Katherine's POV:
Five Months later-
I was humming and singing Night Changes by One Direction as i drove my baby girl through the highway by woods.
Goin' out tonight, changes into something red
Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress
Everything she never had she's showin' off
Drivin' too fast, moon is breakin' through her hair
She's headin' for somethin' that she won't forget
Havin' no regrets is all that she really wants

Apparently Kristy is 4 months pregnant. I can't really visit her and her being pregnant, its not safe for her outside of her pack.. or shall i say my mate's pack..
So i will just get the gift delivered to her address. By magic of course..
I parked & speed to the witch, sophie's house by the woods. A old acquaintance of mine. I knocked on the door and wait. No answer, wtf? I knock again.
That's when i smell the alluring smell of blood from inside. Shit! I can't go inside... I haven't been invited yet!
I quickly run out of her porch and into her garden and take out the fences from the ground and aim them at the door with full speed.
Targeting two at once at the door, the door burst into pieces from the impact.. That's when i see her laying in her own blood in the hallway by the door.
The blood looks fresh, almost as if its been done minuted ago. Her neck has been slashed by a sharp object, eyes wide open. I felt the invitation border lift from the house as her heart beat its last rhythm.
She was a good witch, rogue witch but good at her work nonetheless.. I sigh.. looks like i have to do my work myself.
I was about to step inside the house when,
"Well well well look who we have in here"
I froze but, i can't show fear, no i am not that weak girl anymore!
"Well well well if this isn't mr. first class son of a motherfcking bitch." I sneered at him as i turned around. That bastard!
Suddenly a dart pricked me in the shoulder. V-Vervain! I started to feel dizzy. I should have had my bloody meal in time, literally. I didn't drink blood for 2weeks now! But i wanted to mix my smell into a kinda human one. Big Mistake... And i like to learn from my mistakes... so gotta make it out alive for the learning part.
I quickly spot other vampires and some rogue werewolves surround the area. I might be a powerful vampire, but i know my limit. I am kinda weak and outnumbered. My best bet is running right now.
Thank god i left my car about 2hours away from here. I always do it so that i can vamp speed there and run away without people knowing anything about anything about my damn life.
I quickly summarized a escape plan in mind. Its risky but i got no other option right now.
I quickly speed into the house and into Sophie's witch room. Witch blood is toxic and acidic to other supernatural as they are the nature's servant and they are to be protected at all times & they make a good temporary barrier too so i quickly poured some of her blood infront of witch room so that they can't enter anymore.
I could touch it as Sophie trusted me on a certain level.. and witches don't trust easily believe me when i say that, first hand experience...
I quickly grab her crystal and took off my necklace.

I quickly read the incarnation for portals.. i just hope it takes me to a safe place. Portals are unpredictable, they take you to places where you are needed the most or where fate wants you to be. Only great witches can control them accordingly...and i am a half witch that too inexperienced!
I could feel myself grew weaker by the seconds and vampires and rogues trying to get inside the room. The blood of Sophie is already almost washed by the water they are pouring on it.
Just as they run towards me, i felt myself sinking into the open portal and my whole world spinning.
I felt myself fall on soft grass as i struggled to keep my eyes open and my conscious intact but i couldn't... the vervain is already mixed with my blood. It needs to be washed out, and the only way is to drink fresh human blood. But I at least won't die, as vervain can't kill a vampire just weakens, but we the old ones are mostly immune but I am starving so it got to me... Fuck that diet, I am never making that mistake ever fcking again!
I finally gave into the darkness, and the last thing i heard is someone familiar calling out to me... but i was too weak to answer.....
