CHAPTER THIRTEEN ~Chanel

Derek's older brother, Maleek, is telling me about something that happened the past semester at college. I may not be cool with Derek, but Maleek is a good guy, we grew up together, and he is sort of Rémy's friend and Rémy only makes friends with good people. Alina, Kourtney and I are at the soccer team's Friday party. Siobhan had to stay home because she's been having series of fights with Jarett, from dealing with his insecurities to him acting all weird and distant. Now though, I'm all for her leaving him.

My mom will be back by Tuesday then, we'd discuss if Tobi would come to stay with us or not. She doesn't even talk to me at school, and I don't know why. I've tried to say hello a couple of times, but she just acts like she doesn't see me. She always sits alone during lunch, and I haven't seen her talk to anybody in the entire school. Once or twice, the soccer boys have made fun of her, and it didn't sit well with me.
