Chapter 51

Magni:

Fuck I don't understand why I am sent on this shitty mission. The last time I was told to do something by a king of Asgard, I lost my… My fists clenched at that thought. Grabbing the uru gauntlet my father commissioned the dwarfs for me after he ascended the throne.

Like my father's weapon, this one had a special ability too. Mine could almost double my strength and durability. I was just as strong as my father without his hammer before I got the gauntlet, now I surpass my father's strength.

On the bright side, I can use this chance to relieve some of my pent up stress. With that thought in mind, I make my way to the observatory and signal Heimdall to transfer me to that waste of a planet where most of the enemies are located.

"Fucking dessert." I scoff before allowing my gauntlet to fly me to the closest Chitauri scum. I give it a punch, breaking its neck before moving on to more prey.

They were going to a city a few kilometres from this desert. I tear a couple more to pieces before moving to the city named Las Vegas according to the sign. It was a shit show, buildings were being destroyed, people were being gunned down by the enemy and a giant green beast was fighting a giant flying whale.

The beast landed a mighty punch against the whale sending it flying through a giant building, which probably killed a few hundred people. Not that I care what happens to the plebians of this planet. It was impressive and I didn't like being shown up by a beast so I immediately searched for another so I can show the planet the might of the crown prince.

It doesn't take me long and as soon as I see it, I punch my hardest sending it flying into the sky. I wanted to hit it against the building but I didn't want to be lectured by my father about being dismissive about collateral damage.

"I see they brought the riff-raff." The familiar voice of my cousin greets me.

"What are you doing here, halfbreed." I scowl up at her. I was doing this mission to get my annoyance out of my system so I wouldn't have to deal with an annoyance. "Did those elvish cunts smarten up and throw you away."

"I see you got a new toy for you to play with." She points at my gauntlet. "Figures since you can't spend your nights alone with your right hand anymore."

"Fuck you," I say before throwing a car at her. It gets split apart by her filthy ice magic."Jotun scum."

"As much as I would enjoy trading insults with you. I have to deal with these Chitauri who are trying to destroy one of my favourite cities." She says, "Take the comm, it is connected to a group of individuals who are fighting this army too." She hands me the device before flying away.

I contemplate destroying it but decide to put it on. At least it would be better talking to a child of Loki.

"Hey, Hercules. Two more of those Leviathans are heading your way." Someone communicates over the comms.

"Who," I asked confused.

"You." The man says and I growl at him. Who does this mortal think he is, disrespecting a crown prince of Asgard?

"I am Magni Thorson. You mongrel." I say, quite angry. He was lucky I didn't know who he was, otherwise my hand would have been imprinted on his face.

"Ease up on the boy Stark. The guy has quite the ego on him and would probably pay you back later for that insult." Elsa, my half-breed cousin, supplies.

"Got it, Killer Frost but I am sure I will manage."

"Where do we find these guys." Another female voice asks but I just ignore everything further and begin attacking the two leviathans/ whales that were incoming. Fucking Chituari and fucking Midgardians.

Wanda Pov:

I blast one of the weird alien creatures. Suddenly I find myself in a new spot. Confused I see a blast in my previous spot and see my brother not looking too happy with me.

"Focus on your surroundings, I won't be able to save you from every stray attack." He says and I just give him a serious nod. I can block their weapons but it is an active ability and not a passive one. Becoming paste sounds really unappealing, so I don't even bother arguing.

"I will be better. Plus there are only about 200 left in our country."

"Running around so much is making me exhausted and certainly doesn't help that these guys are so spread out, only moving in a small squad of ten."

"Can you run to the next group of them," I asked concern

"I don't believe so. I may have super stamina now but I have already run us through 5fth of the country."

"I can try and heal your exhaustion. I haven't practised healing with my powers but Loki has told me it is possible."

"I rather not die because of you being inexperienced."

"My powers work on my intent so I am sure I can easily choose not to hurt anyone I don't want to."

"Still we should experiment later and I am sure I am not the only one exhausted." He says and before I can retort, he adds. "I don't want our people to suffer, either but if I have to choose between them and you. I will choose you."

"Fine but we could ask Loki for help."

"Why would he help us, sure he gave us powers but only as an experiment. Didn't you tell me he has children and two women, so he has other priorities than us?"

"What are we talking about?" A new voice comments curiously. A smile unconsciously appears on my face upon discovering it is Loki.

Loki Pov:

Of course, I know what they talked about. Pietro is trying to ruin poor Wanda's crush on me, which is fair since it is the generic protective brother thing. Unfortunately, I just caused his words to become invalid by showing up.

"Are you guys trying to become superheroes? I am not surprised but why are you only trying to stop this invasion the long way. Just destroy the command chip up there." I say with a shake of my head and point at the sky.

"Unless you have a nuke around I doubt we could destroy that ship," Wanda says.

"No, but all the countries on this planet who are worth a damn, have one. Secret ones of course. Just get me a laptop, speedy and I will take care of this." My personal Wally West speeds away, returning a few minutes later with a Dell laptop.

The Avengers are already formed or at least decided to team up for this current situation. They are currently clashing against a wild son of Thanos with a thousand Chituari who have his back. The current members are the same bar Thor who surprisingly didn't send a whole batch of Asgardians to come to defend earth.

Grabbing the shitty dell, I hack into the different governments at the same time. After a few minutes of working through their firewalls and shit, I see at least 5 different nukes launching and heading to the command ship. It's a bit overkill but I find pleasure in causing 5 different countries to lose billions.

There is a chance some parts of the ship will fall on the planet and kill a few thousand but that is the USA, Japan, Russia, China and Brazil's fault, at least that will be what the majority of the world will think. Better a few thousands than millions I suppose.
