The Start

"Wait why I am screaming and from where do I hear that scream?"- thoughts of the pure white wisp

"You! What's your name and where did you die?" - from an unknown source.

Scared of the voice the pure white wisp grabbed the light source again and started looking around in search of the source of the voice.

"YOU!! How dare you touch me again?!!"- from the unknown source

"Wait he said touch me again?", startled the pure white wisp looked at the light source and asked.

"You are the one who was screaming and speaking?"

"What else do you think? Who else is there who will be speaking? The floor? The sky? Your inner self?", said the light source with some sarcasm.

"Sorry I thought you were my prize which I won after climbing the staircase."

"Hmm, I can pardon you for all that, now answer my question who are you? And where did you die?"

"My name was Wei Qi Zhang. I died at the First People's Hospital of X, China"

"I get the name but what is this China? Wait for a second"

With that being said the source of light went silent as in contemplating something or thinking something.

"Ok, tell me the name of your planet."

Startled by thinking about the scope of the question I answered, "E-e-arth!"

"Hmm? I don't think I know this planet 'E-e-arth'. Is this a new planet?", said the light source with a bit of astonishment.

"Sorry! Let me repeat it's Earth, I was startled by the question and stammered. Sorry about that"

"Oh, so Earth! That makes it easy for me to search for you. Wait for a few... What's that phrase you earthlings say for signifying an undefined time?"

"Wait a few minutes?", I asked with a bit of uncertainty.

"Yes yes wait for a few minutes while I search for your information"

With that said the light source vanished from plain sight and I was alone standing on a vast platform.

Some minutes went by and I am still waiting for the return of the source of light. Bored I started walking in a direction to ascertain the boundaries of this platform.

After walking for like an eternity I still can't reach the end of this platform and suddenly.

"Oh there you are, you are a curious earthling I suppose. Do you want to see the end of this place? Wait I will help you with that."

With that being said I sensed no change but I can see a boundary and as curious I was I went to see what I can see from the boundary and I saw a huge platform below the current platform where wisps were manifested from thin air.

"So what are you thinking that you have satisfied your curiosity?"

"It feels like a machine where new inputs come over and over and then some things occur which I don't know. By the way, I have a question."

"Sure go ahead and ask I will answer depending on the question."

Depending on the question the light source said, but why depending on the question? I think many things are hidden here or some important things that go on here.

"I was curious why is the platform this big. Like is this to make it feel magnificent?"

"Long time ago this platform used to be filled with wisps like you who have successfully climbed the staircase but recently wisps like you can't reach this place at all. You are the first one after like 1000 Earth years or maybe more. Do you remember I screamed when you grabbed me? I was sleeping like that for a long time and so when you grabbed me I forgot where I was and what was my responsibility."

"Ok, so a long time ago it was filled with like it is below now? And another question who are you? Or more like what are you?"

"I will answer the second question first. I am a GOD in Eathly terms I am a GOD with the power of creation and some pretty good destructive power. And for your first question, I have a question for you. How did you climb the staircase?"

I was surprised when I heard the first half of the answer like I am in front of GOD himself. Like I have so many questions now like if this being in front of me is a GOD when why nothing happens when some people on Earth do so many wrong things and do so many atrocities? But I will ask them after I answer the question first.

"When I stepped on the first step of the staircase I realized that I can't rapidly climb the steps of this staircase because if I do so then I will never reach the end of that staircase I will run out of gas. So I took my time to climb one step at a time with taking ample time to rest and refuel my gas on each step and after some time of that iteration I forgot that I was doing it consciously and unconsciously I started climbing the steps and I stopped once I reached this platform where I saw no steps in front of me. I was climbing the steps initially with the to reach the top of the staircase but later on. I was climbing without any aim."

"Wisps like you are extinct in the recent time, where you exhibited a strong focus without thinking about what you will get after all the effort you are going through. So with that being said did I satisfy your curiosity?"

So people like strong dedication and focus are rare, maybe this answers my unasked questions. GOD doesn't feel that people are worthy of their care and guidance anymore.

"Yes, you have satisfied my curiosity."

"So it's time to do my task that you have reached here and here we go!"

This GOD is somewhat childish I think, I know it's weird that I am asking that a being who is older than all my ancestors combined is childish but come on you can see how he behaves. Wait is it a he or a she? I think it's neither I think Gods are gender neural because gender is a concept from Earth.

Wait where am I? I remember I was close to the edge I think God teleported me again to the starting place where I went with this God.

"Ok so first thing first, you successfully climbed the staircase, and since you have a pure white hue. You can choose the type of world you want to be born in and another thing but first you have to choose the world. Only after you have chosen a type of world I can decide what type of reward I should give you. Seriously I need to give you a lot of gifts."

I was confused so I can choose where I will be born to. Like I have total control over it? So my birth to my earth place was not a coincidence? I choose to be born on Earth?

"Hmm, what type of worlds are there in this universe?", I asked with a bit of confusion.
