Chapter 24: The Door

"It feels great to be back!”.

Neifion Dacus, after entering the majestic halls of the mage castle Cynffon Mwnci, sat down on one of the many long chairs surrounding the grand marble table.

He leaned back, resting his feet upon the smooth marble surface, relishing the beauty of his surroundings.

“Great having you back, buddy! We`ve all really missed you”.

A fellow mage sitting amongst the many mage’s others at the marble table, with a large jug of ale in his hand, greeted Neifion with a loud cheer that was followed up by more cheers with jugs all rising the jugs up in the air.

“Did you really go to the Snowcoastal Tower to help Edwina with nothing but a tiny book that contained only doodles on its pages?”.

Lili Hughes eagerly took a seat besides Neifion as she joined the mages in the hall.

“Surely, it worked out in the end, as Edwina and I were ousted from the tower and thrown into the snowy terrain to find our way back home”.
