Chapter 53: Convincing Tsundere Kurama

"Why did you tell me all this?" the Nine-Tails asked in confusion.

"As I've mentioned, telling you all this is just to get you to cooperate with me. Of course, I could use force to subdue you, but I respect the choices of every life and won't force them," 

Asahi said, shaking his head with a light laugh. His demeanor, combined with his words, made the Nine-Tails chuckle.

"Human, even though you're mysterious, do you think you can defeat me and change my mind?" Asahi revealed a mysterious smile. "Oh, it's difficult, but if you don't believe, shall we try?"

With that, Asahi's body emitted a tremendous chakra pressure, and numerous sealing technique runes formed chains in front of the Nine-Tails. 

The pure chakra-driven sealing jutsu increased the suppression on the Nine-Tails.

The once arrogant Nine-Tails fell silent for a moment.

Nevertheless, not losing its pride, the tailed beast leader declared, "Human, if it weren't for fearing that the little brat, Kushina, would be affected, preventing me from using my full power after taking over her body, I would certainly spar with you properly."

As Asahi observed the stubborn Nine-Tails, he couldn't help but smile inwardly but didn't expose its bluff.

"Can we talk properly now?" he asked.

"Hmph, human, tell me, how do you want me to cooperate with you? I'll consider it," the Nine-Tails said, staring at Asahi with curiosity about his intentions.

Asahi looked back at the Nine-Tails and straightforwardly replied, "It's simple. Cooperate well with Kushina, don't disturb her in the future, and lend her your chakra."

Hearing this, the Nine-Tails was perplexed. "Why? You, such an existence, shouldn't care about someone like Kushina, right? Also, what is the purpose of your Tazuna Clan?"

Asahi shook his head. "You seem to have misunderstood something. Do you think my Tazuna Clan is here for some malicious purpose, like the Otsutsuki Clan coming to the ninja world?"

"You're overthinking. As I said, we, the Tazuna Clan, accompany destiny. We either befriend it or confront it. Each previous head of the Tazuna Clan has never involved themselves in the world's dominance."

"No, Kushina is not one favored by destiny, or rather, she was favored, but destiny abandoned her. But yes, I do want to take her as my disciple."

"How is that possible! With my help, how could Kushina be someone abandoned by destiny?" the Nine-Tails exclaimed in shock.

Asahi shook his head with a hint of regret. 

"Without an opportunity to change her destiny, she would have died a few years from now. She has great potential, so I want to take her under my wing, giving her a chance to alter her fate and see where she can go in the uncertain future."

"What about me in her originally destined fate? What will happen after Kushina's death?" the Nine-Tails asked with confusion. 

Asahi didn't hide anything and replied directly.

"You? You'll be resealed into the body of a child, but that child will change you. He is the true child of destiny."

"So, have you decided how to choose? Accept the original fate, wait for the arrival of the Child of Destiny, or help Kushina break free from destiny?" Asahi's voice fell, and the Nine-Tails burst into laughter.

"Hahaha, what nonsense is this Child of Destiny? Can a human change my thoughts? Also, why should I make a choice? What benefit does it bring to me?" The Nine-Tails' voice, though loud, revealed a hint of uncertainty.

"Not making a choice is still a choice, isn't it? As for whether humans can change your thoughts, it will be revealed in the future."

"As for the benefits to you, at the very least, you will gain some freedom, won't you?"

"Freedom..." The Nine-Tails muttered softly. 

To be honest, it was swayed, not because of some nonsense Child of Destiny but because of the grand world that Asahi described.

Multiverse! The Nine-Tails, which had existed in the ninja world for a thousand years, had grown tired of this piece of the ninja world. If there was a chance to witness a broader world, it was actually quite tempting.

After a moment of silence, the Nine-Tails did not speak, and Asahi did not urge it.

"Tazuna Clan Leader Asahi! I can do my best to help Kushina, but I have one request."

Asahi breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the Nine-Tails' request. Agreeing to this was much simpler.

"When you leave the ninja world in the future, take me with you," the Nine-Tails stared at Asahi, enunciating each word.

Asahi was taken aback; he thought the Nine-Tails would ask for freedom or something. He didn't expect it to want to leave this world.

However, it wasn't a big deal, and he could fulfill its request.

"Sure, when I leave in the future, I can take you with me. However, due to the rules of the world's natural order, I can only take a portion of your chakra, allowing your consciousness to exist."

This was purely Asahi bullsh*tting the Nine-Tails; there were no rules of the natural order that requires a specific part. 

The Nine-Tails wasn't that crucial, and the existence of the natural order in the Naruto world was still up for debate.

If Asahi wanted to take the Nine-Tails entirely, he could do so.

He said this to keep a trump card for Kushina and Naruto.

"That's enough; I can accept that."

The Nine-Tails smiled on its massive fox face when it heard Asahi's agreement. Even with some limitations, it was satisfied.
