Novel R-18 For the moment there are 5 chapters published per week, no chapters are released on Saturday and Sunday. Guys, English is not my mother tongue, there will definitely be many errors, but you have to live with them, since I have seen and read, many novels that have these errors, but there are still many people who read them, so I hope that also mine be considered :).

Escape from the sewers

"Basically the guild didn't want to send you on this mission, because it deemed you unsuitable for this task, and you still decided to come here, even without having to accept the mission." Sanryu gives a brief summary of what Zaria explained to him.

"Exactly, let me know, what rank are you at the moment?" Zaria wanted to know Sanryu's rank.

"I just signed up today, I'm copper rank." Sanryu has perhaps guessed where Zaria is going.

"Copper?! And just as I thought..." Zaria puts on a face mixed between disappointment and anguish.

"What rank are you?" The boy wants to know Zaria's rank.

"I'm on the same level as you, I've been an adventurer for a very short time, about a month." Zaria's career, just like Sanryu's, was also born recently. "I can guess why they didn't give me this mission." Zaria has some ideas in his head.

"I see...look, the exit is just ahead." Sanryu doesn't try to ask what's troubling the girl's thoughts, since she doesn't have a strong bond with Zaria.

The two come out of the cave and see that the sun is already about to set on the horizon, we are in the winter season, so the sunny days are shorter unlike the summer ones. Zaria breathes a sigh of relief, finally being able to breathe fresh air outdoors, unlike the filthy cave it is gloomy.

"Zaria, I don't know what problems you have with the guild, but the life of an adventurer is dangerous, you can't throw yourself into these missions without taking the right precautions." Sanryu tries to give some kind of guidance to the girl, even though he is new to this world. "I can understand that coming from me it makes little sense, but I can assure you that these are the words of an expert." Sanryu imagines his father figure in his mind. "So, if you don't want to worry your family, your loved ones, don't do these stupid things, because they are." Sanryu looks straight into the girl's eyes.

"Hmph! For a plebeian, you have some courage to correct a noble like me...but I don't think your words are idle. But I don't think my family would be saddened by my absence..." Zaria assumes a melancholic expression, upsetting Sanryu.

"I don't think there is any family that truly hates its members, don't say that Zaria." Sanryu tries to console the girl.

"You're only saying that because you don't know my family, you don't know anything about Floga, my family expects a lot from me…" Zaria folds her arms around her chest, hugging her.

'I didn't mean to pry... but if she's in this state...' Sanryu lets out a small sigh. "Zaria, I know it's none of my business, but if you want, you can talk to me, sometimes it's good to vent your feelings to other people." Zaria turns her gaze upwards, seeing as the girl is shorter than Sanryu, he opens his mouth, but before he can start speaking, she stops.

"No, never mind, like you said, it's not your problem. A noble shouldn't behave this way...I don't know what came over me." Zaria tightens her lips, and shifts the vision of her gaze in front of her, not wanting to talk to Sanryu.

"I can understand, I don't intend to insist any further. But if ever one day you want to change your mind, you will always find me around here." Sanryu doesn't press Zaria, she is she tells him that if she would like to talk to him, it's not a problem.

"You did? Huh? Who is that girl?" Lurue gets up from the grass, the girl next to Sanryu is immediately noticed. "Wait! And the girl who touched me today, yes I remember you, you're the rude one." Lurue remembers the girl, it's about her rude act of her.

"Rude?! Now you're going to get involved too? And who are you? I've never seen you before." Zaria gets irritated by Lurue's accusation, she points the finger at her goddess, telling her that she doesn't even know her.

"This is Lurue, my adventure companion." Sanryu introduces Lurue to the girl.

"I'd say I'm more than an 'adventure companion', given all the times we've intertwined in bed." Lurue puts on a flirtatious expression, making the young girl next to Sanryu blush.

"W-what impurity! How can you say that so brazenly to a stranger, without any shred of shame?! I assume that you too are like her, after all "The gods create them, the gods mate them", never was a proverb more true. " Zaria turns her gaze towards Sanryu, the latter has an apologetic expression, letting out a small laugh. The girl seems indignant at these two, she again changes the direction of her gaze, not wanting to look at the boy's face.

"Ahah, what a curious proverb, but I can't agree with you more..." Lurue laughs at what Zaria says, but doesn't reveal her true identity, as she would gain nothing by doing so. "Anyway, you're done with the mission, right Sanryu? Then I guess we can head back to the city to claim the reward." Lurue says nothing else, and turns on her heel, to return to the guild.

Sanryu didn't forget to take some evidence to make the guild recognize the success of his mission, without saying anything, he also starts walking towards Deria, followed by Zaria.

Meanwhile in the sewers, the group of tabaxi is alarmed by the news that the scouting tabaxi has reported.

"Are you saying they got this far?! Those damn rats seem to get everywhere, dammit!" One of the tabaxi slams his fist against the wall, becoming enraged.

"Calm down, Lozu, we still have a chance to implement our plan, we should just warn the rest of the battalion that is outside the city...I will make the proposal to implement our action plan anyway, but before the agreed time ." The leader of the group, who seems to have wolf-like traits, calms the boiling spirit of his subordinate.

"Borz, how do you intend to contact the rest of our brothers? You too will have understood that by now these sewers will have already become the domain of those abominations, or if not yet, it's not long now. The destruction of this city is now imminent, The Marquis's days are numbered, we should let the Skaven deal with it, let them kill each other." Lozu debates Borza's decision, and pronounces the name of the race of those humanoid rats.

"Do you want to let our enemies destroy each other? That's a good idea, but will you let the humans' unspeakable act go unpunished? Do you want to leave our prey to those rats? Where has your tabaxi spirit gone? " Borz claims that Lozu's idea is good and valid, but in this way, they will end up fulfilling that promise they swore to keep, a promise of revenge and redemption. "Ketty, go and warn our brothers, we will attack tomorrow, as soon as the moons are high in the sky, I don't want to hear any objections." Borz commands another member of his group to warn the rest of the tabaxi outside, to distract the city guards

"At your orders, Alpha!" Ketty pounds her fist on her chest, she is preparing to leave to inform the tabaxi outside the city walls, running at an animalistic speed.

"I hope you made the right choice, Borz...otherwise we will all die in vain." Lozu is still convinced of his choice, but he certainly won't go against his Alpha.

Through it all, Fenrya sits in the corner, in complete silence, listening to his group's discussion. 'Mh?' But his attention is drawn to a corner of the hideout, his ears can hear a subtle sniffing sound. And he instinctively sprints towards that corner, finding a skaven who was eavesdropping on the tabaxi's discussion. "They found us!" Fenrya says this, as he punches the rat's head, killing it instantly.

"Damn it! We can't stay in this hideout much longer. We have to leave, get out of these sewers!" Lozu already had a bad feeling, but now he was sure, the skaven were coming. "Lynz, you had yourself followed." Lozu turns on the party member who discovered the skaven's location.

"I'm sorry...I got followed like a puppy." Lynz apologizes to the rest of the group.

"Let's move to the surface, we can't stay in these sewers." Borz orders his group to leave the sewers, although they are a strong group, they are no match for the Skaven's numbers.

Fenrya looks at the skaven's corpse, but does not observe it for a long time, and follows her companions through the sewer tunnels.

The group of tabaxi tries in every way to find a way out of these sewers, but the skaven have already taken possession of most of the exits.

"They're everywhere! Damn rats!" Lozu takes the head off a skaven. "Borz! We have to find a solution, it's now!" Lozu watches her alpha as he faces off against a skaven brute.

"I already know, you don't need to tell me, Lozu." Borz dodges the brute's claw, and with one swift movement, delivers a powerful kick under the great skaven's chin, severing the head from the abomination's body. 'The only thing we can do is keep running to find an exit from these damned sewers.' Borz tries to think of something while he faces more skaven.

"Alpha, I will open an escape route for you...I was the cause of the discovery of our refuge, I will not fix my mistake, but at least I will be able to get you out of these damned sewers alive." Lynz wants to somehow make amends for his mistake, and wants to sacrifice his life for it.

"Lynz...do you want to go that far?" Borz looks straight into Lynz's eyes, and in them he can only see his determination in this suicidal act.

"Hey, mutts! Look what I have here sniff sniff." A skaven steps out from the crowd of other rats, showing what he has clutched in his paw.

"NO! Ketty! Damn rats!" Borz screams at the Skaven as he sees his companion's severed head. 'I'm sorry, Ketty...' Borz regrets his choice, seeing Ketty's lifeless head. "Lynz, it pains me to say this, but I accept your choice, sacrifice yourself to get us out of these sewers." Borz eventually gives in and decides to sacrifice Lynz's life to allow most of his group to survive.

"It is an honor for me to sacrifice my life for the cause." Lyzn rejoices in being able to allow her alpha to survive.

"Shouldn't you be the one who should be sacrificed, Borz?" Luzu glares at Borz, not approving of her alpha's choice.

"Don't worry, Luzu, my time will come soon...otherwise I would have very willingly given my life right now." Borz already has in mind what to do with his life once he gets out of these sewers.

"I hope you're telling the truth..." Luzu looks away from her, and turns her attention to the skaven near them.

Lynz positions himself in front of his group, is a fit of anger, throws himself against the crowd of skaven, in order to attract the attention of the rats towards him.

"Luzu, Fenrya it's time, let's escape towards the exit." Borz orders the rest of the group to run towards the exit closest to them, with Lynz's battle cries behind them, while he slaughters as many rats as possible. 'You will not be forgotten, Brother Lynz.' Borz has these thoughts as he manages to escape from the sewers.

The moons are already high in the sky, illuminating the city with their silver color, the group of tabaxi spent hours trying to escape from those sewers.

"Luzu, Fnerya, you reunite with the rest of the pack...I must complete the mission, or die trying." Borz still plans to kill the Marquis, even with the skaven invasion imminent.

"You're so dense, but if that's your decision, then I won't say anything." Luzu doesn't say anything else, after all she ended up hating her alpha because of her latest decisions, leading to the death of two of their companions.

"Borz...I'm staying here with you." Both Borz and Luzu are surprised by Fenrya's sentences.

"Are you sure, Fenrya? We will probably die in the quest, I know what your true intent is, but there will be other opportunities to gain what you want." Borz warns the woman that it will probably be a suicide mission.

"It doesn't matter, I have decided to be part of this mission, and I want to complete it to the end." Fenrya is determined to finish this mission.

"Typical of an abomination like you, but if you want to die, go ahead, no one will stop you." Luzu only has these sentences to say, and then leaves the two alone.

"Alright, Fenrya since you chose to stay until the end, I thank you, even though I know you don't do it for me." Borz thanks the tabaxi. "I hope that one day, you will be accepted by our people as you should be." Fenrya nods, saying nothing, and the two begin to hide in the darkness of the city, biding their time.

A few hours before Borz's group emerged from the sewers, Sanryu's group arrives at the guild hall.

"Okay, I'll be on my way now, when I can take off this cloak, I'll make sure to give it back to you." Zaria greets the two and lets them know that she will return the cloak as soon as possible.

"Don't worry, it's not a problem, goodbye, Zaria." Sanryu greets the girl, who walks off in one direction. "Well, time to collect your reward, let's go Lurue." Sanryu and Lurue enter the guild, wanting to receive the reward of the mission carried out.
