Emerald Forest

After about 15 minutes or so, me and Celos finally got to the outskirts of town and to the Emerald Forest. Man was it beautiful, with bright green wood that had patterns engraved on them, along with gorgeous sea green leaves with intricate lines and shapes.

"This is only the model X?" I thought to myself. The graphics were just stunning. Regardless, after a few more minutes of walking, we reached the heart of the forest. That's when I saw it, a white deer with emerald-green antlers. It was drinking at the pond on the far side of the area.

"Okay, I'm going to teach you how to cast a spell," Celos said. "First, you have to take your staff and spellbook out. After that, you need to open up your book and look at your first page. Since you have a PC[1] staff, your first rune will be a pyro. So, stand up like me, straight and tall, then draw the rune, and finally say the word 𝒑𝒚𝒓𝒐."

I aimed my staff at the deer and did what Celos instructed. Immediately, a fireball about the size of a fist formed in front of my staff, and went zooming through the air at the deer.

"Awk!" The deer cried out as it was struck and dissolved with a little bit of loot sprinkled where it had been.

"Good job Crimson! For a newbie, I would say you did pretty well. Now, go pick up those items and let's go hunting for some more deer.

After about 1-2 hours of grinding, I got to level 2 while Celos got to level 3. We also got lots of loot. We gathered together a total of 40 items,

[26 Emeralds] Can be dropped from Emerald Deer

[12 Emerald wood] Can be used to craft (Basic Combat Emerald Mage Staff)

[Basic Combat mage Pyro/Cryo Emerald Staff]

[Basic Spirit Mage Chrono/Pyro Emerald Staff]

After we split the loot and equipped our separate things we heard an enormous bellow from deeper within the heart of the forest.

"What is 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕?!" I yelled, my voice being muffled by the noise

"No clue!" Celos responded, "Let's go check it out!"

We started walking through the forest to where the sound originated from, the noise getting louder as we trotted along. We finally got to a clearing where a giant stag stood. Immediately a name and giant health bar appeared in front of us and read:

[Boss level monster]

"Shit."
