webnovel

The start of the beginning.

Aaryn, having reached the pinnacle of power and becoming the strongest, found himself in a paradoxical state. The once insurmountable challenges that fueled his cultivation journey were conquered, leaving him with a sense of accomplishment but also an overwhelming sense of boredom. As he looked upon the world, time passing by without presenting any new challenges, Aaryn pondered the purpose of his newfound strength. What now? That single question turn the entire chaos upside down! Author warning!!!!!! Don't expect the novel to get good immediately; at least read until around chapter 50. Only after that will the story be able to develop. If you don't like overpowered characters, this might not be your cup of tea. There will be mystery, challenges, and things won't just be given to the protagonist. And yes, he will be the strongest from the start, but read the story to understand more. There will be romance and a harem, but don't worry, female characters won't be portrayed as headless fools, nor will every girl join the harem. This is my first novel, so I hope people can be understanding. I am also not a native English speaker, but I will try not to make grammar mistakes.

Prophecy

Princess Aldric Ironhelm's POV:

To think, even after being recognized as the crown princess, I'm still unable to decide what I truly want – I feel so powerless. I glanced at one of my friends and asked, "So, what do you think about the prophecy?"

She looked at me solemnly and replied, "Your Highness, who am I to comment on the prophecy that the shaman made? But if truth be told, every prophecy has proven true for our kingdom. It might be wise to at least observe what unfolds."

I sighed and nodded in agreement, "Well, it's not like we can prevent it anyway. I just wonder who that man will be."

Rahul's POV:

It was weird, to say the least, seeing Aryan simply vanish into me, but whatever, it's not like I can change anything. I glanced at the other two who seemed to be taking in their surroundings. I turned my head to observe the lower plane.

Vehicles resembling floating cars, integrated buildings soaring above, and people commuting on bridges as if heading to work – it all looked different from Earth, yet strangely familiar. Their clothing bore similarities to ours, yet differed in material.

The most striking contrast I noticed was the presence of various humanoids – some with pointed ears, others with normal ones. I supposed they were all humans, just different species.

Holographic displays adorned the surroundings, likely serving as advertisements. I felt overwhelmed; such sights were rare indeed.

I collected my wandering thoughts and turned towards both of them, asking what we should do first. They both turned towards me. Rishi looked at me hesitantly and said, "Majesty, I think we should gather some information first to understand our situation and the kind of lower plane we're on." Even Amaan seemed stunned to see how Rishi call me.

I looked at him, furrowing my eyebrows, and said, "Rishi, first, don't call me 'his Majesty' or something. I am not Aryan." He looked at me disapprovingly and said, "I'm not sure if you know this, but being his half-soul means you are his Majesty, whether you accept it or not. That's something different, but you are his Majesty without a doubt."

Feeling annoyed, I replied, "Hey, dude, listen carefully. If you want to be our partner, that's fine with me, but if you want to make it clear that you can't, you can leave. Call me by my name, which is Rahul. That would be appreciated. If not, then I'll have to go on my way with my friend." He reluctantly nodded.

"Now, that's settled. Well, what you said was certainly true. I guess we should first collect some information about this lower realm," I remarked.

Amaan looked at me and asked, "Can you give me some general information before we go? I don't even know what lower realms are supposed to mean exactly." Remembering that Amaan wasn't present when Aryan was teaching me, I nodded.

"I'll give you a general understanding of what lower, middle, and higher realms are supposed to be," I said. Amaan looked excited to learn more.

"First, you need to understand that everything is connected like a spiderweb. First comes lower, then middle, then higher, and then the Eternal Empire. Now, what are realms? Well, you can understand them as 1 chaos making one lower realm. To be acknowledged by COHH, also known as the Council of High Heaven, you need to be at least a Type 3 civilization and have at least cultivation of law seeking. It's said there are millions of lower realms, but not every lower realm can be acknowledged as such due to lacking knowledge and technology," I explained.

Amaan looked at me and said, "So, from what I understand, they already know about the Eternal Empire and are all connected?" I affirmed, saying, "Yes."

Looking disappointed, he said, "Shouldn't lower realms be unaware of what the Eternal Empire is?" Confused, I asked, "And why is that?" He looked a little embarrassed and explained, "Every novel I've read always portrays lower realms as ignorant and thinking of themselves as powerful," as if his dreams were shattered. I rolled my eyes at him.

Rishi suddenly turned to Amaan and said, "Well, low realms are certainly weak but definitely not ignorant. Every lower realm acknowledged by COHH is greater than thousands of others."

Amaan looked at him and asked, "Rahul, does that mean our Earth is also a realm?" I confirmed, adding, "But from what Aryan told me, our realm seems to be so low that it's not even considered a realm, but a star." He widened his eyes at my revelation.

After a few seconds of digesting what I said, he remarked, "Sure, man, that line is perfect for us humans; we're all frogs in a well. By the way, what is COHH exactly? I guess by name, but still, what exactly do they do?"

I looked at him and said, "Well, they're a group of the most powerful high and middle heavens who are given the right to select and dispose of heavenly matters, and much more. It's far too long to explain now."

He nodded, then asked, "Just one more question, does that mean the other you is the leader of COHH?" Before I could answer, Rishi interjected, "No, COHH is just a group of high heavens. His Majesty has never once attended that meeting. There's one more council known as COS, the Council of Sovereigns, which is chaired by His Majesty himself, and Sovereigns are part of it. As for COHH, it does not impact us in any way. The Eternal Empire has its own rules. COHH has to answer to COS every time, and one of the Sovereigns oversees the COHH meeting. Sovereigns can veto anytime they want if they don't like it, but most of the time, they don't care. COHH is insignificant compared to the real council, but for any low realm COHH is like god"

Amaan looked at Rishi and me, saying, "Thanks."

Rishi said from what I can see I am guess we are on one of the acknowledged lower realm, which is good.

I confirmed his words as Aryan had told me that he be taking me to one of the low realms.
