A dark romance drama that follows the story of Kay Olivia Faison, a female rapper from the hood who rises to fame in Hollywood. Kay is unaware that her boss, Hikaru Hitachi, is secretly the youngest Yakuza drug kingpin boss in Tokyo, hiding his true identity under the facade of a professional and controlled businessman. In addition to running a drug operation in Tokyo, Hikaru is also running a drug operation in Hollywood through the ports, causing problems with other gangs in the area and attracting the attention of law enforcement.
As Kay and Hikaru’s paths cross, they are drawn to each other despite their vastly different backgrounds and lifestyles. However, their relationship is complicated by Hikaru’s hidden identity and the cultural divide between them; Hikaru’s Japanese side is not accepting of Kay because she’s black.
