Renege

While everyone was busy sleeping and thinking about their future possibilities Eredeti was at a lost he kept thinking over and over what the purpose of his travels were to him to make friends to find something to pass time to have fun maybe but one thing he did know was he never wanted anyone of his friends to ever die in battle he wanted to be there to protect them or at least be there for their final moments he didn't want to have any regrets not now not never

So he once again started to think about his purpose his path which was already blurry and unclear he found no reason to keep walking forward he simply didn't want to be alone like Balderic said he wanted a family but Eredeti found the few people who cared for him in this world and he saw them as family they had traveled together protected each other learned to live with each other share in each others pain and regrets

But Eredeti knew of one thing to keep moving forward for the warnings of the being and the many questions that had been left unanswered he wanted knowledge he wanted truth and in order to do that he needed power, he needed his friends to help him although his path was unclear at the moment he knew one thing and that was to keep going forward with his new found family once he found some satisfaction to the questions he was asking himself he drifted into sleep

Meanwhile Balderic was also thinking about his future what Eredeti said had hit him the hardest he realized if this was truly the last time his old friend Kanied were to see each other he wanted to spend every moment with him until his demise even if he never wanted to face the dragon that killed his father he knew he couldn't just leave them to die he was thinking about it over and over and finally decided he wanted to go not to avenge his father but for one last adventure to his story although their may be many more he wanted to make sure he made a big bang if he were to pass away instead of living a slow life in his village he wanted to see a bit more of the world he wanted to see how his own and his friends adventures were to turn out

Although Balderic thought of it as him being selfish he didn't care he just wanted to add one last chapter to his story that would be told for generations to come so he finally decided he would go along Kanied and see where this adventure would end in another tragedy or in a ray of light and glory so with his thoughts finally organized he dozed off

Once morning came the group started to get ready to leave when Balderic stopped them

"You might need a few horses for transportation don't you think?" Balderic siad

Balderic then pointed towards the back of his house and when they went around they saw 4 fully packed horses ready for a journey

"Wait why are their four?" Steve asked

"Well why'd you think" Balderic said with a big grin on his face

"I cant just let you guys die when I could have prevented it now can I?" Balderic said

"Haha well my old friends it seems you have finally come around my friend" Kanied said

"So was it because of my good conviction or for the sake of all of Amanthel" Kanied said

"Actually neither, you old bastard, It was actually something Eredeti said that made me realize something" Balderic said

"Ohh me? What'd I say" Eredeti said

"You said that you wanted to protect them even if it cost you your life and I respected that fire in you and it made me realize I too wish to see the end of this long chapter in our stories" Balderic said

"Hmm a very nice reasoning for sure, now we must embark on our journey to Zoldivolk" Kanied said

Once they made their convictions they were all ready to travel once more with high spirits not knowing that the scout has finally made it back to the border of Emanthel the orc known as Karatur got off his warg in a panic and quickly ran throw crowds of orcs bumping into a few of them

"Oi glob what's your problem"

"Ayy watch where your going you Wraith bait"

"I'll send you the the gates of Zarabon myself!"

Karatur currently wasn't worried at all the empty threats being thrown at him he instead had a mission to inform the closest high ranking orc there while running he was getting closer and closer to the border region where there was a massive wall till the eye can see as he was running up a much bigger orc clad in pure black armor to signify his authority stopped him before he could even get close to the door close by

"Stop right there! who are you and what reason do you have to come to the commanders barracks!" the burz uruk ordered

"I bring news of the humans advancements" Karatur said

"If you have news to pass on you can tell me instead!" The burz uruk ordered

"Of course, one of The encampment's near the Amanthel border has been destroyed by a wizard and 2 human swordsmen" Karatur said with a hurried voice

"What! does that mean Amanthel already knows of our coming invasion?" The burz uruk asked

"I don't know all I knew was I had to escape and report this to the higher ups" Karatur said

"Hmph very well I shall report this to the commander however" the burz uruk said with a hint of anger

"Did you say you fled from the enemy?" The burz uruk asked

"I swear I only did so to inform the commander" Karatur said with a hint of fear

"Hmph very well I shall let you off the hook for now, However! If you ever run from another battle ever again I'll kill you myself!" The burz uruk said with a intimidating aura

All Karatur could do was shiver in the place he was standing fearing for his life

"Now leave! you coward" The Burz uruk said

Karatur didn't even think twice he ran as fast as he could trying to escape the intimidating aura that the higher raced orc released even when Karatur was far enough away to barely see him he could still slightly feel the fear and aura that the Burz uruk made him go through only one thought crossed his mind

'I wish I never meet him again'

When the Burz uruk saw that the orc was far enough away he quickly started to sweat and acted nervous

"I must report this immediately" He said to himself before quickly running up the tower

Once he got to the top level of the tower he knocked on the door when someone finally opened it, it was a demon woman who looked quite angry at the burz uruk who interrupted her and to the side their was another demon male

"What do you want!" The demon yelled

"I'm sorry for interrupting you vice commander, However their has been news that one of the towers subordinates have destroyed one of our camps to the west and I fear that they may have discovered our plans" the Burz uruk said

"Tsk very well I'll forgive you for now, However don't interrupt me ever again!" The demon stated

The demon the slammed the door shut and the Burz uruk then went back to his guarding post

"Hmph I hate all those lower lifeforms who serve us!" The demon woman stated

"Hey now Elizabeth the true dark lord himself created them for our use we can't just belittle them like that" The demon man said

"Hahh their just so annoying and stupid not to mention atrocious" Elizabeth said

"Come now the burz uruk who the dark lord made are much stronger and smarter than regular orcs and the don't look as bad" The demon man said

"Well that may be true but still they shouldn't have bothered us in our alone time Eric" Elizabeth said

"come now he did bring us some rather interesting intel, that reminds me, of the cults of Amanthel who have we bribed or persuaded to work under us?" asked Eric

"Well, one of the most influential cults that worship the demon lord of fallen feathers has agreed to help us with compensation the most likely cause would be by their high priest or the demon lord himself seeing the benefits" Elizabeth said

"Hmph I wouldn't doubt that the old crow or the greedy bastard of a demon lord wanted some extra members to serve their church or at least raise a army of the dead to cause a ruckus" Eric said

"I wouldn't be talking so lowly of a demon lord like that" Elizabeth said

"And why shouldn't I its not like theirs a sneaky bird somewhere" Eric said

"Please you never know and besides he's a Ablion you should know how strong they are since even the dark lord who is a Felanor is 10x stronger than any general he has under him" Elizabeth said

"Well we demons were created to be a counter measure to the Felanor so I don't see what's the big deal, don't get me wrong I'm not saying I want to fight the guy even I don't even come near his power but the only reason we serve him is because he's a puppet who's about to get his strings cut when the true dark lord arrives" Eric said

"Are you crazy?! you can't just casually say that around here you'll never know if he has eyes or ears here" Elizabeth said

Eric then quickly covered his mouth and realized what he just said and how stupid it was to say it in the dark lords own territory

"You're right I shouldn't have said that especially not here" Eric said

"Good now stop being so stupid and get over here" Elizabeth said with a hint of a sadistic tone

"Well of course my lady" Eric complied and went to continue their previous engagement
