As a Whisperer Star descends upon the 51st Floor of the Desirer's Summit, the rampant forces cause a calamity. Mortals cannot oppose a Star. It is the most obvious law that exists within the Tower, also known as the Desirer's Summit. As if abiding by the law, Aiden Nightshade is engulfed by the calamity, and in his final moments, witnesses the betrayal of his trusty comrade.
