Chapter 8

As we finished our meal, it was already late. We got out of the restaurant and waited for Kevin to bring his car from the parking lot.

As soon as he brought his car we got in. On our way back home we did carpool and I and mama thanked him for this wonderful night. It's true that I needed this a lot 'cause it was getting really stressful. This night was truly an amazing night. It was very refreshing.

The place was a little bit far away from my place so I decided to take a short nap. After a while I heard someone calling my name and shaking me to wake up. I slowly opened my eyes and saw we were already in front our home. I got up.

We once again thanked him for this wonderful night. Mama invited him to stay with us just for today as it was so late and his place is very far. He agreed and went to park his car.

We were left there all alone. We started to chat 'bout tonight when suddenly an all-black-coloured van appeared. It was nothing suspicious but still I got the feeling. After seeing it park a few yards far away from us I continued with mama.

In the meanwhile, in the van Mathew and his henchmen started to get ready for their missions and prepare their weapons.

-Boss, it seems like the girl suspects us. She is looking at us.

-It's nothing. She must be feeling weird seeing a huge van coming in their neighborhood. Look she looked away. It was nothing I told you.

-Boss everything's ready. Shall we go?

-Wait on my count.

He signaled them with his hands and everybody got out of the van.

First they all walked normal until they got close to us. They started to hurry and at one point one of them got mama and two of them tightly got a hold of me. I tried to break free but in vain. Their grip was so tight that I was starting to feel pain. Then I remembered 'bout Kevin. The moment I'll start to scream they hold my mouth with cloth so that I can't scream or make any noise. As I got nervous I breathed heavily. And after a moment I started to feel dizzy. I tried hard to keep my eyes open but I couldn't. Everything was going blurry and the sounds were getting funny and unclear. But I could still see mama crying and trying to break free and call my name, I couldn't answer it. I saw Kevin running towards me but two of them hit him with a rod and he fell down on the road but still trying to get me. Then everything went black.
