EVERYONE were present, both couples family, Greg, some school mates, the press and Liz's work colleagues. All and sundry had come to witness the procession.

The juries where set up. "Order! Court!"

All fell silent.

Liz's family had come mainly to see Liz and welcome her back home.

"Barrister Ferdinand what is the case?" The Lord asked.

"My Lord, a case of divorce have been brought upon your custody" he replied.

"The documents?" The Lord asked.

"All legal documents are ready my Lord" he replied.

"Good. May they step forward"

"Mr Spencer Murphy and Mrs Elizabeth Rhyndorust, please step forward for the case to begin" a lady amongst the jury ordered.

Spencer, without any hesitation stood from where he sat beside Aunt Rachel and his family, stared at Greg quickly for encouragement and walked steadily to the podium at the left.

Some minutes passed but Liz wasn't out yet. The lady repeated; "Mrs Elizabeth Rhyndorust!" But there was no reply; "Mr Spencer is your wife here with you?" The woman asked Spencer who was thrown aback.

"Where is Liz?" He said rhetorically.

It was a total disaster. Everybody went home disappointed. Spencer was most of all ashamed. Seriously speaking where was Liz? Where else did she go to that was much more important than her divorce suggestion?

Spencer encroached into her house in annoyance.

"what is the meaning of this Liz?!" He roared at her. She backed him, sitting on the dining chair obviously sobbing.

Spencer was confused but the anger inside him submerged him.

"I couldn't come"

"What do you mean you couldn't come?! Everyone were ready, waiting for you!" He roared again in anger and frustration.

"I couldn't okay... I changed my mind!" She roared back, turning and facing him now.

"But you wanted this! Isn't this what you wanted Liz?!" He staggered her.

"Not until Meghan came visiting" she wept loudly.

"What has Meghan done again?!" He asked, getting more angry.

"She...she came here to apologise... She said you didn't lay with her on purpose..." Liz wept uncontrollably.

"Oh, is it now you're knowing?" Spencer wasn't at all surprised.

"I'm sorry Spencer...I should have heard you out" Liz apologized with tears in her eyes.

"But that doesn't matter now Liz, first thing tomorrow you'll report to the court for the divorce. Don't fail me" he turned to leave but heard what made him stop.

"I-don't-want-a-divorce" Liz shrieked from the cry.

"You don't... What...what do you want Liz?! What?! What's your problem?!" Spencer said in rage.

"I'm sorry... you're not our child's murderer... you're not a cheater...I take back all those bad things I said about you!"

"I'm done with this marriage Liz! I'm done with this relationship!" He was in tears now.

Both couples looking like there was no tomorrow and all will end today. Spencer stared at Liz through his wet eyes. She was in pain, it showed. She hasn't been herself lately, Joshua's death had hit her so hard and that was what caused the insanity.

Something like a heavy weight moved out of Spencer's heart and he cupped her face with his hands surprisingly and Liz lit up. "Let's start again. This time with trust"

They kissed passionately.
