Chapter 11 I hate you.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the stables which had a Pegasus in each one. There was only one person here, and it was a girl.

Jakob's breath caught in his throat at the sight of her and he couldn't help but stare.

She seemed roughly fourteen. She had silky black hair that he'd only seen in top notch salons. Her hair stopped at her lower back. She had pink eyeliner and a bit of pink lipstick on her lips, which made her even more prettier. Jakob actually blushed at the thought. He never really thought that make-up made girls pretty, but it seemed to work on her. She also wore an orange CAMP HALF-BLOOD T-shirt and blue jeans.

She seemed to be the most gorgeous girl Jakob ever met. Annabeth seemed cute, but she was beautiful.

"Silena!" Annabeth called, getting the girl's attention and she smiled, which made Jakob blush again before he fought to get himself under control. He wasn't some shy boy who blushes at the sight of every pretty girl.

"Hey Annie." Silena said, grinning as Annabeth pouted.

"Don't call me that." She huffed, causing the girl to laugh before they shared a hug and then Silena noticed Jakob, her blue eyes glinting with recognition. "Hey, you're the boy Annabth and I found on the shore of the lake!"

"So you're the other one who pulled me out." Jakob stated more than asked, crossing his arms.

"Yes." Silena nodded.

Jaob grunted then said. "I... thank you."

Silena raised a brow at his response before looking at Annabeth. "He's not too trusting of others." The daughter of Athena explained.

"Ah, well hopefully your time here changes that." Silena said with a knowing smile. "We look out for each other here, seeing as we're all related in some way. I'm Silena. Silena Beareguard, daughter of Aphrodite."

Jakob eyed her outstretched hand and then, two seconds later, grasped it and shook it. "Jakob Thorsson. Son of Thor."

Silena's eyes widened at that and she looked at Annabeth, who nodded to confirm that Jakob is who he says he is. She then noticed her and Jakob were still shaking hands and Jakob soon noticed as well, the two quickly pulling their hands back.

"So there are other Gods out there?" Silena asked with shock and surprise.

"Of course!" Mimir said, causing Silena to blink in confusion and Jakob sighed before he held up Mimir's head, to which Silena's eyes widened again. "Now please don't scream. I'm a reanimated head."

"O-Okay." Silena said taking a step back in shock before she managed to compose herself while Annabeth looked at her sympathetically, having had a similar reaction when she saw Mimir the first time. "Who are you?"

"Me? I'm the greatest ambassador to the Gods, the Giants, and all the creatures of the Nine Realms. I know every corner of these lands, every language spoken, every war waged, every deal ever struck. They call me… Mimir! -smartest man alive, and I have the answer to your every question."

"...So other Gods exist?" Silena asked after getting over her shock to get back to asking her question again.

"Yes. Do none of you really suspect, even a little bit, that other pantheons existed?" Mimir asked, wondering how they could accept the existence of the Greek Pantheon, but doubt that other Pantheons could exist.

"I…just didn't think about it." Admitted Annabeth, realizing she should have at least suspected the possibility.

"I…thought that it may be possible when I first learned the truth. Given that if the Greek Gods were really, then what else could be real too." Silena said, having considered the possibility, but brushed it off since no one else seemed to consider the chance other Pantheons existing.

"Keep that mindset, it's better to believe that there's at least a possibility that's the case and be prepared if you encounter something that wants you dead." Said Jakob, knowing it'd be more dangerous for them to doubt something exists, only to end up coming face-to-face with it.

With the girls nodding at his words, realizing that anything really is possible in the world they live in

"So... you're from the Norse Pantheon and your dad is Thor." Silena stated, and Jakob gave a small nod in response. "So... is he really like Chris Hemsworth?"

"Not even close." Jakob said with a roll of his eyes.

"A word of advice, Silena." Annabeth piped in. "Don't compare him to the Marvel Thor."

"Right." Silena nodded before she smiled at Jakob. "Anyway, it was nice to meet you, Jakob. I better get back to work since one of the Pegasus are acting up."

"Okay. See you around." Jakob said as he turned to leave.

"Oh, you will." Silena smiled before turning and going back into the stables.

"She seemed nice." Jakob remarked.

"Oh? Has the pretty daughter of Aphrodite pierced through the cold walls of the son of Thor and into his heart?" Mimir asked jokingly, causing Annabeth to giggle while Jakob rolled his eyes.

"Don't even start, Mimir." He said.

"I'm just saying! You seem to have relaxed a little after speaking with her. Baby steps, I take it?" Mimir asked with a smirk.

"I hate you." Jakob sighed.

"Come on." Annabeth said, still giggling. "I've got to get yours and Andromeda's bunk ready in the Hermes cabin."

"I'm still debating on building my own." Jakob muttered, not liking the idea of being in a cabin with a huge bunch of people he didn't know, especially when some of them are children of the God of Thieves.

The two made their way to the cabins. Along the way, Annabeth grabbed a book and started reading it while on approach to the Hermes cabin. Jakob just raised an eyebrow at her but said nothing, shaking his head.

However, they weren't waiting long before they heard footsteps approaching and looked to see Chiron arrive with Andromeda.

"Annabeth," Chiron said, "I have masters' archery class at noon. Would you take Andromeda from here?"
