smoked rabbit who is determined to end this hateful lightning once and for all; however, this rabbit was also destined to be disappointed, as, very soon it was left behind the lightning spirit.

A similar scenario is repeated between them once every few days, but this time it ended slightly differently, as while running away from the rabbit the lightning spirit reached the edge of the forest, not on the island side rather on the ocean side, thankfully, it wasn't raining at this time.

Upon noticing the absence of trees, the lightning spirit instantly stopped and began scanning the surrounding carefully; and upon finding what has replaced the whole ground it immediately flew up to get far enough from that thing, because it sensed that the ground is replaced by a vast amount of its nemesis, water, so deep that it can't even sense it.

Therefore it believes that once it went inside this amount of water it might not last even with the help of atmospherical energy because it sensed that even prana in that region is infected by its nemesis, is slightly tilted towards the water attribute; although absorbing water attribute prana won't have any negative effect on it except for much lower efficiency, the lightning spirit just doesn't like it.

As the lightning spirit about to go down again and search for the forest, it suddenly sensed something which made it stop, soon the sound of thunder also reached it although the lightning spirit can't hear anything due to not having any ears; it has already been a few hours without rain and it is about to rain again but this isn't the region why the lightning spirit stopped, it stopped because it sensed a vast amount of dense prana is gathering above it and this prana feels very similar to the prana owned by the lightning spirit itself.

While moving away from the ocean the lightning spirit went too far and is now just a few meters below the dark clouds gathering to create another rain, and obviously, what it discovered is the lightning attribute prana, there is also water and wind attribute prana but its concentration is too little compared to the lightning attribute due to the lightning spirit ignored it.

Finding such a huge accumulation of lightning attribute prana, the lightning spirit wasn't able to stop itself and instantly entered the dark clouds.

Upon entering the dark clouds, these clouds as well as the vast amount of lightning prana made the lightning spirit feel very comfortable like it can finally relax after a long time without any worries.

Although the lightning spirit still doesn't know the concept of home, when it will know for a long time the first thing that comes to its mind upon mention of home will be these thunder clouds because for the lightning spirit these thunderclouds indeed feel like home.

After all, there is more than enough lightning prana for it consume and improve itself without needing to consume any other plants or animals, also, although the lightning spirit doesn't know, it won't face any danger from any other creatures in these skies because the sky is the domain of wind and lightning spirits, who absolutely won't any creature to harm a young one from its species.

As a matter of fact, an elder lightning spirit has already noticed this young lightning spirit and is absolutely enraged at this moment because it immediately noticed the low strength of this young spirit and understood that if not for being lucky this young spirit might have died even before it got discovered.

Therefore, the elder spirit immediately concluded that the ones responsible for the poor condition of this young one must be those filthy creatures who created a blast in the lightning field, and the elder spirit is indeed right, if not for those demon clan members this spirit would have naturally born with the strength of at least Tier 5; so the elder is angry at both itself as well as demon clan members for nearly making it lose a member of its species before it even got born and still has to go through a tortuous path to reach from where other spirits start.

Therefore as a small compensation for being negligible in its duty, it began transferring a slight amount of its own pure lightning attribute prana to this young spirit; because it knows that transferring too much of prana at a time might have a negative effect on this lightning spirit that's why this is the only help it can provide except for keeping it safe till it became capable of taking care of itself.

When the young lightning spirit began consuming the extremely pure lightning attribute prana its comfort level further increased and slowly it started getting lax and finally, for the first time, it stopped its control over its senses and body made from lightning bolts; in the words of human it went to sleep for the first time in its life.

Upon watching the young lightning spirit asleep within minutes, the elder lightning spirit thought to itself.

'I didn't expect you to sleep instantly and I planned to give you a few ... Oh! you might not have got a chance to rest since birth, but worry not, keeping you safe in the sleep is the least I can do to compensate for my negligence...'

A little more than 13 years have passed since the not so young lightning spirit went to sleep.

As the beings loved by the world itself spirits have a practically infinite lifespan, therefore the way they perceive time is also quite different from every other species; for a normal spirit, it isn't strange for them to continuously sleep for tens of thousands of years, although, in retrospect, they can also continuously remain awake for tens of thousands of years.

Maybe because this lightning spirit is quite young and weak, it slept for even less than one and a half-decade. However, during this whole time, the elder lightning spirit didn't stop supplying it with pure lightning prana even for a second, although, it did inform a few other elder spirits about the birth of a new lightning spirit as well as its special circumstances and willingly took the job of guiding this young one.

When the elder lightning spirit noticed that the little one is about to wake up, it went near to give the young lightning spirit to give what it was about to before the little one went to sleep.

Upon waking up the lightning spirit once again felt extremely comfortable, it doesn't know the meaning of sleep by it really liked its current state, so much so it once again wanted to enter into that comfortable state; and it would have indeed done so, if not for the fact that its senses picked up something that would have made it drool within moments if it possessed a body of flesh and blood.

Because the lighting spirit sensed a huge amount of extremely dense lightning prana near it, so big that its senses can't even completely gauge the size of that accumulated prana; and upon discovering such a huge amount of prana it tried to do what it has always been doing till now, hit and consume.

The elder lightning spirit, who has taken the form similar to the Panthera genus of animals but not like Lion rather somewhat similar to Cheetah, was about to introduce itself to the younger spirit, but it got interrupted before it even got to start.

Then the elder spirit looked at its right front leg and saw that the young lightning spirit is there, and if someone has to describe what is happening, then, the young spirit is trying to chew its leg however because of its near-perfect control, due to which not even a spark of lightning can be seen on its Cheetah like body, the young spirit is unable to do anything but still isn't giving up; however, the elder spirit didn't get mad at this rather he began laughing wholeheartedly.

"HAHAHA....It is good to see an enthusiastic and courageous Spirit like you, other newborns try to run away the moment they sense me for the first.....haha...."

After the elder spirit stopped laughing it continued.

"Anyway, let me introduce myself, I am the Lightning Spirit King Ramman, and I welcome you to the Spirit clan as its youngest member since it has been more than a thousand years since the birth of the last spirit; actually, if not for those deceitful creatures, you wouldn't have been born for next few thousand years and would have gotten much greater strength since birth. Nevertheless, even now you have shown great courage, so I give you the name, 'Sita', this name originally belongs to the late Goddess of Courage, someone I met long ago and even after being from Beast Tribe, Tiger Clan, is more than worthy of my respect, I hope you won't taint this name...Now, I will give...you.....you still don't know how to form eyes and ears, so.....you didn't get to hear a thing I said, right?....."

The elder spirit once again looked at its right front leg as saw that the young spirit, who just got named Sita, is still trying to 'chew' its leg without a care in the world; it released a sigh and continued.

"You really didn't hear a thing...it really isn't easy to act cool like Sita...and she used to do it subconsciously....."

This place is the best, there is so much to eat and last state (sleep) was also wonderful as I feel so refreshed also I feel that my size increased but still smaller the delicious food (rabbit) that used to chase me.

Lets scan this place once and go back again to that state (sleep) then I will be able to eat that delicious food (rabbit) without getting chased.....

'DELICIOUS FOOD....'

'UNLIMITED DELICIOUS FOOD....'

'Lets EAT.'

Then I instantly went to the food and tried absorbing but it was too hard and no matter how much I tried it didn't even budge; however, I didn't give up as I have learned to keep trying and trying until I succeed.

Even though I was working on eating the food I didn't drop my guard as I have seen that the more delicious the food is the higher the danger around it; I sensed some movements but nothing tried to attack me so focused on making this delicious food eatable.

On the other side, the Spirit King noticed the blunder of not teaching Sita, who is still trying to chew its leg, about how to form eyes and ears before giving its speech; and now it is feeling really ashamed but soon recovered due to the fact that nobody except him will get to know that it made fool of itself in front of a young spirit.

Watching that I won't be leaving its leg alone any time soon, the elder spirit formed a forceful mental connection with me and transferred some of the important information through it.

It contained information such the thing I like eating is called prana, things that I used to 'eat' prana from are plants and animals, and a few ways of using prana which will form some organs named as eyes, nose, voice box, and ears; however, the most important information it contained was the fact informing me I am a spirit, a lightning spirit although I still don't understand what does lightning element or spirit means, also I even have a something called name and my name is Sita, it told that from now on I am Sita and Sita is me.

But it still didn't tell me how to eat this hard and delicious food, does it want to eat this by itself alone? So I tried harder to break this hard food but still, this food isn't even getting a scratch on it.

By this time the Spirit King also understood that this spirit is really young to understand complicated stuff; one of the reasons it guessed is that other spirits already own their respective laws at the time of their birth due to which they don't have to face the crisis like dying due to prana exhaustion, however, this one will really die the moment it completely exhausted its prana; this explains why this little one is so attracted to the lightning attribute prana.

That's why the Spirit King only gave some basic information to Sita along with techniques of emulating basic organs of communication which were first created by some of the oldest spirits, much much older than this Lightning Spirit King, also it is the responsibility of every elder spirit to pass this technique to the newborns.

Then the Lightning Spirit King moved away from this place while removing any traces that can be traced by Sita because in their short interaction it has understood this young one has a really tenacious mindset so it will definitely be followed.

It isn't like the Spirit King will mind being followed by such an energetic young one, rather it will make it easier to teach Sita about many of the things; however, now it has the important job of collecting a debt from the demon clan.

Initially, when the Lightning Spirit King informed others about the condition of Sita, he learned that a few months ago a group of demons had invaded this planet, an Earth Spirit discovered them and managed to kill more than half of them but few of them still escaped also one of those demons had the lightning attribute.

At that time because Spirits knew that the Demon clan will never admit that those people belonged to their clan, they didn't take this matter to the home planet of the demon clan; however, nearly one and a half-decade ago when the Spirits got to know about the condition of Sita, they finally understood what those demons have done and most of the Lightning Spirits along with many other spirits reached the home planet of a demon clan.

Society of Spirits is quite different from other intelligent species, as unlike other society where its members won't even mind sacrificing their own blood kin for their goals and there is a very small fraction people who will put the betterment of their species above their own benefits, although Spirits do fight among each other also they indeed love and hate members of their own species, they act as one block while dealing any non-Spirit creature; it isn't like there are no selfish spirits out there, it is just that, maybe because of their small population or because Spirits really care about their own kin, their numbers never became a double-digit figure.

Take this case as an example:

Just for a single newborn spirit, who is the weakest of them all and might become a burden on them for coming thousands of years, except for those busy with some important task almost every lightning spirit as well as many other elemental spirits went to the home planet of the demon clan and each one them was ready to show the demon clan why nobody dares to offend the race loved by the world.

On the other side, the Demon King and Elders sweating buckets watching so many Spirits simultaneously appearing on their planet, because they know that once the Spirit race became hellbent on ruling over other species, then even the combined effort of the rest of the races might fall short of stopping them.

Therefore the demon clan made the decision of sacrificing the rest of group that returned, and yes, even Darven, Hadrian, and Cyrine were killed in the front of the elder Lightning Spirit to dispel this contradiction.

Indeed Demon King and Elders are aware that the Demon clan's reputation will sharply decline due to this but here they will be forced to face against Spirits in a life-death battle and even upon winning, chances of which happening are very low, they won't be getting any benefits; so they chose to sacrifice their own kin.

On the one side, the whole Spirit race is willing to fight for the weakest among them and it didn't even ask for something like revenge; while on the other side, the demon clan thinks that sacrificing just a few people with the greatest potential in hundred years for quelling Spirit races' anger is a good deal, also on this side Hadrian requested then begged and when everything failed he tried to fight his way out to at least save Cyrine but the Demon Clan captured him and killed him along with his lover.

This is the difference between the values of the Spirit race and any other species.

And due to these unique set of values, the Lightning Spirit King also wants to 'visit' the demon clan because last time it wasn't able to so as it had to take care of Sita, moreover, when Sita first entered the clouds it went to sleep almost immediately, therefore, only now the Spirit King found out about the actual situation of Sita, and this along with the fact that Sita can't even survive without Prana has extremely enraged the Lightning Spirit King, because who knows how many similar spirits might have born and died, without coming in the notice of anyone, due to the interference of those deceitful creatures.

Therefore Lightning Spirit King has decided to discuss with other Spirit Kings and Queens about visiting the home planets of other races, as excuses like the individuals who invaded this planet have been removed from the clan can't be accepted anymore.

Ramman didn't get the title of Spirit king only because of strength rather he earned this title because it deeply cares about other spirits and has both intelligence as well as strength to back up his ideals, that is why it is even ready to use force if that is what takes for other races accepting his terms.

Then what about Sita? Obviously, Ramman hasn't forgotten his commitment to take care of Sita, that's why it has already contacted Reva, a Wind Spirit to look after Sita.

As I was still trying to at least take a bite out of this delicious food, it suddenly disappeared; by the way, 'bite' is one of the new words I just learned from that information.

After the food suddenly disappeared it took me a few seconds to process what happened then I began searching for it but I wasn't even able to find its Prana signature anywhere near me.

As I was about to move further away from this position for continuing my search, I sensed that suddenly Lightning Prana has begun accumulating near me. It took me a few seconds to decide whether I should continue searching for that delicious food or eat prana from here.

Finally, I decided to stay as even after trying for so long I haven't been able to even put a scratch on that food, and here I can get unlimited food; no, I haven't given up on that delicious food rather I will become stronger after eating here and then search for that food so I will finally be able to eat it.

I have been eating for quite some time but gradually, once again, I began feeling a strange urge of closing off my senses and stop moving; oh! I remembered that information told me that this state is called sleep and it is beneficial to absorb prana while sleeping, therefore I let that urge take over me and went to sleep for the second time.

On the other side, upon watching Sita finally going to sleep, Reva finally released a sigh, as this hyperactive young Spirit has been constantly moving ever after it directed the Lightning Prana in the air directly towards its location.

Well, how can Reva even imagine that restless Sita has been occasionally searching for a food named Lightning Spirit King Ramman but after falling to find it for a long time it finally slept.

Sita: Peak Tier 2

I have once again woken up from the state called sleep; actually, it was the change in the quality of lightning prana that woke me up as when I was sleeping suddenly the lightning prana gathering towards me stopped.

Then began traveling to search for more new things, in every direction except for up and down because in those two directions there isn't any lightning prana, and the downward direction is even occupied by nemesis. Oh yes! From that information, I even learned the name of nemesis, just like my name is Sita its name is Water; yes, I know, it is indeed a very hateful sounding name, but I will make sure to defeat it in the future.

(Well, Lightning King Ramman forgot to include the details about the differences between living and non-living things in the information it gave to Sita, after all, for it this is something natural.)

Now I am trying to use the method of creating the organ named eye because the information said that after getting eyes I can learn about the things out of the range of my senses, and after waking up I have already searched for that delicious food but failed to find it so forming eyes might help.

Although I already got the method of forming eyes, executing it correctly is really difficult; I already lost the count of how many times I have tried but I absolutely won't stop unless I have created a completely working eye.

Moreover, I have already been successful in creating the basic structure of eyes the only thing left is increasing its durability and stability enough to be used by me but also doesn't consume too much prana.

Because upon exhausting all my prana I will die; yes, 'death' is the new word I learned from the information and I don't like what it means.

Finally, at the 307th attempt, I finally managed to create a working eye; I was getting bored but didn't want to give up, so I began counting again.

Although consumption of these eyes is too big for me to bear for a long time, these indeed let me see the world for the first time, and it was.....

Too Beautiful to be described in words.....

For the first time, now I understood how insignificant is the amount of details my senses are able to capture, and why that information stressed over and over again to first form eyes.

I saw that I am surrounded by the greyish black clouds with the occasional flashes of colorful lightning in them, from purple to blue, red to black, and gold to silver, also the color of my lightning is dark purple with occasional black lightning streaks appearing here and there; although due to dense clouds I can't see above or below, I can still see the beautiful rays of sunlight coming from above, maybe this is the so-called daytime.

So to confirm my thoughts I went up and finally saw a bright yellow ball, that is too bright to look straight at it because due to the high intensity of light my eyes completely stop working; from my information, I confirmed this is the Sun.

As I was still trying to look at the Sun while observing the upper layer of clouds, I noticed that my prana is reaching the critical level so I immediately went back to the clouds for refilling my prana as well as improving the prana consumption rate of my eyes.

Sita: Tier 3

I finally mastered creating perfect eyes and ears for my body and keep both active for a long time even outside the clouds but both fail when I start moving as they feel too slow however I also found that they are getting better with me learning from using it for a long time.

I can also create a voice box but only a temporary one as after finding it uninteresting I didn't practice it too much.

As for the nose, after making it once I left it alone because I found it completely useless.

Also, due to eyes, I even learned to count the time in days; I have kept the count of the number of days I have been awake which is 317; however, unfortunately, this the third time I am counting because I forgot till where I have counted last two times, also I am not able to count days during my sleep because no matter how much I tried my eyes always stop working when I sleep and can't even sense anything that happens during my sleep.

If not for the fact that sleep makes me feel comfortable as well as the frequent sleeping urges that I can't control I would have already stopped sleeping.

Now I can feel that I have grown much bigger so today I have decided to go down once again and meet my nemesis named Water, as I have already checked that water falling from above, which I learned is called rain don't affect me anymore.

As I left the clouds, once again the beautiful picture with so many colors appeared in front of my eyes.

Although this picture is indeed beautiful, most of it has the same color which is called blue, the color of the water. There is really too much water but I don't plan on giving up and will try my hardest to destroy all of it.

Soon I reached the place called sea or ocean in the information I received and began searching for things in the water which are named Fish.

Why Fish? This isn't the first time I came here, at that time when I was exterminating water even though water didn't attack me as a matter of fact since I have got eyes I noticed that water never specifically targetted me, the things named as Fish began attacking me so I replied with the same.

And since the first time I discovered that Water doesn't fight back and unless not used fishes, is ineffective on me, I began getting bored with just exterminating the water; therefore, now I have a new goal of exterminating all fishes, and then I'll go for the water.

After searching for some time I finally saw a group blue colored fishes and almost instantly I reached above; however, due to the range of my senses being much smaller than my visual range I didn't notice that there were actually two groups of fishes fighting amongst each other and they were shooting water arrows at each other, with some of the water arrows being directed above the water and I reached just in time to receive them.

And that sudden attack really surprised me due to which I missed my chances of dodging, and that attack made me lose more than 20% of my prana reserve.

I increased the strength of my lightning to evaporate the remaining water and once again looked at the fishes in the water below me

...I am going to exterminate each and every fish here.

During these time, few other spirits also visited near the place where Sita sleeps, plays, and hunt, to look at their youngest and most unique member but none of them directly met with Sita; there are two reasons for this:

One, not many spirits are still on this planet because negotiation between Spirits and other races about not interfering with each other didn't go well. Actually, the place where negotiation was supposed to happen was planted with traps to kill all the spirits present there in one stroke.

However, the world consciousness once again helped the spirits or to be more specific, other race underestimated the strength and unity between spirits, as Spirit Kings and Elder Spirits stepped forward to sacrifice themselves for saving the younger ones, and they indeed did it but loses were too heavy for the small population of Spirits because Earth Spirit King died, Wood and Water Spirit Kings received severe wounds which have permanently reduced their strength, and many more Spirits died or got assimilated back in the world due to using Laws over their limit.

And there is no way Spirits can let this go by, after all even though it can be said that every Spirit love each other rather there are cases like Fire and Water Spirits who even hate the presence of each other, the same pair of Spirits would be more than willing to work together while looking out for each other's back when dealing with other races.

So what happened after that was a pure massacre, as although the population of Spirits especially after that trap is really negligible compared to other species, each Spirit is born with at least the strength of Tier 5 and mostly Tier 6 as cases like Sita is quite unique, while for other races Tier 5 is the benchmark where either most individuals stop or die.

Therefore even after executing that trap and combining all races fighting against Spirits the number of individuals above Tier 5 is significantly smaller than those of Spirits above Tier 5; so other races decided to make up their deficiency by including a large quantity of Tier 5 and below individual, and their population is indeed much much larger than Spirits.

So even though Spirits never actively attacked common people, just deaths of people entering the fight have reached the astronomical figure; Spirits also suffered casualties, after all, there is no way any of the sides can remain unscathed in such a big war but the number of Spirits that died still hasn't reached a two-digit figure.

And no Spirit wants to remain out the war that will decide the future of their race, so the Spirits still remaining on this planet are only the necessary ones for guarding this planet and they can't leave their post for too long for playing with Sita as they know that if defenses this planet got breached then Sita absolutely won't be able to survive.

The second reason is that for Spirits staying on this planet, the position of Sita in their heart is that of a pure and naive kid who still hasn't seen the ugliness of the world and they absolutely don't want to involve or even let Sita know about this ugly war where a peaceful negotiation turned a trap which snatched so many companions from them, at the very least not this early.

Unfortunately, more often than not plans don't work out as expected, after all, how can someone easily predict what will happen even in the next few moments; therefore, unexpected changes might appear in plans, sometimes they are small and insignificant while other times those changes are so big that...

Sita: Beginner Tier 4

This is the fourth time I sensed these strange waves of dense prana, just this time it is much stronger.

When it appeared for the first time I was sleeping, and even though I thought my senses don't work while being asleep, these prana waves immediately alerted me and woke me up; maybe because those waves were too strong and prana in them were much denser than anything I have ever sensed.

Last three times, I have already tried going to the place where these prana waves were being generated but each time a wall made of air stopped me from going any further, I tried everything but wasn't able to put a single dent on that air wall; also, each time, those air walls disappear soon after prana waves stopped coming.

And this time, I am determined to go past the air wall and reach the source of prana waves, so I began moving towards the direction where prana waves are coming from.

And as expected, soon I once again saw the air wall made of greenish-blue winds, but I didn't stop and continued moving forward and even accelerated while simultaneously using my prana for increasing the strength of lightning covering me.

In recent days I have discovered that although this direction collision consumes too much prana, this is indeed the strongest attacking method I have found, and those fishes have been able to survive this attack.

However, just like last few times, I got bounced back with even greater speed then I struck the air wall with and nearly went into the hateful sea below me; but I am not depressed and entered the clouds to refill my prana for making another attempt, anyway, it isn't like this is my first failure, I just have to try again, with greater strength.

After refilling my prana and increasing the intensity of lightning, I once again began speeding towards the air wall; however, this time something unexpected happened.

When I was just a little distance away from the air wall, it broke and a much stronger wave of prana appeared from behind it; I instantly sensed that it and knew I can't face it directly, so I immediately began consuming my prana at the maximum rate for forcefully changing my direction and barely missed the prana wave.

However, I still wasn't safe as I saw wherever that prana wave passed, space is getting filled with silvery-white lines and patches, which actually looks like cracks; I don't know what these cracks are but my senses are telling me that they are very very dangerous.

Therefore, I began moving away from here, however it was already late, as almost instantly the area or the very space in front of me broke down into small pieces and the next thing I knew was that I was inside a silver space full of storms made of silvery winds and opaque silver crystals.

Recently war has even reached the home planet of the Spirits and both sides have fought each other multiple times, one with the goal of destroying the planet while the other one with the goal of protecting it.

It isn't like Spirits are losing, rather they had always been one with the upper hand in this war. It is this attack strategy that caught them off-guard as it was executed with the goal of exploiting a major weakness of the Spirit race.

Due to being born from nature itself, all spirits possess a predetermined elemental affinity which is although quite superior to the elemental affinity found in other species, due to the same reason except for doing basic manipulation they can't really manipulate other elements outside their affinity.

Therefore Spirits can't possess the non-conventional elements like space, time, emotion-related elements, fate, and other similar ones; or rather the accumulation of these elementals laws is in itself a very rare event even in many top tier worlds so obviously birth of Spirits with these elements is nearly impossible.

And here, the ones attacking the home planet of Spirits are mainly the ones with space affinity, giving the strike team the advantage of extreme mobility but Spirits don't have any way of directly countering the space element which has forced two of Spirit Kings to come back from the frontline for guarding this planet, after all, this is the main birthplace of lightning, water, and wind Spirits which can't be lost or even disturbed at any cost.

That's why Spirits has been at constant alertness against surprise attack and because other spirits still haven't returned, only a few elder spirits along with the two Spirit Kings have to reach the attacked location in moment's notice and deal with attackers, which really isn't an easy thing to accomplish, especially on a planet as large as this and if they missed the timing even once it might cause irrecoverable damage to their home planet.

And Reva is one of Spirits staying on this planet, as it is a relatively younger wind Spirit born with and at the strength of Tier 6 and because of its low experience in the frontline fight has been tasked with defending a part of the planet as well as looking out for the enemy's movement sign. However, along with this, Reva has been given one more important task by the Lightning Spirit King itself, that's taking care of the youngest lightning spirit, Sita.

Although Reva sometimes feels that taking care of overenthusiastic Sita is a hassle, it has now begun liking Sita, and instead of taking this job as a responsibility towards the younger ones as well as a task given by the Lightning Spirit King, it has now genuinely begun caring for Sita and watching the daily struggles of Sita become its favorite pastime for when it is out of the defense shift.

Although Reva never slacked off in its defense duty, subconsciously it also never thought that its home planet will suffer from a serious attack; because even though spirits have taken control of tens of planets from their enemies, not even once they have directly interfered with the planet in a way which might affect the survivability of their enemy race on that planet; therefore unlike the elder spirits who have first hand seen the despicableness of their enemies, the naive self of Reva didn't think their enemies will actually try to destroy the birthplace of Spirits...

However, very soon, the naive Reva received a hard wakeup call, as the home planet of Spirits received a surprise attack and their goal wasn't concurring this planet or even killing the Spirits staying here, their only goal was destroying the environment of this planet, also Reva and other Spirits barely managed to stop their enemies from destroying the birth environment of spirits.

Moreover, Reva even heard from Darkness and Shadow Spirits acting as spies in the enemy territory that their enemies have been calling the Spirits Race as idiots because Spirits never did the same to planets conquered by them but their enemies are spreading the false rumors about the same for recruiting more people and covering up their despicableness; however, even with all this Reva is still proud of the choices made by the Spirit Kings; let's say that those with strong will don't easily change their principles.....

Now the planet is attacked for the fourth time and Reva is stopping the waves generated by the fight from affecting the planet; although this job isn't easy for just a Tier 6, Reva at least managed to make the waves passing through its shield to be relatively harmless.

However, even while being this busy Reva is forced to do one more job, that is stopping Sita from approaching anywhere near the battlefield; Reva doesn't know why Sita wants to approach the dangerous battlefield where even a Tier 6 will become practically useless.

Maybe as always, that overenthusiastic Lightning Spirit is trying to satisfy its curiosity, after all, it has even seen Sita diving straight inside water, that too more than once, from what it can perceive that was just for checking what is inside; however, no water what Reva can't let Sita cross to the other side of the barrier because it is incapable of surviving even one prana wave produced due to the fight going on; therefore, just like when Reva forcefully pulled Sita out of the water, it has has been blocking Sita from coming in direct contact with these dangerous prana waves.

However, the strike team didn't plan on letting this situation continue, after all, even with the element of surprise they failed to do any actual damage to the planet rather two of their own members have been severely injured; therefore they have decided to complete their goal even if they have to pay for it.

That's why at the cost of the death of one and fatal injury to three of them, two Space Sovereign managed to send an attack at their combined full strength; and obviously, Reva's barrier completely failed to stop it, and by chance that attack was directed at the place where Sita was trying to cross the barrier.

Although this attack completely broke its barrier, Reva didn't care about the attack that was going towards its home planet rather it immediately went towards the place where Sita was last sensed by it, as due to space itself breaking down Reva's senses were unable to sense anything and although it's is rationality is telling that someone as weak as Sita can't survive the breaking of space, it didn't want to believe that their youngest member died just like that.

But upon reaching there Reva came face to face with the horrifying fact, Sita... isn't here anymore as Reva itself confident enough of surviving the scene in the front of it because space itself still hasn't healed back and is covered with silvery cracks and patches.

Reva is already quite attached to Sita after taking care of it for such a long time, and the shock of losing Sita just in the front made Reva doubt its principles of not severely hurting the other species for the first time, after all, it just saw the youngest member of their race disappear in front of it and that is when Sita hasn't even participated in this war even though the cause behind this war was the reason for Sita's low strength, but still, because of them, Sita isn't here anymore.....
