Chapter 52: Bullshitting Kurama about Tazuna Clan 'History'

Nine-Tails asked sharply, completely losing its arrogance from earlier.

Asahi shook his head, choosing not to directly answer its question.

"I've seen through the future with these eyes; you won't succeed."

"Succeed in what? Stop playing tricks here, human! I've lived for over a thousand years; I've seen it all!"

The Nine-Tails' voice was filled with frustration. It didn't believe that Asahi could see the future. 

Or rather, it refused to believe that it would be trapped inside a Jinchuriki forever.

However, the mysterious aura emanating from Asahi had already instilled a slight sense of fear in the Nine-Tails.

Asahi chuckled lightly at the Nine-Tails' agitated state.

"You don't have to act like this. If I don't intervene, you'll continue like this forever."

"Oh, I forgot to mention, your days will be a bit better from now on. Although the environment is a bit rough, at least you won't be bound by chains."

Since the moment Asahi declared his name, his words had gained a credibility boost with the Nine-Tails.

"Who are you? Why are you telling me this?"

Now that the Nine-Tails showed signs of softening, Asahi, with a mysterious and threatening tone, continued to speak.

"I am Asahi, the current head of the Tazuna Clan. I'm telling you this just to get you to cooperate a bit."

"Tazuna Clan? Cooperate?" The Nine-Tails was filled with confusion. What was Asahi's background, and what did he mean?

Having lived for over a thousand years, it was the first time the Nine-Tails heard the name Tazuna Clan.

But this couldn't be right? Considering the mystery and threat Asahi brought, he couldn't be an ordinary person. It didn't make sense that it hadn't heard of him in all these years!

Asahi, knowing that his usual tactics wouldn't work on a creature that had lived for Thousands years, prepared another set of convincing arguments tailored for the Nine-Tails.

So, after revealing his identity, he shifted his gaze to the still bewildered Kushina.

"Kushina, take a nap for a while."

"Huh?" Hearing Asahi's words, Kushina exclaimed in confusion.

And then, nothing happened. She felt a heavy sensation in her head, and drowsily drifted into sleep.

Asahi watched Kushina sleeping soundly, satisfied with the genjutsu he had used for the first time. 

It wasn't that he intended to deceive Kushina; it's just that this set of explanations wasn't suitable for anyone with access to the outside world. 

Naturally, this included Kushina. However, the Nine-Tails didn't matter; the fox was unlikely to say much.

Though Asahi wasn't afraid of anything right now, he disliked unnecessary trouble. 

Why create more issues if he could avoid them? He wanted to steadily advance his strength in the ninja world and then explore the vast multiverse peacefully. 

Of course, alongside enhancing his strength, completing some tasks from the system would be excellent. 

It would enrich himself and repay the debt to the previous Tazuna Clan head. Asahi understood the principle of repaying kindness.

Seeing Asahi make Kushina unconscious right after speaking, the Nine-Tails looked at him with surprise. 

Though it had many doubts, it didn't ask. It knew Asahi would answer its questions. Indeed, the next moment, Asahi addressed the Nine-Tails:

"Curious about my origins? No worries, let me explain."

"We, the Tazuna Clan, are spread across countless dimensions. We investigate the celestial mechanism, sometimes aligning with fate, sometimes opposing it. The ninja world is just one among the multiverse."

Asahi had only just started explaining, but the revealed information was already enough to shock anyone, including the Nine-Tails. 

Therefore, as Asahi finished speaking, the Nine-Tails immediately questioned loudly:

"Countless dimensions? Aligning or opposing fate? Are you questioning my intelligence, human!"

Due to its size, the Nine-Tails naturally had a loud voice. When it increased its volume with a question, ordinary people would likely have their eardrums buzzing. 

The high volume of the Nine-Tails' voice added a heavy atmosphere to the mental space.

Asahi wasn't angered by the interruption, nor did he blame the Nine-Tails for its skepticism. 

After all, this reason was hard for a normal person with an already established worldview to accept quickly, let alone the Nine-Tails, an ancient fox with a worldview formed over millennia.

With a light chuckle and a shake of his head, Asahi looked at the Nine-Tails.

"Do you know about the Otsutsuki Clan? They are also extraterrestrial visitors, aren't they? It's just that I come from an even more distant place than they do."

The Nine-Tails naturally knew about the Otsutsuki Clan. However, it wasn't very clear about the origins and objectives of the Otsutsuki Clan. 

Even the Sage of the Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, only knew that his mother, Kaguya Hime, wanted to destroy the ninja world.

"Do you understand the origins and objectives of the Otsutsuki Clan?" The puzzled voice of the Nine-Tails reached Asahi's ears.

Asahi didn't hide anything and directly spoke the truth:

"They wander through the boundless universe, searching for suitable worlds, planting the seeds of the Divine Tree, and then waiting for the Divine Tree to bloom and bear fruit."

"Oh, by the way, Kaguya Hime, a member of the Otsutsuki Clan, wanted to destroy the ninja world by creating war machines after stealing and consuming the fruit of the Divine Tree to resist the punishment of her fellow clan members."

"You even know Kaguya Hime!" The voice of the Nine-Tails was filled with astonishment.

Asahi being able to mention the name of the mother of the Sage of the Six Paths was truly unexpected.

Asahi dismissively shook his head, "As I said, our Tazuna Clan can investigate the celestial mechanism."

"To be honest, we have been investigating the ninja world for a long time. Many future destinies are already known to various influential groups, not to mention the events that happened before."

"As long as someone has been enveloped by the destiny of the ninja world, I can investigate their fate trajectory."

"It's precisely because now is one of the most active eras of the ninja world's destiny that many destined individuals and resistors have emerged or are about to emerge."

"I think this is the most exciting and anticipated era for the ninja world, so I came here."
