CH 22: Heroes.....

"Aww, how longer do we have to go now? I'm already tired."

Rem asked. After the battle against the Demons army on the fortress, It had been two days.

"Can't you endure just a day longer? We are almost near the Demon King's castle."

Ram responded to Rem's complain.

"But I am not much stronger in physique like you and we have been walking for entire two days! Just why did we had to leave our mounts behind? *Sigh*"

But Rem didn't ceased to complain to others. Rem and others had undergone a unique transformation when they were summoned in this world.

Their physique had improved much stronger than any average adult human and now they can even use different powers like magic.

But Rem didn't had much increase in her physique and still had a small body as before. Even though she was almost 17 years old, there had still not been much change in her height, making her almost like character mentioned many times in anime, a Loli.

But even If she didn't get much increase in physique, she instead got a unique power which allow her to communicate with magical beings called Spirits in this world.

Which allows her to borrow power from these spirits and she is even able to summon King-level spirits, which is known to be strongest level of spirit ever known, of each four basic elements to fight for her.

And she did all this in just three months, making her to achieve the title of 'Spirit Princess'. But still her physique still not much better than other of her members and they had been continuously travelling for two days with few breaks, making her tired.

" Ram, I'm now starting to envy your power now."

"Ohh really, If I remember correctly as soon we discovered our powers, you were mocking me and calling me a 'Muscle Brain', weren't you?"

"..."

When Ram responded, Rem could only try to avoid angry Ram's gaze on her. As in the past, Rem had mocked Ram for having a lame power compared to her.

Even though Ram had same small body as Rem, she was the most strongest in strength alone than others. With her already improved body, she awakened the power to increase her body strength further.

But for some unknown reason whenever she use her powers, a pair of white cat ears and a tail grows on her body. Not only that, It even enhanced her all body senses which allow her to found almost any hidden threat and can also be used for scouting and tracking.

"Come on now you two, we are almost about to reach our destination. But still If Rem is tired we can rest for a hour at least."

Arthur suddenly interjected between them likely to stop the conflict that was about to happen between them.

"I knew It. Only Arthur truly cares for me!"

"Hmm."

As Arthur decided to stop for a while, this greatly pleased Rem and now was showing cute smile to Arthur. And Ram stop her conversation with Rem and kept quiet, but with slight blush on her cheeks as Arthur smiled at her too.

"So what other think about this?"

"I-I-If Arthur says so, t-than o-okay."

"I also don't see any problem with that."

As Arthur asked from others, Mia agreed with blushed cheeks as Arthur's gaze suddenly turned to her and Ayaka also agreed as she didn't found any problem with that.

"So what about you, Suzuki?"

"..."

When Arthur asked about Suzuki's opinion, she just remained silent. She knew very well that as long Arthur made any decision, all other girls would immediately agree with him.

So It wouldn't even matter even If she agree or disagree with him. At first Suzuki had thought to immediately reach Demon King's castle as soon as possible as they had already defeated the Dark Knights who had ambushed at them.

After defeating their most elite knights, It was a perfect opportunity to attack on Demon King's castle as soon as possible with giving them no time to recover from there loss.

 She had left their mounts behind, which actually had the ability to fly and It was because of this they were able to cross the huge forest and surprise attacked the fortress.

At first It might seem foolish because If they had been traveling with their mounts they could had reached their destination much faster but Suzuki knew that none of them was experienced in fighting in mid-air.

And If Dark Knights had attacked them with their wyverns mid-air, they might had been in big trouble. As Dark Knights were also know for there excellent wyvern riding skills.

Still to improve their traveling speed, she had to ask for Mia to use her buff spell continuously to prevent them from tiring easily.

But during their travel, they had encountered many wild monsters. Even though they had fought against monsters before but the monsters here are more aggressive and powerful than they had faced before.

They even had to fought against monsters that they were seeing for the first time.

Thus now It would going to take about three days before reaching there, Still this was only possible because of their now super strong body.

"Yeah, I think we should rest for while now, we wouldn't want ourselves in tired state during of coming battle."

So she also agreed to rest for a while since she didn't think that their enemies would be able to do something even If they rest for hours.

Suzuki began to open her [Space Inventory] and pull out all necessary items and food. While she and others began to prepare for rest and to set a watching route against any wild monster.

Suzuki saw that Ayaka was looking towards the land where their destination was.

"What happened? Did you sense something again?"

When Suzuki asked, Ayaka looked towards her and moved her head.

"No, It's nothing."

And went to others. Suzuki thought about the behaviour of Ayaka right now but she shrug It off and also joined others.
